I mistakenly booked two nights at this hotel, intending to reserve a room at the Tierra Viva Miraflores Mendiburu. As soon as I realized my error—within two minutes of confirming the booking—I canceled it and immediately contacted customer service to explain the situation and request a refund. Given that the booking was active for such a short time, I believed a refund was warranted.
After waiting for over half an hour to speak with a representative, I was informed that my case needed to be escalated as they were not authorized to process such a request. Following the escalation, the hotel denied my refund. Essentially, I was charged for a three-day booking despite the immediate cancellation, which feels like I was robbed.
