We stayed in Tierra Gaucha Hostel Boutique for 3 nights. The whole experience was great! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The whole place had everything that we needed. Just few steps away from stores, restaurants and Nahuel Huapi Lake. Cozy, warm and full of great energy! ;)

I travelled as part of a large group so we probably got a cheaper-than-normal rate. The location is very good. The place is clean, decent, and good value for what you pay.||||Our room was for 4 persons with private bathroom. Everything worked, though "everything" may be too much already - one light bulb, and that's pretty much it. The room had one safe (which was locked and we did not use). Beds were kind of small, e.g. you cannot even sit in your bed if you are on the lower one (your head hits the topmost bed). And there is just one chair (also used as the only nightstand) so just forget about sitting. The room was just as small too.||||We were supposed to have free parking, but did not. There is place for maybe 10 cars. Our group only had perhaps six cars and only one of them fit in the already full parking lot. The other cars slept on the street, which you should consider is (a) not too safe in Bariloche and (b) paid parking as this is a very centric location. So consider talking to the staff in advance - if they say you are getting parking, make sure you get it.||||Staff was helpful, wifi worked well.||||The nicest comment goes for the common room and breakfast. Decoration is very nice. Breakfast (which you prepare and self serve) is good, there is tea, coffee, yogurt, some cereal and _mediaslunas_ -- more than what I would expect from a hostel.||||Tip - I recommend avoiding rooms 1 and 2 which sit next to lobby and shared/breakfast room, if you want to sleep away from night conversations and late checkins...||||I am giving four stars not for the amenities but for the price/value ratio. It is a good choice as a hostel.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff is very friendly. The location is great. The room has a hair dryer and a safe. And the breakfast is nice. The main cons was that the room was a bit too tight - hard to walk between the beds, and the internet was not working. Hopefully it will get fixed by the time you get there.

We have stayed in this hostel 4 nights and we have found it amazing.||There are different types of rooms, all with a private bathroom. The kitchen is at your disposal but in the morning you have the breakfast ready. Wifi doesn't work perfectly in the rooms but it is very good in the common area. The staff is absolute helpful for everything you need. I don't know why it is not consider an hotel.

first of all, you should note there's not A Tierra G, but 3 or even more. all of them are the same hotel and you book them in the same way. So you don't know exactly where you will be located in the town in advance. This review is about hotel 1. Shortly, the room is to say the least seriously out of date (think of it as staying over at your grandma's place). and the bathrooms are not very far away of filthy (moldy and smelly). Staff service and friendliness more than makes up for this. Breakfast is OK but basic. They provide glutenfree options for celiacs.

Perfectly located, right across the street from the lake and around the corner of the best chocolate shops This is a hostel, quite nice, however the property has limited parking space, on a first come first serve basis, otherwise you must pay for street parking. The hostel is on the first floor, no elevator. The rooms are OK, need lots of maintenance. Very basic commodities, offers free breakfast and Wi-fi. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean but they need lots of cosmetic work.

Money-before-client hostel Staff is not flexible and doesn't communicate well. As a result we had to pay an night more than we stayed there... The room was dirty: hair in the bathroom on arrival. Sand in the room on arrival. And on top also dangerous: missing stone in front of the bathroom door. A nail coming out of the floor. See photos. We had to let the shower running for about 20min to get warm water. Very noisy because of bad isolated walls and glass, so we had a lot of streetnoise, bell, television, ... On top also bad curtains so we had a lot of street light in the room. There are better money for value hostels in Bariloche.
