Very cute, clean and friendly place to stay in the heart of San Blas. I highly recommend. Walking distance to Cusco Plaza with lots of great restaurants along the way. The breakfast at the hotel was awesome! The staff went of their way to ensure our visit was pleasant. Even located my phone charger and set aside for me to pick up.

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Tierra Viva Cusco San Blas, which we used as our base while traveling around Peru. Each time we returned, we requested the same twin room, which was spacious, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed. We loved the traditional atmosphere of both the rooms and the building.||We especially appreciated the hotel’s eco-friendly touches, such as glass bottles of water in the room instead of plastic and refillable shampoo and body soap dispensers in the shower. Breakfast was great as well. As vegans, we were very happy with the variety: plenty of cereal, bread, olives, plant-based milk, and much more.||The location couldn’t be better, just a minute’s walk from Plazoleta San Blas and about five minutes from Plaza de Armas. Another important highlight for us was the variety of vegan restaurants nearby.||The hotel was very quiet, and we enjoyed relaxing in the patio and cozy garden, reading on the deck chairs while taking in the beautiful view. The staff were consistently kind and helpful, and it was extremely convenient to be able to store our luggage for free while we were away on trips.||The only downside was that late check-out wasn’t possible. Because our flight left in the evening, we had to pay for an extra night (we asked for a discount, but it was refused) to keep the room until 5 PM, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the overall value is very good for what the hotel offers.||We would definitely recommend this place!

Can’t speak highly enough. Rooms were clean and well appointed and breakfast excellent. Hotel centrally located to historic plaza. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and proactively checked on our experience and needs. We check in and out and back in several times during our trip, and the staff anticipated that with no hiccups. If we return to Peru there’s no question that we will be staying at Tierra Viva.

I had an unforgettable experience at Tierra Viva Cusco San Blas, not only because of the charming and cozy environment, but especially thanks to the incredible staff. Just hours before my flight, I accidentally left my phone in a taxi — a moment of panic! But thanks to the hotel’s quick-thinking front desk team, especially Carmen, everything was handled with calm, professionalism, and amazing efficiency. They acted immediately, contacted the driver, coordinated everything, and within a very short time, I had my phone back in hand and made it to my flight on time. I truly don’t know what I would have done without their help. The hotel itself is beautiful — clean, peaceful, and full of warm, traditional touches that make you feel the spirit of Cusco. The rooms are cozy, the design is classic and tasteful, and the atmosphere is welcoming and tranquil. I’m deeply grateful to Carmen and the team. Their kindness, calmness under pressure, and professionalism left a lasting impression. I highly recommend Tierra Viva Cusco San Blas to anyone visiting Cusco. Not only will you have a lovely stay — you’ll also be in the care of genuinely wonderful people.

This boutique hotel is set in a nice location to stay in, off the main sights but walking distance, with two little interior patios / lawn and we got a room that had a juliet balcony onto the street. The daily breakfast buffet was good and the reception are had 24/7 coca leaves and hot water. The day we had a 3am pickup, they made us a breakfast to go bag. They also organized a cab for us to take to the airport. Reception is staffed 24/7 and the workers are very friendly and try to help where they can. I would def recommend this hotel!

I love this hotel! Every time I visits Cusco this is my home away from home. ||The staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms and common areas are great and cozy. Love the patio! ||San Blas is, in my opinion, the best place to stay in Cusco.

We only stayed 2 nights but it was a comfortable stay, aside from 1 mosquito we did find the first night and luckily eliminated. We had a corner room that was very big and clean. The only slight issue was the tub can be slippery when showering and we had to be very careful climbing out of it as well. But overall was a nice stay and breakfast was ok. There wasn't always someone cleaning the tables but there were enough free tables when we were there.

Really lovely welcome from the Tierra Viva team. The San Blas hotel is only a few minutes walk from the old Plaza.||Room was small, but super comfortable beds.||Very thoughtful touches with the small chocolate on the pillow each night, the bottled water bottles and cookie!||Breakfast was basic, but fine.||Great hotel to base yourself in Cucso for a few nights
