I had a wonderful experience staying at Tierra del Sol in Aruba. The property is located in a beautiful gated community right on a stunning golf course, which gives it a peaceful and secure atmosphere. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely relaxed. The neighborhood is quiet and well-maintained, with lovely landscaping and scenic views of the fairways and surrounding hills. The Airbnb itself was spacious, comfortable, and very clean—perfect for a relaxing getaway. I enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings, watching the sunrise over the golf course, and in the evenings, the area was calm and serene. The location is ideal, just a short drive from some of the island’s best beaches, restaurants, and shops. I especially appreciated how safe and private the community felt, with 24-hour security and a welcoming environment. It’s the perfect balance between a peaceful retreat and convenient access to all the fun things Aruba has to offer. Overall, I highly recommend Tierra del Sol for anyone visiting Aruba who wants comfort, relaxation, and a touch of luxury. I would definitely stay here again

Visited January 23rd 2026 THE GOOD: Stunning pool and beautiful views. TE BAD: Pretty much everything else. Service, food and overall hospitality. I purchased a pool day pass and arrived at 2:30 PM only to be informed that the pool and restaurants would close at 3:30 PM due to a private event. This was never communicated in advance. Check in is done through the spa, where the receptionist was noticeably unfriendly. They refused to issue a refund, so I had to insist on some form of compensation. Eventually, they agreed to let me use the gym after the pool closed so I could at least enjoy the property a bit more. However, after being asked to leave the pool one hour later, the spa receptionist had already ended her shift and the spa was closed. I spoke to three different employees, all of whom dismissed me and refused to let me access the locker rooms. Not even to shower or change. At that point, I gave up and decided to leave. At the main hotel reception, I asked for help calling a taxi and was told that because I was a day pass guest and not staying at the hotel, they could not assist me. I ended up walking 45 minutes to another hotel just to get a taxi to my cruise ship. I genuinely do not understand why day passes are offered if day guests are clearly not welcome or treated properly. As for the food. Extremely disappointing. Clearly catered to American tastes, with not a single local or Caribbean dish available. Also worth noting. There are no towels for day visitors, even if you offer to pay for them. A gorgeous property, completely ruined by terrible service and a lack of basic hospitality.

I’ve been playing this golf course for over 15 years and the layout and views have always been great but it was going steadily downhill and the conditions were terrible. However in the last two years there’s been a remarkable turnaround and this week when we played it was in excellent condition. The fairways were lush and green, the tee boxes were in great shape and the greens, while very slow, were good for this climate. I’m guessing, because of the weather, keeping the sand traps maintained is tough as they were mostly hard pan but other than that I really enjoyed playing there.

Shabath is a wonderful friendly and super knowledgeable. I highly recommend this for a great long lunch .Food is fantastic. Great for a destination wedding. Going to have dinner here best sunset dinner place on the island. Luxury country club. The best of the best Andrea Fina

I wish I didn't have to write such a poor review, but if I can help another bride avoid the mess that is Tierra Del Sol, then so be it. I'd like to start off by saying that the team is extremely unorganized. Under Ethlyn Castillo's leadership, you can guarantee that the management of your wedding will be inconsistent, incorrect, and stressful. You will have to double check every single thing the team puts in front of you. She is also incredibly unfriendly and I saw her roll her eyes many times during our meetings. Here is a list of what happened with our wedding at Tierra Del Sol: 1. it took them about 6 months to even get us a quote (TDS is a special location for us since we lived on Aruba, which is why we put up with it). 2. They incorrectly invoiced us multiple times 3. The wedding planner we were working with (through Tierra Del Sol), randomly quit without notice and Tierra Del Sol never told us until we didn't hear from them for weeks and I had to ask for a follow up 4. *THIS IS A HUGE ISSUE THAT I AM STILL IN SHOCK ABOUT* I worked with the wedding planner on the menu for the day and they approved the choices, I sent those choices to all of our guests to select before the wedding. The Monday before our date, we all sat down and finalized them (after they made numerous mistakes where i had to go through and individually fix myself). 39 of our guests had ordered the surf & turf (lobster tail). On the night of our wedding, they brought out steak and reused shrimp from the cocktail hour (no lobster tail). People with clearly indicated shrimp allergies on the seating chart were served shrimp. Even after the incorrect food was brought to their attention during the meal they did nothing to fix it so my guests with allergies had nothing to eat for dinner (even after they assured us at our meeting that they would prepare extra food if there were to be an issue). My meal was incorrect and my husband was unable to eat his steak because it was hard as a rock. 0/10 service for the food. 5. I specifically mentioned that I wanted no artificial flowers at the wedding, but rather real roses and greenery. 50% of my floral arrangement was fake florals. 6. The night of the rehearsal dinner, Ethlyn and her team were incredibly unfriendly. Once it was over, they disappeared, no assistance in getting us taxis to dinner and we were stuck at the venue for 45 minutes. 7. The bridal suite floor was completely filthy, all of our feet were black as was the bottom of my dress (even before the wedding started). This was a shame because it affected the photos. 8. There was no AC in the bridal suite even after we asked them to turn it on. Ultimately, we tried really hard to work with Tierra Del Sol and give them the credit the venue deserves because it truly is beautiful. However, the team is rude, unorganized, inefficient, and careless. If you are going to give a business tens of thousands of dollars, you should be treated with care, kindness, and respect for your special day. They delivered none of these. Only stress and more stress. Save yourself the headache and get married at one of Aruba’s many other beautiful wedding venues

If you plan to play golf think twice , 250 USD +each player has to rent clubs 80 USD , that's 340 USD and you are definitely not getting that kind of course for the money. Recently they did improve fairways and tee boxes but it is still far from value for the buck. No wonder golf course is empty most of the time

I’ve been coming to Tierra Del Sol for years now, but recently tried their spa for the first time. It was such a wonderful and peaceful experience. I recommend the Swedish massage and to grab lunch at the beautiful restaurant afterwards! Just watch out for iguanas (;

This has been one of best restaurant's on our vacation.The Waldorf salad was outstanding and proportion was More than enough for both my wife and I Thanks meal was excellent as well!!
