TIERRA MIA Hotel Boutique

The room was nice, the hotel had a nice courtyard and a decent breakfast. The best thing about this hotel is the reception, really helpful setting up transport from cancun and to merida, even with late arrival she fixed everything! amazing amazing service

Great location, really sweet hotel, and the service was really good. Everything was clean, and the pool and local areas were nice. The breakfast was a bit sober and the beds where small and a bit hard.

Stayed for 3 nights in this hotel, first impressions, we were a bit nervous going down the lane but delightfully surprised when we arrived, very pretty open reception. We were checked in by Alonso, he had great English but he's actually just had his last day so good luck Alonso, thanks for good service! The rooms themselves were basic but nice, unfortunately wifi didn't reach our room which was very frustrating. Beds were spacious, rooms cleaned every day. The A/C wasn't as strong as we hoped at night but it was very hot! I would say if the doors sealed properly, the rooms would be colder and cheaper to run AC. There were bugs in the bathrooms each night which we hated but it was fine to deal as they didn't come into our room. The breakfast was lovely every morning and nice selection, try hot cakes and fruit were gorgeous and the service was fab. It is only a 3 minute walk from the beach which was handy and a spa around the corner! We felt that the value wasn't amazing for how much it cost but still enjoyed our time.

We ended our Mexico round trip in this hotel. I can absolutely recommend the hotel. The staff was always friendly, starting from the reception, restaurant and housekeeping. The whole place is constantly cleaned, the rooms are designed to my taste, the pool is well maintained. The air conditioning works (very important on Holbox). The location is also wonderful, walking 5 minutes to the beach, which is accessible to everyone. Thanks again, for the beautiful 4 days!

Room was spacious and overall the hotel is nicely decorated. They have a pool but the whole pool area is not particularly welcoming. Service was nice but not super attentive. Location is ok. Overall a little too pricey for the quality of stay they provide!

We, a group of two couples just stayed recently for 1 night at this beautiful Boutique hotel and we had the perfect getaway. I booked our rooms directly through the hotel and even when I had some troubles with realizing the deposit, Maria was really kind and directly found a solution which was very much appreciated. The modern rooms have a good size, with Sky TV and a huge rain shower. But what we liked most was the beautiful Mexican and tropical decor throughout the hotel, simply amazing and you can see their love for details. The pool was clean and very refreshing, a great spot to hang out after beach. We had breakfast included in our rate and we were surprised of the variety and quality of it, just delicious. The beach is just around the corner (2 min walk) and the center 5 min walk away. We also appreciated that after Check Out we could store our luggage without problem and could even still use the pool area. ||We would definitely return!

The hotel has very nicely decorated, perfectly clean rooms, we slept very well. The pool area is very nice, they pay close attention to details. Breakfast is not a lot but tastes great and is always fresh, creative and healthy - you can choose from a variety of smoothie bowls, eggs and sweets like waffles. The ladies at the front desk are all very helpful, booked daytours for us and helped us with any questions and issues we had. They have a cooperation with a beachclub where you can get sunbeds, drinks, towls and food for a lower price than without the cooperation so its no problem at all that theres no direct access to a private beach. Its about 2 minutes walking distance from the beach, about 10 minutes distance to this beachclub and also about 10 minutes to downtown.

Everything about this hotel was excellent but what really makes Tierra Mia so wonderful is it’s staff. So friendly, available and always willing to accommodate our requests. The rooms are very clean and feel new. The furnishings are modern and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and you can really get a good nights rest here. The breakfast is included and is a great start to your day. The location was perfect for our two families, kids from 12-16, just close enough to many restaurants yet not close enough to hear any sounds of late night parties. The beach is less than a five minute walk and is perfect for everyone even small children. They have bikes that are free for you to use and they are well maintained. I would definitely recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to explore this gem of an island.
