We recently discovered that this place is under new ownership and were a bit skeptical at first. However, we’re so glad we decided to give it a try! The new owners just moved from Rome, and the food is absolutely outstanding. It was well worth the 40-minute drive!

Hands down the best food in Montezuma. The pizza was 11/10, the owners and team showed us the kitchen and taught us how pizza is made in Italy, and overall this place is a slice of Italy smack in the middle of paradise. If you want fresh food that makes your taste buds melt, this is your spot. Thank you for all you do!!

An excellent place for all types of celebrations- friends, family, date night. Amazing food. Must do: caramelized onions, Tierra y fuego pizza, bolognese, panacota

Wow! What a special Italian restaurant nestled in a beautiful area. The food and service was outstanding! We went the first night opening with the new owners. We loved every bite. Started with a bottle of white wine. Our appetizer we ordered two Suppli (rice & mozzarella croquettes) then for dinner a pepperoni pizza and bolognese lasagna. The lasagna portion was for two. And so delicious! Looking forward to going back and trying other dishes. ❤️🥂

This was perfect. The best restaurant I tried in Costa Rica. This is real, authentic Italian food and I could see it and taste it clearly. Had the bolognese and was blown away. The owners are lovely, we had a great conversation with them, you can tell they put a ton of pride and work into this place. Would definitely recommend visiting if you're in the area, it's worth it.
Loved the bolognese and the tiramisu.

Wow!!! A small slice of Italy in the jungle. Blown away by this place. Everyone is Italian and the food is outstanding. Pizza is made fresh in a stone oven. Pizza is 10 out of 10. Didn't expect to find Italian food like this. They do great vegan options too.

Got recommended by italian friends as the best food they had on their trip. So this sounded like a must-go! The road to go there was a bit challenging but all worth it! We liked the ambience a lot. The food was a bit more pricey than other places in CR, but it was reallly good in my opinion!

We luckily found this place after another restaurant was closed. It has a very nice ambience, super friendly staff. We found gluten-free pasta and had some meat, so gf and df no problem, but not the pizza (that looked really good by the way). Can recommend!
