True Bliss. Me and my spouse spent the whole day at Tierra Luna Spa while staying at the Arizona Biltmore. Every staff member greeted me by my name and with a smile. I had a spa pedicure and a mineral bath today. I enjoyed my experience so much I am going back tomorrow for a massage. The spa area that is available with any service is so relaxing. I highly recommend checking this out!

Tierra Luna Spa is such a peaceful and tranquil place. I only got a pedicure but enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The relaxation area is indoor and outdoor and the ladies changing area was nicely done. The pedicure was one of the best I’ve ever had and the polish lasted a loooong time…definitely worth the cost! Parking is a bit tricky, just let the person at the gate know you’re going to the spa. They’ll let you in and direct you to their parking area.

Absolutely incredible experience here! I've been to spas all over the world, and this one definitely stood out. We did the couple's ritual experience, the Luna balancing, and it was extraordinary. The whole process from check-in feels very welcoming and calming. The garden area is very serene and inviting. The massage was perfectly timed at 50 minutes. The wellness bar offered delicious hummus and quinoa salad with either champagne or mocktail. The soak tub smelt incredible, and the intention stones made for an even more romantic time. The steam shower was absolutely invigorating. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will be back. All of the packages were extremely reasonable with pricing, from my experience.

What a beautifully renovated and gorgeous spa! A little desert oasis. I had the quartz massage and it was wonderful. I’m a spa lover and wasn’t sure how I would feel about this one. The website and other reviews don’t do it justice—lots of amenities and a beautiful property. Super clean, loved it.

Beautiful spa. Very peaceful experience. The services are pricey but for us it was definitely worth it. One booking at the spa allows access to all the amenities as well as the water slides and pools next door. The cold plunge is one of the coldest I’ve felt. Very impressive in 107° arizona heat. There are complementary baked goods and tea as well as salads and alcoholic drinks to order. The staff were all incredibly attentive and kind.

Spa is gorgeous. Treatment was amazing. That being said….the pool is a quarter of the size of a normal pool. Didn’t see any people coming around for service after being there an hour. They do not allow you to use the main hotel pools that include food and drink service. This was a problem as I took the day off to enjoy the spa and pool, assuming I could have lunch and drinks. I would NOT go back for this reason alone. I was told the main hotel pool is reserved for guests and “resort pass” patrons. I paid close to $300 for my spa service. I think resort pass is usually $50. Not a good look to prioritize those customers over spa guests.

Let me start by saying, I’m so grateful for my husband and that he surprised me with a day at the spa! Tierra Luna is a beautiful little desert sanctuary. No one on cell phones, no kids, no loud noises - just nice and peaceful. I really enjoyed the eucalyptus steam room (in the women’s locker room/lounge), the common lounge area, my facial, and being in robe and slippers all day. My esthetician was informative and made my skin look great and clean. The hot tub and cold dip pool was nice. They offer (for extra) three lunch menu items: a bowl (see photo), salad, and I can recall the third. They also have a small plate of chocolate bites, a few wines to choose from and mocktails. (Again, all for an extra cost) I was however SHOCKED at the prices. My 55 minute facial, although lovely and was a fave, was $215!! My 100 minute, basic, massage was… Gulp… $415!!! There was nothing spectacular about the massage. It was standard. I’ve had better. My 55 minute pedi was $85. I was disappointed that they didn’t have many polish colors to choose from - no vibrant colors for summer. I did enjoy the locker room amenities and just the tranquil, relaxing part of the spa experience that you have all day access to. The staff was nice. I felt like they charged so much because it has the Biltmore name attached to it. Quality of services is about a 3.5 star. Price is a 1 star. Overall relaxing experience and amenities is a 4 star. Can’t say I’d be back at those prices, but I am now a fan of day spas.

Our experience at the spa at Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, was an unforgettable journey of luxury and relaxation. This sanctuary of serenity goes above and beyond in redefining what a luxury spa experience should be. From the moment we walked in, the warmth and professionalism of the staff were evident. They attended to our needs with a personal touch, making us feel exceptionally pampered. The spa offered a diverse range of treatments, blending traditional techniques with innovative approaches. Each treatment, particularly the massages, was a masterpiece, utilizing high-quality, natural products that soothed and rejuvenated us. The facilities at the spa were immaculate and aesthetically pleasing, from the pristine sauna and steam rooms to the tranquil outdoor areas with breathtaking views. Every detail was meticulously crafted, emphasizing their commitment to holistic wellness. The experience was further enhanced by yoga and meditation sessions, led by skilled instructors who helped deepen our sense of relaxation. And the culinary offerings were a delightful surprise, featuring healthy, gourmet snacks that were as tasty as they were wholesome. In summary, the spa at Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, is not just a spa visit; it’s an immersive journey of sensory delight and profound relaxation. We left feeling not just pampered, but revitalized and eager for our next visit. For those in search of an unmatched spa experience, this spa is a top-tier choice.

Yelp
Husband was treated by a massage by me today for his birthday. He was pleasantly surprised by the spa treatment, and the experience! Very resting relaxing place! A good massage with deep tissue as well. place was beautifully decorated and clean. Price is a bit up there and they put on a 20% tip. What ever happen to the customer decides on a tip, as a tip is earned for great customer satisfaction and experience. Seems to be lost these days. Just expected any more, no mater the Quality of service. not saying this was a bad service just saying that tips are intended and decided upon the customer. just a bit irritating that they automatically put it on.

Yelp
I've had three treatments here and thought this spa was pretty mediocre. It makes sense to pay gratuity on, say, a massage, but they have a 20% gratuity automatically added when you're doing halotherapy or a bath ritual and the person literally. just shows you to the room. Even the clay ritual involves simply giving you clay and rocks. When I was here two treatments started late even though I was told to show up a half hour in advance, the lack of water pressure in the outdoor shower made it really hard to remove the clay, there were no snacks in the relaxation room, the locker room was cold, I was given wet sandals, and the lockers didn't consistently lock. Also it was really hard to figure out where to go without signs. Will go back to Aji instead next time.

Yelp
Like everyone else said double think going here. The massage therapist are great. However, the customer service in particular the manager Patrick totally missed the mark. To be part of a luxury hotel but not know proper customer service is ridiculous. I have a spa membership at the Phoenician but still chose to come here SEVERAL times before my last experience. However, now I will never be back for how they treated me .

Yelp
Had a wonderful day at the spa! Everyone was terrific from the front desk, Paris M and Gianna P, the spa therapists Julianna and Marissa. Don't second guess it; Go and enjoy!

Yelp
I had an amazing Lucid Awakening massage. It was about an hour massage and chakra balancing with an incredible foot exfoliation and shea butter moisturizing foot massage along with the head massage. I am spa junky and this was one of the best!

Yelp
Nice facilities and a great massage with Christine. Heads up! They include an extra 20% then ask if you want to add more.

Yelp
My visit to Tierra Luna was incredible. My cousins and I spent the weekend at the Biltmore and booked massages for Saturday morning. We checked in early and we're given a tour of the facility and immediately offered herbal tea. After changing into our robes and sandals we lounged by the fireplace with our tea and waited for our massages. I did a 90 minute chakra massage and was very pleased with the massage and experience. The gentlemen that did the massage used specific massage oils associated with each chakra and crystals to open up my chakras as part of the massage. When it was finished he asked me what chakra I felt the biggest impact with and then he left that specific crystal for me to keep. It was really cool. Everything is beautifully designed and the aesthetic is so pleasing. It has an incredible Arizona/desert/southwest vibe in the coolest way. I loved the gardens and the many different lounge areas to reflect and spend time. A spa hot tub or a plunge pool would have been nice. Obviously those things are available on the hotel grounds but to have one in the spa garden would've taken my experience to the next level. The entire experience was incredible and one I would love to repeat. I don't know when I'll be back to the Biltmore but when I am there, I'll definitely book a spa treatment at Tierra Luna.

Yelp
My most recent visit was particularly exceptional and I wanted to update. It started with booking; they literally picked up on the first ring. My spa attendant George did a beautiful job setting up for my service, the Circadian Ritual Bath. There was plenty of water, iced tea, and chocolates provided. Other snacks in the spa included carrot cake and some kind of marmalade pastry that was delicious. Additional food is available for a fee (the grain bowl was really good). Drinks are limited to water and iced tea, though pressed juice is available for purchase. The Sol Garden and the baths really set this spa apart. It's so peaceful in the bathing cabana, and they have fans so it doesn't get too hot. It's nice laying out for a bit and taking a dip in the cold plunge while enjoying the desert scenery. I never noticed the skylights in the showers, nice touch. For my next visit I want to try one of the Ayuna facials. I'm familiar with the line and would love to experience a treatment.

Yelp
We did a few services at the Spa. Check in at the spa was not met well with Giana. She was very rude multiple times and seemed very bothered with helping the clientele. The prices are typical resort prices but I do not feel like it was money well spent. The spa itself is beautiful and it was such a let down. My hair service ran 15 minutes behind, which was no problem, until she tried to rush my hair appointment and completed my hair from 1:15-1:42. I asked her if I could please have some curls added to my hair. I wasn't asked once how I would like my hair styled and it was an $80 blowout. She then curled my hair and I left at 2:08 which was the amount of time that I paid for. I would not recommend the spa and unfortunately we will not be back for services here.

Yelp
I have had two outstanding facials with Cassandra and I will keep coming back to see her. She has a warm, peaceful, and welcoming presence. I pepper her with questions during the treatment and she does a fantastic job educating me on what she's doing and how I can improve my skincare game at home. Both times I've left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and my face is glowing. She is a wonderful human being and very skilled at what she does. Looking forward to returning!

Yelp
I had a massage at 2:00. I was not taken in early. After my massage I slowly walked the Sol Garden and checked out the two pools. I wandered back to the locker room and got my stuff out. I was shocked to find that it was 2:53. I have never had a masseur short me minutes! Like 10 minutes! I just figured that I would leave a bad tip for poor service. When I went to check out I was forced to tip her 20%! It is my fault for not making a stink about it in the moment, but I didn't want to ruin my mood by possibly having to confront my massage therapist after paying over $200 for a relaxing spa afternoon. The facility itself is very nice, but after being cheated and forced to tip generously I wouldn't go back. Hopefully the spa sees this an talks to their employees about shorting massage minutes.

Yelp
I went to this spa while I was staying at the Biltmore. Unfortunately, the facilities were subpar considering it's a Waldorf hotel spa. The outside area was extremely beautiful they didn't have much else to offer. All they had was a hot and cold pool, anda steam room in the locker room. Having been to other spas across the country, this spa was so-so. My massage was extremely enjoyable but my facial was average.

Yelp
I wanted to book a spa day this weekend for my 30th birthday, but accidentally booked for today, just an hour before the appointment would have occurred. When they called I explained the mix up, but the manager said they would not reschedule, I would need to pay for a second appointment and they would keep the entire $225 for the accidental booking. I understand charging a fee for a mistake like this, but the entire price of the appointment is ridiculous. They didn't provide any service and they have availability for the rest of today. They aren't even busy. They were not inconvenienced at all. What a scam.

Yelp
We have so many great spa options in Phoenix. When my regular resort spa was fully booked, I decided to give the spa at the Biltmore a try. It has been years since I've been to the spa and wowza, what a different experience. It's a beautiful spa with a large relaxation room and a large outdoor lounging area. The men's locker room is large, modern and immaculate. The only ding is the abscence of deodorant etc. I wish I had known that the spa was brand new! Massages at a resort spa can be an expensive hit or miss. I prefer deep pressure and had an excellent massage from Matt. No chit-chat, just a great massage that he modified with some lomi-lomi techniques. One of the best resort massages I've ever had!

Yelp
Great experience excellent massage, the massage therapist was lovely. They were very accommodating all the appointments seemed book, up and they still were able to fit me in which isn't a guarantee but it was so great! I was treated so well for my birthday I would definitely go back again on my next visit!

Yelp
Not a great experience. A couple of interactions with the staff left a bad taste in our mouths. The outdoor space wasn't particularly relaxing, as the doors slam heavily and there were several groups being particularly loud - felt like we were at a public pool. In the locker room multiple people had confusion with their bracelet system and it affected the overall vibe. We booked two of the same services on the same reservation and one of us got extras that weren't communicated to the other, so it made us feel pretty awkward. When we gave feedback at the front desk, they argued with each other in front of us and then tried to gaslight us, despite the fact we were clear we were paying the full amount but just wanted to note feedback. I've been to many spas that don't tout themselves as "fancy" as this one, and received much better service with a more relaxing experience. We will never go back - there are too many other options in this area for them to charge that much for a subpar quality of experience and less-than-professional staff. The cushions and chairs throughout could also use a good cleaning or replacement.

Yelp
My husband and myself had a great experience at the Tierra Luna Spa! It is stunning with an incredible attention to detail. Everyone from the receptionists, attendants, and the masseuses were warm and welcoming! Maguie at the front desk was also amazing and so helpful!
