Seriously amazing and delicious Colombian restaurant in Queens. Definitely a hidden gem!! I've been to other places in Queens and by far Tienda Vieja exceeds the others. Everything was cooked to perfection and was so satisfying. This was one of those meals that leave you so happy and comforted lol. We will absolutely be back. Kudos to the chef for a delicious meal. 👏👏👏

Google
We always order there picadas for take out. Today was our first time dining in to celebrate my mother's birthday. Food was delicious. The staff was very kind and provided us with great service. Definitely will be coming back again.

I have only had the 'picada" which can easily feed two people. It's made to perfection. Not overfired. the green and red sauces that you get on the side enhances the flavor. This plate is not only delicious but affordable. The restaurant is always clean the staff is friendly.

Came here after work with some coworkers. It was a nice little place; I got the Picada Tienda Vieja with a beer. I'd like to go back and try something different. It was a huge portion that I couldn't finish and took home. It didn't really work well as leftovers, but I did use the leftover meats.

Google
Went with my wife to try it out and we were not disappointed. Chorizo and salad was excellent. Had also the homemade soup with beef and sweet plantains which was phenominal. The Bistek salteado was insanely good "off the charts" with deliciiusness!!! Service was excellent as well with a friendly server who made us feel welcome and gave us great customer service. Nice big spacious clean restaurant decorated nicely. Ended with some Colombian coffee which was noce and strong and flavorful just as we wanted it. Were too full for dessert but next visit for sure we will try some as they have a big selection to choose from as well. We really enjoyed every dish we ordered and had a relaxing and satisfying evening out. 5 star rating for excellence!!

Google
Their "Colombian Empanadas" were a joke, honestly. I don't even know what they were. They taste disgusting. Seriously so bad. They should be embarrassed. How do they sell this? Never again and such a waste of money. 🤢 🤮

Google
This place is great to bring a family. Good food, good portion sizes per plate, and good pricing. I fed my family of 4 under $100 and had leftovers for the next day! And the staff are nice.

Google
It was my 1st time at this Colombian restaurant and I was very pleased with the food and service. The atmosphere was pleasant. I was amazed with the size of the food plates had the sancocho and picada tienda vieja was enough for 2 and I ended taking the leftover. My server named was Carla and she was very attentive and friendly. My husband and I highly recommend you to come and check them out. We will be back again!!!

Yelp
I had just finished running errands I'd been putting off all summer when on the way home I was suddenly hit by a random craving for fried foods but not fried chicken so I was thinking, why not fried pork? Then I started looking up places near me that had chicharron on the menu and Tienda Vieja came up on the search. It's small restaurant on a street corner tucked away in a residential area of Fresh Meadows and I actually drove past it at first because it didn't catch my attention right away. I was surprised that despite it being located in a residential area, I actually wasn't able to find parking in the immediate vicinity... I had to park 2.5 blocks away (which isn't bad either). I went during dinner rush hours but only two tables were occupied and it appears most customers order to-go either by phone or via delivery apps. I ordered at the counter in Spanish and after 15 minutes of awkward waiting in front of the staff, my food was finally ready for pickup. I was still pretty full from a late lunch so all I really wanted was a snack to quell my cravings. In Colombian cuisine, chicharron is typically served as part of a entree like in a Bandeja Paisa/Tipica (what it's called depends on which part of Colombia you're from but both are correct and essentially the same thing) but luckily, I could get it a la carte as an appetizer order for $6 (before tax and tip). The chicharron was as crispy as I liked without being too greasy (sometimes with fried foods you see excess oil but as you can tell by my picture, this was not the case) and it also came with an arepa. The restaurant menu advertises that everything is made with low sodium and that proved to be true with the chicharron. No complaints though - the chicharron was still chicharroning. The arepa was a little thinner than the ones served by other Colombian restaurants but still tasted ok, just a tad cold. Overall, I would probably return to try other stuff on the menu.

Yelp
The food is amazing. I'll say the flan is just okay. Def come with a bigger party to share the different types of dishes they have. Their soup was so hearty. The service was kind of slow and it was hard getting the attention of the staff.

Victor H.

Yelp
Delicious Colombian food in Fresh Meadows! You can't go wrong with a Carne Asada, which is seasoned and cooked very well. I would also recommend the combination meat platter. We shared this amongst a group of 8 people along with some other entrées and we had so much left over. The first picture is the platter after we had already eaten 1/3 , forgot to take an initial picture because we were hungry. Then the next picture is the left overs. However, I would have given them 3.5 stars because the price is a bit high and the service is lacking. Nice wait staff, but I had to go up several times to grab utensils/water. But I bumped them up because of their food.

Eileen L.

Yelp
I ordered Arroz con ollo, mostly rice, but a very large serving. My friend ordered the Carne Guisada (beef stew), the beef was too tough. I would stick with the chicken stew and the pork chop, those were better. Food was plenty. I would go back to try the other food and then decide if it becomes a repeat performance place. Oh, we didn't like being charged for a take out box for leftovers.

Jen Jen A.

Yelp
I like the food here is close to home also they they a eat in section the decorations is like back in colombia. Food or always good price is reasonable only bad thing is they don't deliver that's a bummer

maria s.

Yelp
The food is ok, I usually order the bandeja.Food could be better, I find take out food is not sufficient for 1 person. Service is good.

Brenda M.

Yelp
Well we are completely disappointed since we are from Colombia and that's what we eat at home, but a lazy day comes and we'll we decided to give this a try since it's so close to my home. So let's begin.. the rice and beans are okay. The salad lacked the avocado. The yuca is wet with some kind of red adobo :/ and reheated. The chicken skin was all soggy not crispy at all. NO FLAVOR!! NOT EVEN THE SAUCES!! omg I was surprised since the employee's are also Colombian. Colombian food is full of flavor, love & pride when cooked, my father had a bottle of salt next to him smh, lest just say we will not be returning to this place. Ps get a new chef.

Elyse M.

Yelp
I'd say this is more towards like a three and a half if that were an option. My mom took me here as it is a go to for her and her friends and I've never been. Right next to a school but easy to find either paid parking next to the place or neighborhood parking. We went during lunch on a weekday - wasn't crowded. The place is more spacious than I envisioned, they can probably serve maybe 50 people at max? My mom got a fish fillet which she enjoyed. I got the platter that came with shrimp, steak, and chicken. Also ordered an arepa con queso!! Each entree came with rice and beans. I did enjoy the texture of their rice, wasn't mushy. Their beans combo had a flavor I liked together. I did enjoy my meal overall. It came with some veggies like broccoli and cauliflower, which wasn't made over the top or anything but adds a nice balance to the meal. Normally I don't tend to order baked chicken dishes outside the house, but it was seasoned well and wasn't dry at all. The shrimp had good flavor as well. The only thing I wasn't too impressed with was the steak that the combo came with, which was on the chewier side. Regardless, the meal overall was good. Three and half stars because for my meal the price was over $20, and I feel like what I got was smaller than I expected for the price. I did enjoy their arepa con queso. It had a nice crisp and the cheese tasted great on it. I'm not too certain in terms of how authentic arepas should be tasting, but all in all I found it yummy. Just felt like for me the price to what I got fell a little short. It was a good cute spot, I'd go again to try their other things!

Yelp
My college classmate used to live down the street from this gem and raved about the food, prices and portions. So we made the trek down nostalgia lane and I'm so glad she brought me here. The interior is big and cozy , you can count on a futbol game playing on the big screen. Waitress is very friendly and attentive, we ordered the Colombian sampler which comes with chicarron, steak, tostones swapped for plantains, egg and avocado and rice with a side of beans. It is a LOT of food. The steak wasn't dry and pretty flavorful, the chicarron was don't just right ... Asian people love crispy pork! And I asked for hot sauce which turned out to be housemade crack green sauce. For the price, the portions are epic compared to a lot of other places In the area but one star off for the paella. The rice was dry and the seafood was so chewy it ruined the dish. Will be back to try other Colombian staples !

Camille R.

Yelp
Our small group of 4 shared the Arroz Valenciana (and that was our only order) and we still had a small doggy bag to go at the end of our meal. The Valenciana bursts with so much flavor that everyone agreed this was the best we've tried in Queens! If there was any fault to this dish (and honestly it's not really a fault), it was there was too little rice. They put so much meat and seafood that I was tempted to order a side of rice to go with it haha. Can't wait to come back and try out other menu items!

Zee H.

Yelp
Food was excellent, a bit on the pricier side but I think we'll worth it. Waitresses were friendly, atmosphere nice. Nothing bad to say.

Raul C.

Yelp
Today was the second time I go and they closed earlier than listed. Today I showed up at 8pm and they had the door locked and the closing time is clearly posted 9pm. The first time I was there at 8:30 and the same thing happened. Change your closing time to 8pm if that's the time you want to close!

Nicole C.

Yelp
Love this spot! Food is always fresh and delicious! Perfect neighborhood restaurant, bringing a little Columbian vibe to Fresh Meadows!

Allison B.

Yelp
Very welcoming and accommodating staff. I went with my english speaking family and boyfriend. the staff speaks mostly spanish but did their best with my family and I was able to translate as well. It was busy when we went there (Thursday afternoon) & we were served rather quickly. 4/5 meals (Lencha saltada, carne asada, and arroz con pollo) were delicious. The rice and beans were good too. The fifth was the special, soup with salad, rice, and fried pork chop was mostly good, minus the pork chop. the soup was tasty and the rice was perfect but the pork chop was really dry. Overall it was a good experience, on the pricey side but not bad for a small group.

Eli A.

Yelp
Excellent service and great food . I wish they delivered I'd order from them all the time .

Terri C.

Yelp
Continue to love this place - chicken, guac, maduros, and so much more. It is very busy while ordering on the phone, but it is also an excellent restaurant. Please support all your local restaurants during this time - together we can get through this and help make it flourish. That way, we can continued to be satisfied by excellent food choices.

Carol C.

Yelp
Love it here! We go every Thursday after school with my daughter. The waitress Claudia is a sweetheart, she already knows what we like to order. Food is always fresh and delicious

Rene R.

Yelp
Excellent, fresh and flavorful Columbia's food. The waitress are so very helpful to help with explaining the menu.

Maria A.

Yelp
The place is okay the food not the greatest, I have had better in Roosevelt Ave. I normally don't ever leave a review on places but this place service is horrible. We waited for the waitress to bring a plate and an extra fork as my daughters didn't have one. We asked the waitress for an order French fries which she never brought ( I made sure I wasn't charged for it) She gives an attitude and is very rude. Yo creo que si yo fuera la mesera el servicio sería mil veces mejor. Si no les gusta su trabajo para que trabajan.

Amy M.

Yelp
Good food, good prices, easy parking and close to home...what else can you ask for? On top of that, the portions are large and they have daily specials. The sangria is really good and very loaded! Make sure to ask for the green sauce to go with your chicharron! Love the grill pork with passion fruit sauce. Also the piacada de Pollo is great platter to share! Comes with tostones and little yukon gold potatoes.

Yelp
Love this place. My family and I frequently visit here. Wide variety of food, great taste, and friendly service to go along with the lovely decor. If your in the mood for some good Colombian food, then this is the place to go to. Also a huge plus for me is that they are extremely clean.

Danielle G.

Yelp
We came here for lunch and ordered #100 which is steak, rice, beans, pork skins, sweet plantains and an egg. The hubs loved it! I ordered the beef stew that came with rice, beans and sweet plantains. I asked for the green sauce and the ahi sauce and it really made a difference. Loved it and for the price wow $9.99 per dish, how can you go wrong!?!

Jay T.

Yelp
The place is a hidden gem that is low key. The food is delicious and affordable. They make you sign in and fill form for precautionary reason due to Covid19. I would definitely recommend

Andrea G.

Yelp
came here last night starving and looking forward to a great meal. I ordered the yucca fries which came out 20 mins after ordering them and were burnt. You can tell they were refried, they were so greasy it was disgusting. For my entrée I ordered the 1/4 chicken with white rice and beans. The rice and beans were fine, the chicken was horrible. So dry with no taste. My friend called the waitress over and asked her about the chicken, she said and I quote "oh it's made in the morning and heated up for each order" How can a restaurant serve chicken like that. It was beyond bad. I might give it another try but for not they lost 2 stars with me. Needless to say we only paid for the 2 empanadas which were good and an order of tostones.

Dayanna M.

Yelp
Great authentic food. Staff is always friendly and there's ample space if you want to sit down!

Kelsey S.

Yelp
This place is hiding in fresh meadows and I found it! This restaurant is super cute in a not so busy area. It's nice having a Colombian restaurant in the neighborhood. It has lots of seating and the decor is so nice. There is parking on the street and everyone is super friendly. I ordered stewed chicken with rice and beans to go. They have everyday specials from Monday-Friday which is awesome. Decent prices around $9. Although they have whole dinners that are around $20 for other meals. They also have corona buckets for $20. Also they sell other beer and sangria which looks amazing. I will totally be going back to have dinner and a drink. The atmosphere isn't very loud and it is a great spot to check out after a stressful day. They have soups, salads, arepas, empanadas and more.

Snakemonkey S.

Yelp
First time here, place needs a serious update. Hostess or what seemed to be the hostess was sitting at a table with either family or friends and didn't even stand up to greet us. She said, "You can sit anywhere" whilst waving her hands in the air. Server was very slow in coming to us, seemed like all the attention went to the table where hostess was sitting with. Ok onto the food. Very bland, sautéed chicken with peppers and onions tasted like it was reheated. Carne asada was ok but I got it with sautéed onions. The onions were drenched with vinegar. Rice was too sticky and beans tasteless. I've been to many Colombian restaurants and to Colombia as well. I'd say that 70% of the restaurants here in the states fall way below average. Including this one. I started out with giving this place two stars but after tasting the food and such underwhelming service, I'll give it one star....and that's being generous. I am not by any means a food critic but I do come from a family with over forty years in the restaurant business and I know great service and great food when I see and taste it. This place has neither! If you want great Colombian food, go the Noches De Colombia!

Daniel M.

Yelp
great colombian food in near fresh meadows in queens. I had several items in this restaurant and the prices are right and the portions are gigantic. I start with tostones and guacamole, nice crucnhy plantains to be dipped in a creamy avocado mash...worth every penny! If you want to try pork chops and you want to eat something different Medallon de Cerdo con salsa Maracuya. Grill chops with a passion guayaba fruit sauce. I love beef tongue and they make a beef tongue platter on tamato sauce with rice beans and yuca. The beef tongue is so soft you dont even need a knife to cut it and the platter is so big, no way to finish it. Basically I end up taking it home for lunch the next day., Plato tipico is good too, rice, beans (black) chicharon, arepa and palomia steak (try it from the lunch special!) awesome chicken soup and kick ass Sangria, great for large groups and the kitchen opens late.

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
I had been craving Colombian food and saw this location on my way home. I decided to stop and give it a try. This review is based on my experience picking up food to go. I ordered 2 bandeja paisas as that is always my go to order. While the steak was cooked well, it did taste a bit bland. I'm never a fan of beans but my fiance who loves beans didn't like them as she says they were also bland. The chicharon was delicious, the plantains and rice was good otherwise. I did order the Arepa with cheese and I did enjoy that. Overall, it was ok.

Bonnie M.

Yelp
Great empanada at this spot!!! The girls here are really sweet and so eager to explain the food on the menu! They now have outdoor dining totally adhering to all the distancing protocols set forth by NY. Clean and great atmosphere!

Joseph T.

Yelp
We ordered delivery from here. The delivery was timely. We ordered the seafood paella. Great mix of seafood including shrimp, clams, mussels, and scallops. It was certainly a fair portion for the price; the dish fed three of us and there was still leftovers. I would rate Tienda Vieja three and a half stars.

Ismat C.

Yelp
Food recommendations: Bandeja Paisa, Chorizo, beef Empanadas, any soups. USE THEIR GREEN SAUCE. To die for! Morir Soñando, sangria and coffee are always good. Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5; honestly a hit or miss but I come here often so I don't hold it against them. If you're not a Spanish speaker, ordering may be a little tricky. Location: easy street parking most of the time. Shopping center and movie theater is a 3 minute drive away so perfect for date night, etc. Price: very reasonable I love this place because the food is consistently good. I could bathe in their green spicy sauce. They are generous with it for dine in (unlike places like Pio Pio that limit you). I love it so much that I've paid for a whole container of it to go and just slather it on all my food at home. I've been coming here for years and I have no intentions of stopping!

F Z.

Yelp
This food is slamming! The only restaurant In the neighborhood that reminds me of the food I grew up with. I love the red sangria and the super large portion meat plates. I am going to miss you guys! Gracias por todo!

Leann V.

Yelp
I have to admit, Tienda Vieja Colombian Restaurant was really phenomenal. Menu items are good and the staff is very friendly. Tostones was really incredible, I wanted to order everything off their menu, but glad that I went for Tostones. The service was also superb and everybody was friendly. Tienda Vieja Colombian Restaurant - It is a unique and wonderful experience.

Carlos M.

Yelp
Delicious and cozy columbina food. Thank you for making yummy food empanadas and steak with mushrooms are my favorite.

Cares A.

Yelp
Very nice ambience, I love the set up of the restaurant. The staff was great ando was the food. The best of all was the cost of eating. You get a lot of food for your buck

Oswald B.

Yelp
Only Hispanic restaurant for at least a mile radius. Colombian is the best food. I enjoy their food, a bandeja paisa is your typical plate. The price is a bit high compared to other Colombian restaurants but because of the area I see why. Overall its good food. And the girls there are very sweet.

Johnnathan M.

Yelp
So i ordered epanadas for my family ( chicken and beef ). First off the owner, Angela, absoluletly disrespectful.. we kindly called and asked why are enpanadas were not pollo and beef. They literally were filled with potato.. where is the chicken or beef. She took the question very offensive and started to yell and said "she was willing to come back to our house and give back our money if we give back the enpanadas." All we wanted was empanads with some meat... Never wanted to take it this far but buying 12 empanads for $27 with no meat is a total rip off! Everyone is better off going to a REAL AUTHENTIC COLUMBIAN RESTAURANT. NOT THIS FAKE RESTAURANT.

Adriana M.

Yelp
Great restaurant.. service was excellent and the food was delicious. We were able to view the World Cup 2018 game Colombia vs. Poland.. the crowd was excited as Colombia scored a goal. Servers kept the food coming and kept spreading the love. It was such a nice experience... perfect place to take the kids. The restaurant was full with families. A very nice atmosphere and no drama. Just good food, good service and even better soccer game to watch.

Marie C.

Yelp
They're very cheap with their aji sauce for to go orders. They claim that one small container is enough for 2 empanadas so they only have 2 small containers for an order of 4! So if I order one do I get half a container? I'be been to many Colombian restaurants and never experienced such stinginess for sauce. I had to pay $0.50 to get an extra container, beyond absurd. Other than being irrationally cheap with something that barely costs them money, the food is pretty good.

Sergio P.

Yelp
Ordered food to pick up from here for lunch and it was pretty good! I called the restaurant for the pick up order and it was ready in the 15 minutes the woman over the phone had estimated. Fast and seamless pick up. I ordered a bandeja paisa and it was as traditional as traditional could get! Everything in the order tasted great and the avocado was fresh as could be. I would definitely come back here to the actual restaurant and try something else.

Sook Kuan H.

Yelp
I feel cheated, I ordered 1/4 chicken to go ( side order) menu written $2.50 ( realized this after I left). And they asked for $4. It wouldn't $4 after tax, am I right?

Minhan S.

Yelp
This restaurant became my favorite local one! They serve humongous portion of Colombian food! I had #52. Bandeja Paisa(Rice & beans, steak, egg, pork skin, sweet plantain, and avocado) just for $11. You will see the picture of it. And you will love to see it in person. :P Our waitstaff was great and kind. The bill was light! It's definitely a place to come back!

Lisa F.

Yelp
Before I start this review i have to add a disclaimer that I do not know what Colombian food is like so I cannot comment on whether it is authentic or what is typical of this cuisine. The restaurant is located on a quiet residential area and feels very cozy and local. We came with a massive group of 20 people on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was very accommodating and the waitress was a superstar handling all the different requests and orders while being very friendly and pleasant. Since we were such a large group it took a long time to first get everyone's drink orders, then entrees and some apps. I think it took about an hour before our food finally came out. We probably overwhelmed the kitchen a bit but everyone was having a good time anyway so it wasn't a big deal. As many have mentioned the portions are humongous. They are definitely good for sharing and the prices are very reasonable. I can't remember the name of the dish we ordered, I think it was Tienda Vieja. It was basically Meatpalooza on a plate. The dish was a mountainous pile of sausage, pork ribs, pork skin, skirt steak, plantains, corncakes, and potatoes all for $13.95. I'm glad I decided to share with 2 other people because it was quite overwhelming for one person to eat alone, although there was one guy at our table who ate the whole dish on his own. I guessing he had the meat sweats for the rest of the night. The ribs were tasty but I found everything else on the platter to be over-fried and kind of dry. Luckily there were some awesome green sauces to douse the meat with. I also added a side of avocado salad ($5.50) which was also a large portion for sharing. I definitely needed some greens and roughage for all the meat we were consuming. I think the best thing I had were the empanadas. They were crispy filled with warm comforting mixture of potatoes and meat. I would definitely go back for those and try some other things on the menu that aren't so meat-centric.

Zaneta O.

Yelp
3.5 - Upon approaching the restaurant I noticed their outdoor signage had changed. No more yellow, red, and blue Colombian flag. Instead the letters are all white and lit up and the new logo above the entrance is in the shape of a house. While there was really nothing wrong with their previous sign this one is definitely more eye catching to those driving past since it is so brightly lit. It was nearly 5pm on a Thursday yet the restaurant was a ghost town. I called ahead to pick up my order so I did not have to wait. There were two waitresses on duty and as I entered they were having a grand old time signing they hearts out to the latin music that was playing at the restaurant. I liked the layout and the decor much better than the previous Quantum Leap restaurant that was in this space prior but I do still kind of miss that natural store that was attached to it next door. A few yelpers mentioned having trouble communicating with the employees. I did not encounter that issue today. The girls spoke English well enough to take my order correctly and greet me to pick up and pay but I do speak Spanish as well in case they didn't. I ordered two of the daily special platters and two empanadas and my order came up to $17.95 including tax. The portions were generous, certainly enough to feed three people because we both had some leftovers. We tried the fried chicken with yellow rice with vegetables, plantains, and beans special and the bbq ribs with white rice and french fries. I also ordered two empanadas, one chicken and one beef. I couldn't tell the difference between which one was beef and which was chicken because they both looked and tasted the same which struck me as odd so I just assumed they got it wrong and gave us two of the same. It was okay but I prefer Dominican style empanadas better due to the nice flaky dough they use and that they use ground meat and not meat that resembles some type of paste. The ribs were tender and juicy but they just seemed like they were boiled and then they drizzled some bbq sauce on them. I prefer my ribs cooked in bbq sauce on a grill. I dont consider these to be "real" bbq ribs and while they weren't bad I don't forsee myself ordering them again. The rice was fine and the fries were a little soggy since most of the bbq sauce slid off the ribs and onto the fries. The fried chicken was good but it had bones in it. I am used to boneless chunks but the menu didn't really specify. It was a combination of both white and dark meat. I would have prefered all white meat. The yellow rice was also not completely yellow. It was like they threw some sazon in it and didnt mix it well so some parts were yellower than others but the taste was fine and there was a decent ratio of veggies (peas and carrot) mixed in. The chicken was fried very well and nice and crunchy on the outside the way I like it and was nicely seasoned but I must admit I threw a dash of extra abobo on it. The plantain was great, perfectly ripe and cooked well. The beans were also tasty. For the amount of food in each platter it was definitely worth the $7 for each. I am going to try their steak and pork chops next time and see if I enjoy those more. In conclusion the food wasn't bad and this place has potential but the fact that they did not have many customers so close to the after work rush is a bit concerning. If I were them I would up the ante on the drinks a little bit and create a happy hour with drink and appetizer specials to try to boost some bussiness. Definitely not the best Colombian food I've ever had but far from the worst so I'd give them a chance again and try some other menu items. There is no other Colombian food in this area so they definitely have that on their side but they are competing with some Argentinian, Dominican, El Salvadorean, and Mexican spots in terms of Latin Cusine in the vicinity.

Yelp
Mi lugar favorito , siempre las chicas están atentas y la comida sabe deliciosa este lugar es acogedor y mis hijos le encantan esa carnita asada con tostone echo a la perfección y con un sabor increíble . Todo de aki me encanta

Dana Y.

Yelp
Food is extremely expensive when compared to the portion given. Rice and beans didn't look appetizing and the pork chop was soggy. I got the pork chop with onions, the ratio of onions and pork chop was ridiculous. I believed I ate one whole onion and like one piece of pork chop. I ordered over the phone, and the staff did not speak English. I was just hoping I would get the order I wanted. They're nice, but not being able to speak English annoyed me a little. I didn't learn enough Spanish to order food! Ehh, I only wanted to try this because I didn't want to go all the way to Jackson Heights, but I think I'll stick with that plan.

Yelp
If possible to put a negative 5 I WOULD! I just moved 3 blocks away and of course I felt blessed to see a Colombian restaurant just footsteps away since I'm Colombian myself. I took my mother for lunch and I was completely EMBARRASSED!!! The moment I got there you don't get greeted to sit anywhere, a waitress brought my mother and I menus and ONE MIN later a second waitress brings us water with an attitude asking if we know what we want. I had not even opened my menu, I had to tell her....I'm sorry I just sat down and received the menu, can I get a min to take a look. She walks away saying "I was just asking" once again with attitude ... Another waitress later comes, I ordered the salmon with steamed veggies and my mother had the soup of the day (meatball soup) and an to start we had the guac with platanos. The guac serving looked more like a sample of guac and then there were like 10 huge dry clunky platanos.. My mothers soap was delightful yet my salmon from the moment I looked at it I knew it was ridiculously over cooked! I put my fork in to confirm and it flaked apart instantly. Quality and presentation was horrific...I didn't bother return it ... Just wanted to leave. Never again!! ORDER Chinese instead
