My best friend gifted me a spa day here and I was so impressed with my masseuse I had to leave a review. I’ve had a lot of massages done but none have come close to this one Shane used techniques I’ve never had done before targeting my left shoulder pain which I always request to me worked on. I will definitely be coming back for him to work my shoulder again soon. The hotel and amenities were all clean and top tier condition the staff is so friendly. I was a very happy and satisfied birthday girl.

The layout at this spa is very odd. To get from the wet rooms to the locker room, you need to walk by reception and the shop. It doesn’t make sense. On a positive note, I had a fantastic massage by Shane. It was sooooo relaxing and the amount of pressure he used was perfect. The wet rooms are beautiful and well maintained. There is someone constantly cleaning the area, which I did appreciate. The only reason why I’m giving 4 stars is because of the weird layout of the spa area.

It’s a beautiful and relaxing place. They have a huge hammam, dry sauna, steam room and heated lounge area. Also the ice cold room, which I wish was cooler, because for an experienced sauna goer the temperature is mot low enough to cool off (cold water in the shower is not enough, if you know what I mean). I like the amenities, the teas and snacks are always nice and fresh👌🏼they provide water as well and a nice salty soap to use in shower. I haven’t try any of the massages or treatments yet though.

Tierra Santa Healing House is a small charming spa at the Faena with an interesting selection of treatments including energy cleansing. Your eyes are covered for the cleansing and you can’t see exactly what your therapist is doing for an hour, but hopefully my energy is cleaner now lol! Also had a massage and facial. The massage was excellent, the facial was all serums and masks—no extractions or exfoliation—which I would have preferred. I did not spend much time in the wet spa area or hammam, but they were beautiful. The spa also sells souvenirs, sundries, skin care products, and essential oils. The staff throughout was polite and professional. Overall a nice escape for a relaxing day off.

Had an amazing day at Tierra Santa Healing House. The staff were friendly, spa was clean and beautiful. Best part was the healers/ technicians really know and understand what they’re doing. Definitely coming back!

This is the second time I visit and it did not disappoint. The serene atmosphere immediately melted away the stress of everyday life, with soft lighting, calming music, and the gentle scent of essential oils creating the perfect sanctuary. The wet spa was amazing as always, from the shower with Palo Santo soap to the Hammam, Steam Room, Sauna, Cold Chamber & Tepidarium. My massage with Shane was absolutely perfect. The pressure, the comfort, the professionalism, his flow & technique were all heavenly. I regretted not getting a 90 minute massage! Definitely worth the money!!

Tierra Santa I was looking in Miami for the best spa experience. I was looking for a day of pampering. As such, I wanted additional benefits and not just a massage. This spa ended up topping my comparison list. Scheduling an appointment was slightly problematic. I spent entirely too much time on their site attempting to make a reservation for two. The site was not working. I ended up calling the spa to schedule over the phone. However, there was no answer so I had to leave a message requesting a return call. A staff did call me back late the next day. I was able to schedule over the phone. I was advised to complete the forms prior to arrival date- which I did do The spa is located inside of the Faena Hotel. The hotel is on the corner and is easy to find. The spa will validate valet parking for $35. We parked about a block away for much less. However, parking price value would be based on how long you plan on being at the spa. It may be more cost effective to pay the $35. When we arrived a hotel staff assisted us by escorting us to the elevator to the spa level. There was a lady at the front desk when we arrived. It did take her a few moments to acknowledge us, and when she did she asked us to give her a few minutes. Another staff approached and asked if we had been assisted. The staff sitting at the front desk did ask her to help us. We advised we had appointments. She checked us in and walked us over to the waiting area. The waiting area is very bright and doubles as a store. We were served tea and allowed to relax and take pictures. This area also had access to the outside patio also available for lounging durring your spa day. Following the waiting area the staff walked us to the women's fitting room. She gave us a quick tutorial on how to utilize the lockers. We changed into our swimsuits to get ready to enjoy the wet area. The wet area is on the opposite side of the spa. You have to walk through the waiting area and the front desk. When you walk in you are greeted by a table full of fresh soap. You are encouraged to grab a piece to try. The following are available in the wet area: a waterfall shower, steam room, a haman, a sauna, and a cold room. NOTE: this area is co-Ed. Based on my observation it's best to schedule an early service so that you can enjoy the benefits with a limited crowd. You also access the area for your spa services directly from the wet area. There is a lounge area where you can enjoy tea, infused water and snacks such as dried fruit, fresh strawberries, and chocolate covered almonds to name a few. I opted to take a quick shower prior to my 60 minute massage. My skin was feeling dry from the over load on water, and heat. We arrived to the lounge about 5-10 minutes prior to our scheduled spa time. Shane came into the lounge and advised he would be my massage therapist. When we walked into my private room he advised I could have a seat on a purple chair. He went over the paper work I competed on line. He repeated to me what I indicated as it relates to areas to focus on, areas to avoid and pressure I desired. After confirming everything he asked me what oil I would be interested in for aroma therapy. I opted for lavender after smelling all of them. Shane gave me some privacy to undress to my comfort level and advised I should start out laying face down. When Shane came back into the room he got to work immediately. This massage was PERFECT! Shane ensured the pressure was what I desired, and he focused on all the places I need to be worked on. He did some moves I have never felt before and I was so impressed. I was so disappointed when the 60 minutes were up. This experience exceeded my expectations!

Google
Shane is, without question, the best massage therapist I’ve ever experienced. He is a true expert. He listens with intention, responds with precision, and works with a presence that’s both grounding and deeply intuitive. His touch is strong, skilled, and healing. He truly has hands of gold. There’s a calm strength in his energy that makes me feel safe and at peace. A transformative experience from start to finish every time. 1000/10

Yelp
I wanted so badly to give a five star review but there was some sloppiness in a few things that occurred with my service. I'm sure this can be addressed with the staff to ensure consistency in service for every guest. Nonetheless, the massage I received by Carlos was absolutely fantastic and truly the most healing massage I've ever had. I moved to Miami less than a year ago and have been making my way through various spas and Carlos is by far my favorite masseuse I've encountered in South Florida. His technique epitomizes what the spa boasts, a holistic healing approach and he is a gem at the Tierra Santa Spa. While the facilities were beautiful, one of my gripes was that during my time at the Wet Spa, the waterfall was broken and there were two gentleman who were attempting to rectify the situation. My issue is not that they were there, but rather that they were very loud. Every time my boyfriend tried to zen out, he couldn't because they were so incredibly loud. It really detracted from the purpose of a spa day. My other issue was minor, but I wish the front desk had informed us of the add-on of the muds, scrubs, butters and oils available at reception. We would've certainly taken advantage of this feature! I do plan on visiting again in the future so hopefully these minor things can be taken note of for future guests. My only other feedback would be to have the Ice Parlor at a bit cooler temperature, as the 55 degrees doesn't truly feel alarming enough to be an "ice" parlor, but this didn't detract from my experience. The facility does also have a hammam which is absolutely stunning in its design, and has its own herbal steam room. The sauna is very decent size and the tepidarium is unique and something I've yet to encounter prior to Tierra Santa. The sequence in which you walk through the various parts of the spa is well thought out and harmonized.

Yelp
We loved our massages and the facilities were so well-maintained. Gloria was so welcoming and helped us with whatever we needed. My daughter brought me as a gift and we had side by side massages and enjoyed the steam room, hammam, sauna and cold room. Our massage therapists shane and hemma were excellent. Highly recommend it for the ambiance, relaxation, and the people :)

Yelp
I was almost dissuaded from coming here after reading some of the recent reviews (which I now think are Not True or blown out of proportion) ,but sometimes you have to have a mind of your own and follow your own desires. So to this review is categorized: MASSEUSE/MASSAGE: I had SHANE as my masseuse. He gave me the BEST massage I've had in Miami to date! You hear me!!! (Other spas I've visited Inclue: Lapis, Eden Roc, & W Hotel) Shane had GREAT energy ( you can't just let any and everyone be touching you like that! ) He has worked there for 3 years and knows what he is doing. I got the SACRED WARRIOR Massage. They perform an energy clearing using Tibetan Singing Bowls that you can feel the vibration throughout your body as you lay on your warm heated table, and when I tell you it literally felt like eliminating negative energy from my body! And your inhaling the aromatherapy oil scent of your choice ( I chose Pablo Santo which was heavenly). He then light a REAL Palo Santo stick before starting my actual massage. My massage was perfect! We focused on the areas I wanted and the pressure and touch was perfection for me! Thank you Shane! AMENITIES: Clean, clean, and clean! Relaxing. I used the steam room ( it gets hot but you gotta sit in there and let that thing kick in honey!) The sauna was really nice too and the Hamman room was super relaxing with gentle sprays of steam water every other minute. I took a nap in here. Only Negative was the Ice Room was not super cold. It was cool, but not giving up he sub zero temps I like. But whatever it was definitely not a deal breaker issue! SERVICE: The nicest staff ever! Everyone was so sweet and helpful. There were other reviews that said it was under staffed, but I found it was the opposite. BONUS: Come early because I went to Faena Beach access and got a chair/umbrella for $10 extra bucks! Which was nice. I had an amazing time. I also ate Dinner at my favorite Miami restaurant Pao (delicious) and made a new friend! All in all... an amazing SPA day!

Yelp
I booked a massage at the spa as mart of the Miami spa month deals and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The massage was exceptional and the spa itself is beautiful. As an additional perk you get access to the hotel pool for the day! Definitely recommend to anyone looking to treat themselves!

Yelp
Truly amazing experience! One of the kind! special thank you for yoga instructor Lina Pinilla!

Yelp
I was lucky enough to have a spa voucher as a xmas present. Tierra Santa Healing House spa is dedicated to the joy of living well. Inspired by the idyllic estate of the same name in Punta del Este, it combines age-old South American healing techniques and treatments with state-of-the-art technology. It's an oceanfront oasis for restoring balance, elevating the spirit, and energizing the body. The spa menu offers unique healing arts, advanced beauty treatments, holistic and preventative medicine and wellness programs over 22,000 square feet. I came for a rose ritual massage that lasted for 50 minutes. It was a lovely treat, which I really enjoyed although I think the price of 350 is outrageous and definitely NOT worthy of a price tag like that! For example I spent 398 dollars to fly to London and back to Miami, which is money better spent in my opinion and takes this into comparison! The spa offers lockers, a nice changing area, a pleasant reception area, restrooms, hamman, sauna, wet room and showers. However it lacks a pool?! - I only stayed for 2.5 hours, because of this reason. I also think the snacks offered are a little lack lustre - just water, tea, apples and biscuits. the soap that is offered to use in the spa is divine. The place was very clean and the service was fantastic.

Yelp
Alisha gave me the best massage and healing I ever had in a very long time and I am a healer myself! I read and heal people through their Akashic Records. I was recovering for a long week of work and illness and her massage and pranic healing was literally a gift from gods and goddesses. I felt like a new human afterward. The facilities are clean and absolutely beautiful. There are steamed and dry sauna. Beautiful shower area with delicious scented rose shape soap. Ice room. Moroccan scrubbingI room. There were delicious teas and treats. I am so impressed. Will come again next time I am in Miami! The treatment I received called "Sacred Warrior Massage". So Magical. Thank you so much everyone from front desk and host for such a divine experience!

Orianna N.

Yelp
It is such a great Spa. Services are excellent. Every time I go there it does not disappoint!!

Yelp
I visited the spa in March after years of wanting to visit. The spa was beautifully curated in every way. The customer service was seamless and elevated. The therapists were well trained & very skilled healers and masters of their craft. The facilities were beautiful and transformative. I had a hammam rose ritual service with Gisela M- absolutely incredible experience. I also had an amazing massage with Alejandro C and ended the day with an excellent Biologique Recherche facial with Francesca V. It is clear that the TSHH team is very skilled and I am ready to return...tomorrow! :)

Fantastic spa. Beautiful amenities, amazing spa menu, wonderful personnel and skilled technicians. My go to in South Florida .

Yelp
Wow I have to say, this is one of the best massage experience I have had in long while. My masseur, Joseph, is simply excellent. I would say this is hands down the best massage I've had in Miami, and among the best treatments I had in my life, and I enjoyed every minute of it. He's skilled enough that he knows what my ailments are without being told and takes care of them. After the treatment I felt like a car that has been to a tune up and has new parts put in. Even the day after, when I woke up, I was amazed how relaxed my body felt as I got out of bed. As for the co-ed wet spa, this is among the best in Miami. Partly because this place is only about six months old, so everything is very new. Partly also because they seem to have army of staff taking care of the facility. I can tell you that the real place looks as beautiful as the official pictures, if not more. I love the hamman, the sauna - again the most beautiful sauna I have visited. The temperature is good, not too hot but warm enough to work a good sweat. I do wish they provide pool or beach access too, but as it is, this place is still awesome. Definitely will be back!! For parking, if you don't want to valet there is a small municipal lot just half a black north. Maximum three hours may not be enough if you plan to visit the sauna and steam room, but if you pay for parking with your phone you can easily extend it while lounging in the spa.

Tanaz S.

Yelp
Too many people booked for such a tiny wet spa. It's like a dorm room, people in and out of everywhere. Slamming doors, talking loud, leaving towels, cups, and not picking up after themselves. The Hamman is really pointless. It's neither hot nor cold, and there is a small space to lay and get pelted with ceiling water and soft steam... no reason to sit on the marble seating area. Yes, the steam room and sauna are amazing, but very small for the number of people allowed in there. The cold room is entirely defunct. There are two tiny seats in a room that's as cold as a Publix. And a bowl of old ice. What to do with the old ice? Nothing. No facecloths to put over your face, no cucumbers, no point. But here is the biggest issue with the Faena. The beach is very very dirty. That's not something that is the fault of the Faena, it's human kind. We are absolutely the worst. Plastic bags, diapers, condom wrappers in there, plus the stink of seaweed. Someone should be hired to clean it up. So the beach is already 98 degrees and urine temperature hot, and also dirty. You can lay on the beach, right? $10 a beach chair if you're getting a 90 min massage- not bad . But here is the issue: You pay a fortune to get a 90 min massage. Trek to the beach to buy $10 chairs to sit by ocean. And FML, there is live music playing - ON THE OCEAN. A woman is singing with a microphone on the sand. I almost imploded from shock. There are soundtracks of the ocean for purchase in the world. People want to listen to the ocean so much they spend money to listen to a digital version of it. And here we are, on the sand, right in front of an ocean and I have to hear Laura sing Amy Winehouse at 3pm over the ocean waves???? We are in a sound hell. The disruption was so bad, we left. People either sit on the sand and listen to their earbuds, or they listen to the waves. When this woman is singing at octave 1034 , you cant comfortably listen to either. I had a very stressful work week and all I wanted was some quiet time. Didn't get it. No one wants to listen to some random woman sing pop music on a beach. Make America quiet (again?). Faena please be a place of peace and restoration and rejuvenation. Please stop adding to the 305 epidemic of noise. The spa, the sauna, the pool, the beach were not places of peace. They were anxiety filled - noise filled, people filled - melting pots of stress. At least remove the singers from the beach. Please.

Yelp
Very disappointing spa package experience... it was not as advertised. We did not have an exclusive room, no parting gift, the "meditation and yoga" was very strange and awkwardly pieced together. The massage was the worst massage we've ever gotten... I kept asking for strong pressure and it was so light! A complete waste of money. I give it 2 stars because the grounds are beautiful. The hotel is very nice, and it has a ton of potential. But it was unbelievably expensive for such a poor and awkward experience.

Yelp
Such a great experience! I had Shane who gave me the best full body massage ever. The amenities were perfect and I feel so relaxed. I will definitely be back. Me and my best friend had a girls day / bday treat since our birthdays just passed

Cami F.

Yelp
The spa attendants were lovely as was the wonderful massage but the overall experience was disappointing. We are locals and considered getting a room for a birthday weekend but decided to book massages instead. The spa front desk agent was not very nice. There's just this overall attitude in the property. Also you cannot use the pool or the beach if you get a massage. You also can't eat because everything is closed from 11.00 to 12:00 pm. Yes you read that right. It's a hotel in Miami Beach on a Saturday with absolutely nothing to eat! We were very glad not to be staying here. The concierge was also annoyed when I asked her a question as she had to look up from scrolling her cellphone. I would go to the nearby spas for a better experience and kinder treatment.

Yelp
Best experience ever! We did a girls pampering spa day here and absolutely enjoyed every moment and every amenity they offered! Highly recommend for a solo, couples or a girls spa day!

Yelp
Please do not waste your money at this spa. Took my daughter there for her birthday. Chose this spa for the wet spa before massage. Like others have mentioned the wet spa was not operational. They did not let us know before and made no effort to make things right or apologize. Massages are way over priced but if wet spa was available it would have been nicer. I emailed spa after and have heard nothing back. Please chose another spa.

Yelp
Wonderful experience at this spa. My husband and I came to spend the say durning Miami Spa Month and I can say that besides just being a beautiful hotel, the service they offer is amazing. From the moment you get off of the car at valet and throughout the day at the spa and even the beach the service was outstanding. It almost felt for a minute that we weren't in miami anymore. The receptionist at the spa was amazing! She was super friendly, checked us in right away and explained everything we needed to know. Later on in the day she set us up with our beach passes, helped with valet validation and even went as far as helping me find super glue for a nail emergency. I'm terrible with names but wish i could remember her's because she really deserves a shot out. The rest of the spa staff were also very nice and always asking if you need anything. The spa itself is beautiful! From the lobby to the treatment rooms, it is really well done. Even the soap is displayed beautifully. We had a couples coco massage and did do all the rooms in the wet spa. I even opted for the bathing ritual (scrub/mud mask/oil) it's a bit on the pricey side since you are just paying for a single size portion of the stuff and doing it yourself, but i really enjoyed it and it did leave my skin very soft . The massage itself was great. Our masseuses were very detailed and asked about our special attention areas. The couples suite was also very beautifully furnished. Now, was it the best massage I ever had, probably not but it was still very soothing. We loved all the different rooms in the wet spa and even the quite waiting lounge was very nice with tea (which was delicious, i must of had like 5 cups while there) and light snacks. We loved that the wet spa is co-ed. My husband and I frequent at spas and usually we only get to hang out in the waiting room before the treatment or outside of the spa, expect for when we travel outside of the US or at fountainbleu where they do have a co-ed area with large mineral pool (jacuzzi) and a rain shower, but that's it. The only thing we felt the spa was missing to really make it perfect was something like a co-ed jacuzzi or other water spa feature like a hot/cold plunge pool. They do offer showers with warm/cold options but it's not the same, and since they only offer beach access (no pool) you kind of feel short changed. But that's my only complaint. Everything else was wonderful
google avatar

Tracy A.

Yelp
If you are looking for a spa experience don't come here. Everything is closed, even though they tell you to come an hour early to enjoy their amenities. I was told to sit on the back porch and offered nothing to drink. They should lower their exorbitant prices if they have nothing to offer except the treatment itself. You can go anywhere for a facial at half the price
google avatar

Natalie A.

Yelp
I went a couple months ago but I seriously can't stop thinking about the amazing spa day I had. I'm looking forward to get back. Absolutely no complaints.

Yelp
I have been going to here since they opened and it's my favorite spa in Miami. Ingrid is my girl! She gives amazing massage. She can do deep tissue also relaxing massage depends on your need that day. She has great manner and gentle touch. She doesn't rush and has great energy that just relax you even more. She's very thoughtful and understanding your needs. Spa is very clean and brand new. Cold bottles of water is always available front of sauna so you can be hydrated and temperature of steam room and dry sauna is perfection. Spa attendants are very kind and thoughtful as well. I always get the best relaxation and feel rejuvenated after visiting this spa. I've been going to many high end spas in Miami and Miami Beach but this spa is the absolutely top spa. It's very hard to find great massage therapists and clean spa and great amenities all together. Especially co-Ed. Highly recommend to everyone who wants great massage and have a great spa day.

Yelp
Worst massage ever! I went to Tierra Santa Spa @ Faena Hotel yesterday. I get a better massage at my nail spa. I got a female therapist. I had the flor Blanca massage. It really wasn't a massage. I told her I was having pain in my lower back- I wanted special attention there. she did not touch my lower back! After the massage, I went to the wet spa. They gave me a dirty robe that smell off vomit The wet spa is very beautiful but a bit uncomfortable. There are no comfortable chairs or beds. So its difficult to stay there for a while. After changing, I went to pay the bill. The check already included a 20 percent tip which wasn't deserved I lost all my morning in something not worth it. NOT COMING BACK. I leave near by.....

Yelp
Jabdalea is the best massage therapist I've ever found - I keep on coming back and asking for her because she is that good! The couples treatment room is fantastic, as it is the whole facility.

Yelp
We called early Wednesday morning to book the Heart Chakra - Anahata Lovers - Day Spa Package for later that afternoon. We were glad they were able to accommodate us in such short notice. I had to ask the associate for the price since their website doesn't list prices. This particular package was $500++ for a couple. We arrived about 20 minutes early and did the sign in and all of that jazz. You pretty much sign a waiver that says you can't sue them if something bad happens. You sign or you don't get the service you book (they'll also charge your card for canceling last minute). We were escorted into separate male and female bathrooms and shown the bathroom accommodations. You are given a robe to wear over your swimsuit and a pair of rubber slippers, and for some reason they believe that all women have size 6 feet. Because we were early they let us enjoy the bathing ritual area before the massage. We weren't given the soap shavings but were instructed to remove all oils and lotions from our bodies. The giant soap wasn't out that time of day yet. We availed ourselves of the steam room after showering and then cooled off a little in the warm Hammam - don't be fooled they use this term very loosely. You won't be getting a Turkish bath experience here. We alternated from there to steam room to dry sauna before we were called in for the massage. The in-room massage was absolutely divine. The room was beautifully decorated with glass doors looking towards the beach. My masseuse was really good, albeit she still would go over my injured knee after telling her not to touch it. After the 50 minute massage, it was time for a soak in a tub in the middle of the room. They filled it with water halfway with essential oils of our choosing and sprinkled some red rose petals for a dash of extra romance. The water was cold because they ran it a while ago, but no worries we just ran the hot water to even it out. You and your partner then spend a blissful half hour of soaking in fragrant waters looking out the beautiful beach view. It was absolutely divine. They really give you your time to enjoy this part. You then wash off in the bathroom when done. My husband and I sat down in our robes on the balcony, again just staring at the beautiful beach view. They then give you a fresh pressed juice. The other part of the package was supposed to be an intimate meditation session. And intimate it wasn't. For some reason the meditation instructor brought along a friend of hers along with one of the spa employees in the session. This set me off because I booked an intimate session with my husband, not some strangers. But I tried to wave off the irritation and tried to open my heart. And I just couldn't get over my annoyance of this unwanted intrusion. It also doesn't help that the instructor's energy was not suited for the practice. She was just all over the place, won't stop talking. And for some reason she felt it necessary to include a framed picture of her meditation master. The idolatry was just a huge turn off for me and my husband. In the end we were presented with a $708 bill. What they don't tell you is that they automatically tack on a service fee for the masseuse, think of it as a tip. Which I don't object to, but I don't like having that choice taken away from me. Especially when the service didn't warrant $50-ish tip to a masseuse that kept trying to massage my sore knee that I told her not to touch at all. And the exclusive product you get with the package? Nothing more than a small reusable canvas bag with they logo on it, presented in a beautiful red paper bag. It's so ironic, the paper bag probably cost more than the free item. When the associate asked us how it was, I told her that I was disappointed with the meditation section and how there were strangers in it when the service description says "intimate." Her response? Just rattled off the package description and expected that to be it. Not very intelligent. Worst $708 purchase ever. I have been to a $40 Korean spa with better and more offerings.

Yelp
This was the best massage and spa experience that I've ever had. I have gotten treatments all over the world, and I was pleasantly surprised by how great this one was. Lisette was so attentive to my body's needs and also very aware in general. She knew when and where and how much pressure to apply to release all of my tension and stress effortlessly. The name of the spa definitely does it justice. It was truly a healing experience. Lisette was kind and intuitive and I am lucky to have received her as my massage therapist. On top of the massage the spa itself is luxurious, beautiful, and relaxing. I couldn't stop taking pictures because it was so nice to just look at and be in that space. I wish I could go back every day and I will definitely be back very soon. Thank you very much. You've made my last day in south beach a very pleasant one.

Yelp
I am a spa fanatic i confess. Came to the Faena hotel which i had not visited in Miami yet, i had heard great things about this hotel in Buenos Aires, so me and some girlfriends decided to come and check it out. It was Miami spa month so we scored good deals and we came. The hotel is beautiful and so its the Tierra Santa spa. It is based in indigenous treatments from South America. Place is luxurious, and we enjoyed the wet spa before our treatments. We had accès to the steam room, sauna, tepidarium and showers with different temperature waters. they also had a turkish marble slab which took me back to Istanbul minus the scrubbing lol. The massage was great and the massage therapist was very nice. The decor at the lobby and outdoor areas are very nice and unique. I feel almost in Peru or somewhere in SA. The only minus is you do not have access to the hotel pool, as this is only for guests, which i found odd since whenever i go to a spa in any hotel you get pool access. Will try it again anyway.

Yelp
This place is amazing, my friend asked me to join him for a deep tissue massage, if you get a chance ask for James he is great!!! And super professional. The facilities are great and the staff is accommodating. The place is in pristine condition. Came here for spa month miami so I know I got a good deal. It would be perfect if it would have a jacuzzi in the big room (hamam) but I will certainly come back (if they ran another special that is).

Yelp
The best thing about this facility is that it is absolutely beautiful. The finishes, wallpaper, marble etc.. are truly incredible. However there are so many changes they need to make in order to make this a great spa. The locker room smelled like cleaning chemicals which did not make for a great experience. I feel the spa should smell zen and create that certain ambiance. There was a cleaning person buzzing around the spa who wasn't very professionally dressed and that too was a little odd. The spa facilities need help too. The floor is unbelievably slippery. I am certain someone has fallen already it is so dangerous. The lighting is totally off. They have a huge hammam type room that is way too brightly lit and is not relaxing. Also they wasted a lot of space there because you could fit like a hundred people in that empty room. Sort of odd as well. The steam room had a slight mold smell which was troubling. They need to address this. The sauna was gorgeous probably the prettiest I have seen. However the lighting was also very bright and not relaxing at all. Lastly they has some kind of cold room that was not cold at all. Totally a let down there. Also their spa snacks where you wait for treatment were very lackluster. I have been to spas where they have water with fruits floating, pieces of dark chocolate, homemade cookies or bites that are healthy etc.. theirs was a sad jar of nuts and some not very good balls of some sort. As far as the treatment it was ok. The scrub was SO light that you didn't really feel a ton of scrubbing. It was like being rubbed with a light sand. I prefer a coarse grain that you really feel. Also my massage was just ok. The therapist was not super great. Overall they have a lot of work to do. I hope they improve because with such a beautiful spa everything else should match that.

Yelp
We love this hotel and the spa. We can't say enough good things about specialists Charles and Christopher. We always request them. Fantastic body work!

Yelp
I wanted to do something special for my husband for the holidays. I treated him to the Tierra healing spa at the Faena hotel with the couple love chakra package. We were suppose to start with the meditation; however, the therapist, my husband and myself was unable to focus and relax due to a fire drill test which lasted for more than half hour. Couldn't they block the schedule for such drill? The meditation therapist ,Tina, tried everything in her power to make us focus. However, My husband and I felt turned off. The fire alarm drill went on for 30-40 minutes while we tried to meditate which cause us to loose time from our paid services. We felt rushed and none the less the staff could not educate us properly on the package. It was truly frustrating. I came to relax Not to figure out when my next treatment was going to be or how long did I have to enjoy my couple suite. The best part of all no manager came by to apologized about all the inconvenience we had encounter. The Meditation instructor ,Tina, was the only one who went beyond herself to save the day. She kindly offered us two champagne glasses, but in reality I came to relax not to have a drink. I am so disappointed because the place is indeed beautiful. The massage therapist were good , just horrible service for such a prestiges Hotel and Spa. I didn't not sign up for a spa month special. I paid top dollars and got a one star service.

Yelp
What was supposed to be a relaxing day with the girls, started off pretty horribly. We were scheduled for a morning yoga class followed by a day of pampering, but when we arrived the yoga room was "not available" so they put us outside on a patio. The problem was that this patio was right next to the dumpster. We spent the first 1/2 hour of the class listening to garbage trucks emptying out dumpsters...crashing glass, slamming metal, and loud beeping, from the truck. We could hardly hear the instructor who was just a few feet away. The yoga instructor, who was fantastic, felt really bad and called the manager after we complained. The manager really is the one who ruined the day for us. When she arrived, her snarky attitude and unapologetic demeanor really made a bad situation worse. Her comment of "its not our fault that the garbage trucks came at this time" was really unacceptable. Then she suggested that we just come back another day. Seriously? She could have easily mitigated this bad situation by apologizing and having some tact. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Instead, she acted as if we were the unreasonable ones. Begrudgingly she moved us to another space- the living room of a hotel suite. After moving some furniture out of the way, we did our best to all fit. Mistakes happen, it's how one handles them that matters. The manager failed and We won't be back!!

Yelp
I am a Miami Spa Month enthusiast and always look for places that are new and offer spa experiences. Tierra Santa did not disappoint. Upon arrival the spa reception takes up a lot of space with big open windows overlooking the ocean. The decor is eclectic and draws ties from many Latin American countries. There are lovely couches indoors and lounge chairs outdoors for relaxing. There is also a spa store with lots of goodies that tend to be expensive as most Miami Beach hotel stores are. Once you check in you are led to the lockers and then to the pre-spa ritual experience area. There is so much to do there and you could easily spend a few hours relaxing before or after your treatment. Start with the beautiful and oppulent hammam. Tiled in marble and offering just the right amount of heat it was a perfect place to sit. Adjoining there is a steam room, a self scrub area (scrubs can be purchased and arranged with front desk), a tepidarium to lie and relax, temperature controlled water showers and an ice room. They keep it clean and stocked with water to drink and its important to note that this is unisex and communal so wearing a bathing suit is required. When you are ready for your treatment they move you into a quiet and equally plush waiting area with tea, water, snacks, etc. I didn't have to wait for long before my technician arrived and took me in. some of my friends had rooms that overlooked the ocean, I was in a windowless room so I guess there is a variety of spaces. The massage wasn't terrible but wasn't great- I have had better. I think it is important with all spa treatments to be vocal about what you want to make sure it is worked on. It is because of this and the lack of access to the hotel pool that my review is a four star and not five.

Yelp
Started off really great, attentive service, spa attendant was amazing. We purchased a set of scrubs and products $65 each what I expected to be a whole tray of treats and got 3 ramekins that someone else got their hands on by the time we went to rinse off the scrub in the waterfall shower where two of the units weren't working. The deep tissue massage was fantastic, the facial was incredible. After the first couple of treatments we had 2 hours till the mani/pedi and decided to have lunch at the bar - attentive service, mediocre drinks and poor quality food - the prawns were awful, the skirt steak was not quality meat - not grass fed, the grapefruit arugula salad was very good. We expected much better quality food for $240 lunch with 4 drinks. The website describes the manicure pedicure services as the newest product and design enhanced. It took 3.5 hours for my mani/pedi and my husband was running out of patience. My dipping powder polish was removed with a nail file and there were no proper tools to remove gel/dipping powder. The mani pedi totaled $160 and was absolutely non impressive. The technician was the nicest person in the world, unfortunately she's not given proper tools for a quality service. To me the newest, most advanced designs mean - dipping powder, chrome polish availability. The chairs for mani pedi were extremely uncomfortable and 3.5 hours there were a torture. On top of it I ended up with bloody, aching fingers. What started off as a completely awesome experience and us wishing to become Rose members ended with an $800 bill for 3 treatments and a bad day at a spa. Got charged extra for vallet parking since stayed there more than 4 hours for my longest in life manicure that should have taken 1.5 hours at the most. We didn't even have access to the pool or gym. The only reason I am not giving this place one star is the professionalism and excellent service from Tiarsida's facial and Yabaale's massage. We used to go Pao a lot and loved it. Now Faena is off of our list.
