Tideline Palm Beach Ocean Resort and Spa

We just spent the weekend at Tideline Palm Beach Resort and it was honestly one of the best stays we’ve had in a long time. Everything from the food to the service to the views was so special.|Chef Emiliano is on a completely different level — every meal was unreal. We didn’t leave the resort once because the food was that good and there were so many options we wanted to try.|The overall service made the biggest difference. Eduardo, the food & bev manager, was so genuine and welcoming — he made us feel truly taken care of in a way you don’t get at most resorts. At the pool and beach, Isaiah went above and beyond the entire time. He worked so hard and made sure everything was perfect for us. Little moments of hospitality like that were everywhere.|Our oceanfront room was stunning. The balcony was perfect and we watched the sunrise every morning — it’s the kind of room you never want to leave. And being steps from the beach made it feel like the perfect staycation.||Behind the scenes, Cassandra took care of so many details to make everything flow so seamlessly.|Another highlight was the spa. It truly one of the best massages and facials I’ve had in so long. Such a relaxing, rejuvenating experience.|We left already talking about when we’re coming back. We’ll be telling all our friends and family — this place is a gem.

Paying almost to $800 a night for a room, granted, it’s oceanfront, You would expect a certain level of service. We checked in late and wanted to grab some food. I asked the man at the front desk what time the kitchen was open till he said 11 PM. It was 1030. We were exhausted from traveling when we got to the restaurant they informed us to close at 10 PM. The service around the rest of the hotel is god-awful. They have one person servicing 70 people on the beach: towels, chairs, drinks the whole 9 is covered by just one person, It’s just impossible for that one poor man working to keep up with the entire beach. I went up to the restaurant to place an order for The Beach. The manager gave me a smart remark When I placed an order for food for The Beach. Then he proceeded to make my mother walk the food out To the beach because he didn’t want to get his shoes sandy. The rooms are very nice, but that’s about the only thing that’s positive about this hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay at another hotel because this one needs a serious Recommitment to strategy and customer happiness. I guarantee you a 15-year-old can run this hotel better.

I have stayed at Tideline dozens of times over 10 years, and am happy to say that it has finally reached its potential! Guest Experience Manager Ramon Benitez was such a welcome presence at check in, and he set the tone for my 4 day stay. There is no better view on the island than Tideline’s oceanfront balcony! Loved every second of Palm Beachy luxury from sunrise to dark. The new restaurant, Amalfi, is classy and delicious. Frank was my server and he helped me choose the perfect Italian dinner and cocktails. He is not only knowledgeable of all the food and beverages that Tideline has to offer, but is extremely likable and professional. I have known him for years at Tideline. There was live entertainment on the oceanfront patio Thursday night and it was warm with a gentle breeze, strung lights, and the most beautiful singer giving us her all for several hours. I learned she is local and I’m so glad Tideline found her- please make Leslie Rich a common theme this season! She has the voice of an angel and put on such a classy performance, taking requests as she sang under the stars. It was, without a doubt, the best night I have ever experienced at Tideline. Thank you for stepping up your game in Palm Beach! Isaiah at the beach was also excellent. I’m loving the whole new look and feel Tideline and I’ll be back again soon!

Nonexistent, indifferent service - we sat and waited 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge us in restaurant - my husband finally had to go into the bar asking if anyone works there and if we can please have a menu? Employees just standing around - server comes out with a water pitcher, never comes to our table, still no "hello," let alone a menu or an interest in taking our order. We politely asked again if we could place an order? Finally we just got up and left. What a shame, it's a lovely view - it you are going to charge these prices, get your act together and teach some basic customer service to your employees, or just close the restaurant.

We got the day room (check in 9am, checkout 5pm), and it was definitely worth it. We had a great stay-cation. The resort itself is nice, trendy, clean, the hotel staff were all really friendly. We just had a great time overall.

I am here now and this hotel is a huge disappointment. I am here for work so the choice was made for me. The showers I've taken have been luke warm at best. I've had problems with my key cards not working, twice. I waited at their restaurant for 30 minutes this morning and finally went to the front desk to ask it the restaurant was open and was told I had to order there, at the front desk, which was weird. This is an old building with only two elevators, one of them is currently out of service, and it is very slow. The only one of the issues that the front desk isn't aware of, which I will mention tomorrow, is the lack of hot water. The bed is ok. The closet is very small and not long enough to have a dress hang in it. I am not a fan of the layout of the bathroom and find it very small. They could have made the rooms slightly smaller to make the bathroom bigger. I haven't used it but I also find it strange that the pool is essentially in their parking lot. This is not a good value at all. Some staff have been good to deal with while others have been ok. I won't stay here again.

We booked a day pass for a Bachlorette party and it was everything we hoped for! Jeremy was very attentive at the pool and on the beach with our service. The amenities were great even on a chillier day. I would recommend a chill spa day after a night out!

I had the most relaxing time dining and having cocktails with a friend on the hotel patio. There was a remarkable singer ( Leslie Rich) who created the BEST ambiance for the guests. We sat on comfy couches around a fire table by the ocean as we listened to soothing songs by the most engaging musician. |Perfect evening!!!!|Comfortable, welcoming staff, nature and live sweet music. |This bespoke combination of music and nature is a local treasure.

I recently stayed at the Tideline and had a delightful experience. The resort's location is unbeatable. It's situated right on the beach, offering stunning ocean views and easy access to the sand and surf. The convenience of taking the elevator down and stepping directly onto the beach in seconds is a major highlight. The beach itself is fantastic, with soft sand and gentle waves. I loved seeing the friendly doggos walking by and frolicking in the water. You also get to witness a fantastic sunrise over the Atlantic. Brandon's, the on-site restaurant, is just steps from the sand. It offers a great dining experience with delicious food and a beautiful view of the ocean. It's a wonderful place to enjoy a meal while listening to the waves. I had the classic Eggs Benedict, which was nicely prepared. My breakfast waitress, Arlin, provided very prompt service, which added to the positive dining experience. The recently renovated guestrooms were upscale yet conservatively decorated, with plenty of espresso pods, which was much appreciated. I had a partial ocean view, which still provided a wonderful view of the water. One standout moment was my check-in experience with Edwin. He was cheerful, and we had a good laugh, which set a welcoming tone for my stay. His friendly demeanor and helpfulness were much appreciated, especially when he went out of his way to get me some ice. The service overall was even better than expected, and the beach attendant was very considerate, ensuring that I had everything I needed for a comfortable day by the ocean, including a side table, water, and cups. In summary, the Tideline offers a beautiful beachfront location and some nice updates. Everything was quality, from the service to food to the room. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for the unbeatable beachfront location and the positive changes from the renovation.

June 7, 2024 - Update to previous review: Not only was the entire stay a disappointment, but they are also trying to charge us for things we did not use. I was looking at my credit card bill and noticed an additional charge for $144.45. I called the hotel to find out what the charge was for and they said it was for items taken from their mini bar. That is interesting since we did not use anything from their minibar and the items they said we used were not even in the room. When I informed them of that their only response was "we're sorry but those items were taken so we have to charge you". We were not the ones who took them so it is just our word against theirs but that just shows how either inept they are that they didn't restock after the previous people who stayed in our room but think they did, or how dishonest they are that they will just charge people because there is no way to prove otherwise. Don't stay here. May 24, 2024 - What a disappointment. We are staying here as part of a wedding block of rooms and even with the discounted rate the hotel is not worth it much less at full price. There are no amenities, not even the ones their website lists as having. You have to go to the lobby to get ice, the "Italian linens" they advertise are too small for the bed so are not fitted and are coming off, the safe doesn't work and our ocenview king room only has a view of trees and another building behind them. You would think for the amount of money this place charges they would at least try to live up to their photos and claims. Don't waste your rime and money staying here.

Horrible manager bibi. They mislead you with false advertising by saying they give you free upgrade and they dont nor do they give you any credit as it just depends on how the Manager bibi feels that day! there is a spa and they confirm spa appointments and then cancel spa appointments same day as arrival but wont let you cancel room. They she gets mad if your upset! Bibi should be fired as she has Horrible customer service abilities

This place is a true gem! Beachfront with nice rooms just recently renovated so everything is super modern and clean. The service is also awesome everyone from the front desk to the restaurant staff is just super nice polite and wanting to make sure that you are happy. Not to mention I just had the best sushi I've ever had in my life at the sushi bar. If you sit there ask for Sam he will take care of you. Please come try this place.

Pros: Nice hotel. Good location. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Drink & food service avail on beach. Iron & ironing board in room. Magnified make up mirror on wall in bathroom. His/her robes. Fridge & mini bar in room. Cons: No joke, you have to run shower 15 min. before getting hot water. Room 301 right next to housekeeping (very noisy). Walk in showers do not have a step or lip therefore all the water runs out onto bathroom floor. No blow dryer. Pool is across from parking lot (odd).

This spot has so much potential! How could it not? Palm Beach Island, but also just North of Lake Worth, it's well within biking distance from downtown Lake Worth. Next door to the Four Seasons, yet a much more accessible vibe. The back patio is primo, beachfront, to dine at. When that was available. I've never stayed here myself, just visited hotelgoers and dined at then-Brandon's on the back porch. Oh, and I might have gone swimming in the pool and hot tub in my youth, as it is conveniently located in the front parking lot. Bikes, beaches, swimming pools. I wanted to bring people here for dinner service recently and was sad to see that Brandon's is only open now for breakfast and Mizu is not currently open. Looking forward to being able to dine here again and enjoy beautiful beachfront dining.

Rooms and service are good. But if you want to take food/drinks to the beach like any other beach I have ever visited forget about it. They will stop you and say you can only have what you buy from them (no cooler on the beach). Dumbest rule I have ever heard at a beach.... WILL NOT BE STAYING AGAIN.

Surprised my wife and sister in law with a 80 min massage, hot stone , body scrub, and everything extras they offered . Treated them to a lunch and they had an amazing experience. The staff was excellent. The food was excellent. Service above and beyond!!!! Clean and great ambiance they had a DJ playing and a great brunch and lunch menu. I'm

Very disappointing. The hotel is dated and smelly. Air conditioning rattles loudly in the furnishings are modest and cheap. The checkin experience was sub-standard. I arrived last night and was given my key and told my room number. Nothing but a plastic key-no materials of any sort listing hotel amenities etc. after searching unsuccessfully for my room on the designated floor, I returned to the front desk thinking I must have misheard the room number since the signage did not include my room number. I was advised that indeed I had the right room number but the signage for my floor was wrong and failed to include the ocean front room I had booked-401-412 in one direction and 414-whatever in the other direction. "Just find 212 and you'll be next door!" This morning I looked without success for materials that included information about hotel amenities including room service-nothing. A call to the front desk informed me that I would need to go to the website-nothing in the room to lead me in that direction, it wasn't that the hotel folio of amenities was inadvertently missing from the room, there just was simply not any description of restaurants, spa services, etc or a note directing me to the website to research what might be available and no labels on the phone which might connect me with those or any other services of the hotel. I feel like I'm in a bad movie! After perusing the website, I see a mention of room service but no instructions as to how I might access that service or what might be available if I did. As I sit here in my over-priced Motel 6-like room with the air conditioner fan singing a loud vibrating refrain I think how unfortunate it is that i've got one more pre-paid night at this hotel. There won't be another one for me after this experience.

Yes yes yes !! Beautiful hotel , amazing staff , luxurious grounds and ocean front . I can't wait to visit again .

Guys and gals...I almost gave this place 2 stars. I gave it 3 because of Bob at the front desk that was trying his absolute damndest to make our experience better. If you want to disconnect from the world and get away from any good service and or wifi come to this place because their wifi doesn't work. Neither do the jets in the tubs of the suites. We had an upgraded suite with a king as well and it was tiny! Not worth the price. I'm sorry. I really hope to be able to come back and give this place a better review as we were told there will be renovations happening over the next 2 years. This resort, in my opinion, should only be your last resort when looking for somewhere to stay around here. Cute town, walked to Benny's On The Beach, just wished we would have stayed somewhere else.

I was excited to come here for my 25 year wedding anniversary. It looks really nice online and when you arrive. But, something I noticed as soon as we walked into the hotel is that there is still A LOT of upkeep that needs to be done. Almost every corner, every wall, every edge of every surface is scuffed, broken, worn, chipped, or in some way damaged by luggage or just years of wear and tear. I have pictures included to show the extent of the damage. Beyond that, we were only staying for one night. Since my husband is a Bonvoy Elite member we were able to get an early check in and a late check out. The room was nice. It had a beautiful ocean view and nice balcony with chairs to sit on. There was the same wear and tear in the room as the rest of the hotel. We decided to go down to the beach. Unfortunately it was very windy that day and it started to rain, so we didn't get to enjoy the beach. We went back to the hotel and found that the bar has an excellent happy hour deal. Half off of some beers, wines and liquor. As well as a $10 menu for some appetizers. We had a few drinks and shot some pool while we had our drinks. The bartender was very nice but clearly overwhelmed and should have had some extra help. She was running around waiting on the people at the bar as well as the people in the restaurant. We took a walk over to see the pool and hot tub area. There was a lot of wear and tear there. Pictures are included. We returned to the room to shower for dinner. This is when the big issue that we had with the room occurred. My husband found a cockroach in the bathroom and killed it. I've only ever stayed in a hotel where I found a cockroach and it was a $60 a night motel in Venice, Florida. So that was quite shocking to us. We showered and went downstairs to have dinner at Mizu. The food was excellent! I wrote a separate review for Mizu. After dinner we returned to the room to find ANOTHER roach in the bathroom! My husband killed it. He thought perhaps they were coming through the overflow drain in the sink so he plugged it with toilet paper. They have plantation shutters in the rooms instead of curtains. The issue with this is that one of ours was broken so they didn't close all the way, so they really don't keep the sunlight out of the room. The door between the bathroom and the bedroom was also a sliding shutter and it was also broken so that we could not shut the door and have any privacy. We did enjoy time out on our balcony. We enjoyed the views. The next morning we had breakfast downstairs at Brandon's. I wrote a separate review for Brandon's. The sliding doors weren't working properly in the morning. A staff member had to come open the doors whenever someone wanted to go outside. Then the door would continue to open randomly over and over again. It was very windy so it really blew right through the restaurant since there's nothing between the doors to the beach and the restaurant directly inside. We looked at the menu for the spa but found the prices were too high for our taste. We decided to pass on any spa treatments. In summary I probably would not stay here again. There are a lot of beautiful places to stay on the beach with lots of great restaurants. This place needs to have a lot of work done, one of which is having an exterminator visit.

This hotel is well situated in Palm Beach next door to The Four Seasons. The service was horrendous. Our safe was locked and we asked 3 times to have it unlocked because we wanted to use it. Nothing. The coffee service in the room was not restocked and had tiny cups so we couldn't use it anyway. There isn't enough staff so we waited for everything we asked for. Even though we were paying $35 a day for valet, on checkout the attendant gave us the key and told us to get it ourselves instead of bringing it around to load our luggage. I'm still trying to figure out the $50 per person per day serving charge. There was no service. Awful.

Selected this magnificently located establishment of overnight dwelling for my anniversary trip however the condition of the room and the communication with the hotel including Marriott corp has been well below expectations. The location is incredible, the rooms in poor condition. Sliding door wouldn't work, broken shower tiles, cheaply replaced features. I shared feedback with Marriott and they said the management would contact me, they have not. Several more contacts to Marriott and still no contact. This hotel is currently under construction, I'm hoping they are also reconstructing their service levels. Big props to the staff that works breakfast they were incredible, maybe they should be promoted.

I don't usually give reviews, but I would be doing future customers a disservice. First of all, this spa should not be marketing that they have a "relaxation room" because it is simply just a barely sectioned off fourier with a few chairs... no refreshments... no good zen vibes Secondly, the locker rooms are attached to the spa/the are public to the hotel lobby.:.. come on now... Third, the "sauna / steam room" = so trash All in all, don't waste your money

This is a difficult review to express. The location of this hotel couldn't be better. It photographs very well, and in its day, I am sure it was a stunning property. That being said the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Possibly the best I've ever dealt with. The resort is clean, quiet and has amazing views. But needs major renovation and repairs, it's just worn out. Shower head fell off while showering, the handheld shower head wouldn't shut off. A/C was stuck at 65 degrees and not able to be adjusted, the sliding door to the balcony wouldn't shut or latch properly, fan in the bathroom was inoperable. View off the balcony was interrupted by a shredded canvas roof on a dilapidated gazebo. We were only in the hotel 9 hours, late check-in, early departure to catch an early flight. And in that time frame this many issues. Many can be overlooked, but sadly not at this price point.

Save your time!! Literally If you want to wait 2 hours for tasteless, uncooked food that wasn't even your first option, this place is for you! Don't waste your time on ordering the burger, they're most likely out and won't tell you until you've been waiting for 90minutes. Want a watered down drink? You MAY receive one after a 40 minute wait but I wouldn't count on it. But don't worry! Instead of paying to stay here as a guest, feel free to walk on over to their private beach without paying for a room and order all the burgers you want just so you can receive better service, food and drinks without the cost of being an actual guest that pays to be here! Apparently there isn't security so it's a free for all for locals who want to enjoy a day at the beach and Tideline Pool! The people who do work here, are working as hard as possible, they're trying their best but this place is just awful Check out my chicken(less) wrap

it's the worst. lights don't work, the paint is peeling, the elevator sounds like it's going to breakdown. The hallways are dark and the room is sterile and dank. $600 a night. what a waste!!! I'm writing to Marriott directly with photos!!!

It's hard to be objective after reading so many reviews of other disappointed guests, but I'd like to share my own first-hand observations, coming from someone who just returned from a equally lackluster experience at the Fairmont Orchid on the Big Island of Hawaii last week, where I spent over $5,000 for a 3-night stay on an experience that fell far short of expectations. First, about expectations: The price of Tidelands rooms compared to other lodging in the area should be taken into account. Literally right next door, the Four Seasons is charging over $1,700 for their LEAST costly room. Let me assure you right now--the Tideline is NOT the Four Seasons and for that matter, NOT a luxury resort. Indeed, the Tidelines is not a resort. It is a boutique hotel on a beach for which we paid $400 per night. Spoiler alert, Tidelines is not in Palm Beach as I thought it was before booking. Start with your expectations there and make adjustments as necessary below. The hotel is a throwback to when boutique hotels began springing up in the late '90's and early '00's. Dark mood lighting, main lobbies on the second floor, hip instrumental music in the lobby, small rooms that feature frustrating "form-over-function" design, etc. All of that. The design aesthetic is very much dated and tired. To others' complaints about the photos not being representative of actual condition of furnishings, amenities, I would probably agree to an extent; however, I would stop short of calling the photos deceptive. Rooms and views do vary. Our room is ocean view with balcony is exactly as advertised, so no complaint there. If other rooms that are billed as ocean or partial ocean views are not, I cannot comment first-hand, but that would be unforgivable in my view. I did not get the sense, as others have, that the room was not clean. Being south Florida and truly, right on the beach, the humidity, mold (we didn't see any) an "slippery" floors from humidity or ocean mist (we leave our sliding door open to hear the waves) are to be expected. No, the beach location does not justify a dirty room--Im just saying our room was clean and comfortable, although threadbare. Not a luxury room by any means. Few amenities. No in-room coffee (but really good free coffee in lobby served until at least 11:00 a.m.) Unfortunately, coffee service in lobby turned out to be inconsistent during our stay, one day, empty and filthy with trash and crumbled napkins, the next day, fine, etc. Deferred maintenance? Absolutely. The Tideline is in need of an overhaul--both from a design and functionality standpoint. It is hard to say how much of the hotel's condition is due to a lack of financial resources or just bad timing (pandemic)--as perhaps Tidelines was due for a facelift, but the pandemic changed those plans due to lack of contractors, supply chain difficulties, skyrocketing materials prices, and labor shortage. I suspect strongly this hotel is a Marriott/Bonvoy licensee that has not been inspected lately by Marriott, as I do believe Tideline does not meet the standards required in Marriott's licensing agreements from the standpoint of the physical facilities. For that matter, I don't consider Tidelines as meeting those high standards, either. Our service both at check-in and in the dining facilities met our expectations. No problem here, but like everywhere else, including the Fairmont Orchid (see that review), most staffers lack experience and were hired recently and appear to be in training. Not uncommon right now, nor unexpected. No service trip-ups is a win. We had favorable experience with our complimentary breakfast. Basic full breakfast fare met expectations, but did not exceed them. Beautiful setting for breakfast indoors and outside on ocean facing deck. No buffet currently offered during our stay, although the menus provided indicate that buffet used to be an option, perhaps pre-Covid. I understand for many people, $300-$400 nightly deserves high expectations, but on this island, presently, it seems to be at the low end of the price range, so again, keeping my expectations reasonable. One reviewer is correct and I will also point out, I didn't realize Tidelands (or the Four Seasons next door) is not in Palm Beach. It's not far away by car, though. The Tideline is in Lake Worth Beach, but is on "the island", 7 miles south of Palm Springs. About a 15-20 minute drive. Not walkable. Its distance to Palm Beach would lead me to select superior lodging either IN Palm Beach (like the Colony or the Breakers) next time - or another nice beach community elsewhere like in Boca Raton or even Juno Beach? Was Tidelines the worst experience ever? No. Could it have been better in many respects? Absolutely. Its physical condition was most distracting.

In pictures this resort looked pretty freakin great. We had bought a day pass to use the resort pool, beach access, hot tubs and spa. First things first, the staff was exceptional. There's something to be said about that. The food was also very delicious. And Rosie the bartender was lovely! So here are my negatives. The hot tub was not hot and there was trash (bottles and cans) in the waterfall pool in front of the hot tub. The cabana areas as seen in the pictures were closed for "renovation" but found that they have been closed for three years. The locker rooms were very small. The showers were very dirty and you need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. They do however offer soap but in bar form which to me was really gross. I am not sure how the hotel rooms are because we didn't stay overnight. I don't think We will be coming back anytime soon.

I stayed at the Tideline hotel and spa: I have to say the beach was a wonderful experience but staying there was Not!! The room was dirty along with bugs smashed to the ceiling the shower and bathroom walls with hand prints everywhere. The furniture needed to be cleaned . The pool area was dirty, The place looks deserted nothing was clean, the outside patio needed to be cleaned and pressure washed, it looked like the place was deserted. I will not come back, I will not recommend it I'm very sorry but not a very good experience. My overall feeling is that no one cared about it, every little detail there were no employees to take care of this location, it was empty for a long time and they should have enough time to clean it up! This is not my usual post but I was so disappointed.

I checked in and the air conditioner in my room was so loud there was no way I would be able to sleep. There was also no chair at the desk and I needed to be able to work. The front desk clerk heard me and immediately switched my room. When I went to bed in my second room, the lock on the balcony door didn't work nor did the deadbolt. I waiting for an hour at 10 pm for maintenance to fix it. The next day I returned to my room only to find my key wouldn't open my door. Maintenance couldn't figure it out for 2 hours. I asked the front desk clerk to make it right, and she called the manager. The manager (Bebe) told me it's not her fault. I left for another hotel. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel. Basic expectations were not met, and Bebe, the manager, acted as though I had no right to complain. The front desk clerk, Caress, is the only thing this hotel has going for it. She was lovely and tried her best but when she tried to escalate it to her manager (Bebe), any chance of saving it evaporated. Horrible experience all around (except for Caress).

This review is really to highlight some of the exceptional staff at the resort. A very, very special thank you to Carlos from Housekeeping. I think he is a supervisor in that department, and a true superhero to our three year old son! Carlos found out son's most beloved stuffed animal that had been taken away with all the sheets by accident during housekeeping. Honestly, I can't believe Carlos saved this little sheep from all the linen--it truly shows how meticulous, intelligent, and thoughtful he is as a human being. We really can't say thank you enough to him for what he has done for our little boy. My husband has stayed at numerous Marriott properties over the years, and he says that Carlos' professionalism is truly remarkable. Thank you, Carlos!! Next I want to thank Monica from dining. She is also a supervisor and she is so kind and wholehearted in her interactions with us, especially our second boy, who is just a baby. He loved interacting with her. Overall, the staff is wonderful.

So I saw on the Palm Beach Daily News that the hotel is closer for renovations. I've been following this since I booked in June. Today, 30 days before my trip I check again. Palm Beach Daily News says planned opening "mid-November". So I checked the Marriott website which has an alert saying it's still closed. I decided to reach out to Marriott to confirm my reservation and they say the hotel will be closed until 12/31. I coming from New Hampshire and was supposed to stay 12/7-12/11 for a cruise that departs from Palm Beach 12/11. I again reiterate that I had to reach out to Marriott to find out this reservation was cancelled. No contact from Marriott or Tideline. So I would've gotten off a plane on December 7th and had no where to go. I'm now in the process of trying to find a new place to stay and get compensated for this vital error by Marriott and Tideline. Maybe Jeff Greene, 123rd richest person in America should work on his customer service skills. I've also reached out to the Palm Beach Daily News with this exact information so other guests don't get stranded.

I will never stay here again!!! When we checked in, we were asked "are you aware the hotel is under construction?" No we weren't! The website didn't indicate and there was no way to know until it was too late. Then...all 3 days there was no hot water! Only cold showers available. The water in the pool was warmer! Restaurant was way overpriced with an extremely limited menu that never changed. Overall, given what the hotel charges per night, a complete disappointment and wasted vacation!!!!!!

The staff are rude, condescending and 3rd rate. No wonder why this property struggles. Save your $$$$$ for somewhere else

I had a terrible experience at this hotel and would not recommend it. If I could gibe it negative stars I would. The pool and HOT TUB were ice cold. The condition was very poor with peeling paint and a sink that leaked all night. The doors were also loud and made slamming noises. To make matters worse, there were two cockroaches in our room and we immediately checked out. The manager promised to follow up with us, but never did despite multiple calls and messages. The price of over $650 per night is unreasonable considering the poor quality of the establishment. I had to send all my belongings to the laundry as I was afraid of carrying any cockroach eggs. Avoid this hotel.

This is a gem. Great vibes, super kind staff, the beach is NUTS and this is where I'll be staying from now on. Weirdness re:bad reviews.

One of the worst places I've ever stayed, we travel all over the country dirty they tried to scam us on an ocean view room then pushed us to another room that the plumbing didn't work... We just found out that I have to leaving they charged us the full rate for two days so I'm in the battle with that... The food is gross the people are lazy I don't think that was a Marriott back in the day it's disgusting

I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and was appalled at how terrible it was. If I hadn't booked it through HotelTonight where it was non-refundable, I would have left the night I checked in. The lobby floors and reception desk were both filthy. The front desk staff was not friendly, welcoming, or helpful. The room was not at all like the pictures, no colorful pillows or canopy over the bed, very limited art and decor which made for a very dark and unwelcoming experience. The bed had one very thin blanket and the mattress was lumpy and uneven. The amount of deferred maintenance throughout both the room and the hotel was shocking. . . the toilet paper holder that was torn out in the bathrooms by the pool and was moved lower in the wall and the previous holes were just left there, never patched, there were a great deal of missing tiles from the pool sidewalls, there were holes in the bedroom wall from where pictures were previously hung, scuff marks all over the walls, light switches askew. The chairs in the room were also filthy. I even changed rooms and still the chairs had stains all over them. The bathroom door would not close and there were finger prints all over the glass doors to the shower and the toilet. The restaurant staff, even when not busy, seemed confused as to how to greet and seat people, I stood waiting for a long time both times I ate at the restaurant and staff just walked past without greeting or asking if I needed a table. The lights in the restaurant are so dark, I had to use my phone to see the menu and then ironically the lights in the room were so fluorescent, I felt like I was walking into a corporate office building from the 90s. The AC in the room also clicks on and off constantly and is incredibly loud, it constantly jolted me out of sleep throughout the night, but if I turned it off, the room was of course sweltering. Overall this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The only redeeming qualities of this hotel were the location, yay for both a pool and access to the beach, and the sushi bar had excellent rolls. Even so, I would trade both for a clean, welcoming, and comfortable room! Although not outrageous at $450/night, I would have expected much much more. A Super 8 would have been a better choice! Even with the excellent sushi, I would prefer to give this hotel zero stars and rate the sushi separately as not to encourage patronage to this place. Yes, it really is that bad. Even with dated decor, this place has potential based on location alone if only they would put in a modicum of care and effort in to managing it.

Going to the Tideline for lunch was the biggest mistake. The food was disgusting. The fries were cold, the chips were stale, the cheese on the pizza wasn't even melted. We sent was was bad back and said we weren't paying and to bring the check. When the check came the server threw the check in the table and said "I believe you said you were getting the f**k out of here." This place is going into the gutter very quickly. If I could give it ZERO stars I would. An embarrassment of an establishment. I wish I took pictures to add to this to review. It could be a really nice place but it's run down and the management sucks. Time to clean house...I mean HOTEL.

NEVER AGAIN. The view was beautiful, but when booking we were not informed about the construction going on in the whole hotel. Pulling up to the resort we could see things being done but did not know what. We understand updates need to be done to Hotels/Resorts, but this was beyond ridiculous. The only restaurant open was the Breakfast/Brunch and Bar. Half way into our stay we got a phone call from the front desk letting us know that EVERYONE staying at the Resort was being kicked out and everyone had to be out with a 24 hour notice. We live states away and were left figuring something out on our own. Not knowing what to do next. We spent almost a whole day of our honeymoon trying to find somewhere else to stay for the remainder of our trip. There was not a manager or owner on site to help the employees nor guest with ANY of these issues. The resort themselves should be informing guest booking stays about this information before taking someone's money.

The hotel staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating. We were very well taken care of. Had a great room and view, beautiful cabana breakfast, and a lot of fun. Special thank you to Vicky and Becca for going above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional!

Nice hotel in that the location is very good on South Ocean Blvd. A block or two from Lake Blvd that takes you back across the bridge to dine, shop or get to I 95. Good beach location meaning the beach is wide and easy access from the deck of the hotel. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The hotel is "tired" looking and needs a face lift. It is not particularly a nice facility, rather it is adequate. But, the mattress in our room (no idea if all of them) was terrible. Worn out, lumpy and very uncomfortable. At the very least they should invest in new bedding. Food was good.

Had a beautiful thanksgiving dinner with my father. Wonderful staff and amazing service. Delicious food and great drink selection.

This hotel is not a good place to go right now .. looks so beautiful in the website but once you get there is very sad .. they don't care about COVID at all ... and you don't feel like you are in a hotel that is part of the Marriott at all . It security, not restaurants open , lot people that are there not guest , garbage everywhere , boxes of pizza left overnight , you need to get your own towels for the beach from the front guest , no one to help you at the beach, cleaning supplies left at bear for everyone to see, pool bathrooms with not toilet paper and very dirty, garbage cans full at the pool , sand in the lobby .. people that were working were not nice but seems like they didn't care at all .

If I could give no stars I would!!! First we book and pay thru a third party app to stay from 10/12-10/14 when we arrive they recharge us for 2 nights an extra $581!!! Then it's $100 a night incidental fee should have been $200 they charge us $290 , an extra $90. So that's $680 by accident!!!! We wake up to see a new charge on our card and call to talk to someone on 10/17/21, The front desk person Monica on 10/17/21 who has the worst customer service ever was rude and did not care to hear anything we where trying to say. Her response was she'll have a manger call us. I WILL NOT EVER WANT TO STAY AT THIS RESORT EVER AGAIN.!!!!!! Also they did not have room service to clean our rooms. They should learn customer service because it is a serious joke when they say they are a resort. Hope everyone learns from our mistake!! Don't go Jim D Wellington Fl

OK hotel, way over priced for the little amount that you get. Some things need to be updated like the shower grout. The hot tub and pool bottoms also need spruced up. Shampoo and conditioner are not great, it's really cheap shampoo, take your own if you love your hair like I love mine. Floor in hotel room feels gross when you walk on it with bare feet. Employees are really nice and if I could rate them alone I would give them 5 stars, but the review is based on the atmosphere as well. Some things appear to have been updated recently. The bar/restaurant appear pretty and clean. The hotel looks sleek when entering the lobby. I say this place is so/so. They could do little things to make it better. Better trial size brands in the restrooms - New grout in bathrooms and updated faucets in showers would also greatly improve the look!

Everyone who gave this place a one-star is correct... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT THIS PLACE! Worst hotel stay in history. Thank God we were only here for one night! Something was always done wrong left and right and the front desk staff had the nerve to argue even though they were the ones that messed up. There was one front desk staff who was especially rude and should not be in customer service in my opinion... good luck to this place because they need a lot of it.

Excellent customer service and they know the word of empowerment. First let me mention Steve Santiago, Kaitlyn Lawson, Jerosha, Tajahna Haven, Monica and Zelda. They are all superstars when it comes to customer service. There was always a friendly smile followed by a good morning or a good evening. They provided assistance with whatever I needed. The food was good on all levels from the Brandon the restaurants. It was quiet and and calm away from anything noisy. Which was exactly what I wanted. I will return to this hotel with family because they enjoyed everything as well. I cant wait to come back after the renovation is completed. It's just a good hotel that is tucked away on the island.

I cannot imagine anyone giving this facility anything above one star ( which is being very generous) unless this property belongs to someone you know!! What a dilapidated, unkept, rundown excuse for a resort. From the moment you enter the property you are overcome with the dismal, lackluster decor. The hotel is actually situated on the beach which is wonderful for vacationers.... right??? Not here. There are zero signs of light within the facility not natural and not artificial.t Light is lacking in the entrance, at the bar, at the restaurant and certainly in the rooms. The bathroom is appalling to say the least!!!! It does not even begin to offer the bare essentials needed for basic grooming needs. And to advertise this hotel as an autograph property of Marriott hotels is not only false advertising but it is fraudulent to the consumer.

Don't, just no. My wife's dinner arrived after my son and I had finished our meals. The food was tasteless, the service was abysmal, the manager was absent. We should have left when my son had to go to the bar to get the first round of drinks. The true measure is would we ever go back? Never!

My rating would have been a 10 , my husband got us a ocean view balcony room for my birthday . At the Check in time 4 pm , room was not ready . They told us they would give us a call when room ready . 4:30 we go back to the check in counter , room still not ready , but in addition to that , they have decided to downgrade our room from the balcony ocean view to , partial ocean view without the balcony and still have to pay for the same rate . We asked them , why did anyone call us and given us a heads up with the down graded room ? The young lady said "well we didn't have any phone number on file " "oh wait , you booked through us online ... we'll we didn't have phone number to contact you , here is a voucher for few drinks " First , we tried to check in twice and room was not ready .. at that time they had a chance to let us know we were down graded Second , booking online through Marriott anyone that stays at the Marriott they know they get your contact info , phone , email .. So sad , we loved the location , but never returning back with this terrible service .

This past weekend at the Tideline was amazing. The service was great and food even better! Highly recommend getting the romance package if you are a couple (chocolate strawberries, 3 course dinner and couples massage). There were a couple bumps but with how wonderful the customer service was, we really didn't care. AC didn't work in our first room and within minutes they had us set up in another room so that we could make our dinner reservation. The balcony walls were a little scuffed up but who is spending so much time in their room when the beach is foot steps away?! And Brandon's was beyond delicious, staff very attentive and view was breathtaking. If you want to break up the meals, Bennys on the Beach is walking distance! Not to mention this resort is pet friendly!!! Highly recommend.

I've been staying with the Marriott group now for about 12 years and I hold the highest levels in their loyalty program. We were treated so poorly at this hotel it was insane! From poor service and attitudes with the servers to attitudes with the front desk staff and lies to cover up their poor service and attitudes! GM said they'd Calle some to resolve, that was also a lie!! They charged the wrong amounts on credit cards and then won't get back to us to fix the amounts!! Stay away from this hotel!! There is a reason it has such a low rating on here!! Listen to the masses!!

Underwhelming. The website pictures are deceiving. It's a nice-ish hotel but not at the price they market themselves. The dining room food was good but the service was terrible. They purport to have room service, but they don't. The rooms have a little more wear and tear than I would have expected. For the price, I would stay somewhere else. The spa service was good but the locker room was lacking.

upon first arriving the room we were out in was 80 degrees and was rising after turning the ac on. they moved us rooms, but unfortunately missed the Stevie nicks concert because of the situation. how would a maid not notice a room being 89 degrees is beyond me. they moved us to another basic room and then after talking to Terry (the manager-who is amazing) got us upgraded to a suite so now this being the third time we had to move rooms just to get there and unpack all of our stuff for THE THIRD TIME in two days they rooms was infested with spiders everywhere. We sprayed the room down to kill them because BOB at the front desk is probably the rudest person you will ever talk to. he in an entitled prick who clearly is just mad at the world. loved to lecture and argue with guests, it's disgusting he should definitely find career that isn't considered hospitality because he has zero manners or common sense. good and staff were great other than Bob of course. random charges were on our card and the room rate was a lie. so yeah if you want to spend more time packing up your stuff and moving it than you do actually enjoying your vacation then definitely stay here.

When I made the reservation I was told since we wanted a bigger room it could only be partial ocean view. Upon arrival we realized "partial view" meant staring at another hotel's wall and if you hang off the balcony and use binoculars you can get a glimpse of the ocean behind the palm trees. We were given a handicapped room, which I never requested. The room was outdated and next to an elevator (understandable for someone with accessibility issue but we didn't request or needed to hear that all night). On our second day the manager agreed to switch us to a smaller room but at least with a view. While i was at the conference we were contacted about the possible new room, by the time my elderly father gathered our suitcases and carried them down himself they told him that they gave the room away. I spent a good amount of my conference time being on the phone with the hotel personnel and my frustrated parents. Eventually Ms. Casey Johnson kindly followed up on our situation and provided us with a dinner voucher. Although greatly appreciated, unfortunately no amount of dinner and dessert can take away the bitter taste this experience left with us. For future please be transparent with your customers about what "partial ocean view" truly means. Your international seasonal hired team are wonderful and genuine. Your day managers however need some customer service retraining. Please refer to the images to get a better understanding of the reality of this facility. Tideline Resort is an overall good experience for the money that you pay. It is cheaper than the average resort and you get exactly what you pay for. A beautiful resort with wonderful views and random quirks that are slightly inconvenient. The pool was the best part. Wonderful water temperature and a very resort feel. I have put the pros and cons below. PROS: - Nice looking rooms & big shower with detachable hose - GREAT location - Beautiful pool with great water temperature (not by the beach btw) - Seats and umbrellas with a walk up beach - Staff was absolutely great, everyone we talked to was helpful and kind CONS: - Very expensive restaurant with limited selection - No refrigerator or microwave in the room - Slow room service (towels and buckets of ice requests can take 20-30mins)

The food, phenomenal. The location, beach, awesome. The rooms, dated. Front desk staff, older blonde woman, not friendly. Never saw her crack a smile, at all.
