Stayed here for 1 night and had afternoon tea. Absolutely beautiful building especially having been decorated for Christmas. Was greeted at the front bar very a very pleasant lady (sorry can't remember her name but is an Australian ). Afternoon tea was good (I'm a bloke and felt out of my comfort zone,but really enjoyed the experience). Then checked into the room by another extremely pleasant lady who gave us complimentary cocktail vouchers. The room itself was huge,with Absolutely everything you needed for a pleasant stay, the bathroom was massive too, with good pressure and hot shower. We will definitely be returning next year. Surprise 40th birthday for my son. My first time in this venue. Table was booked for 5:30. I arrived early with my partner. Went to the bar just inside the door for a drink whilst waiting for the Table and the rest of the family. Mocktail was perfect. First impressions..perfect location, perfect atmosphere and perfect decor. We were shown to our table. The interior is massive and beautiful designed. Intimate, buzzing and warm. Private rooms very busy as well. Service was outstanding, food well presented and delicious. Great place for a 40th birthday.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Tigerlily! Staff went above and beyond making us feel welcome for this special birthday trip and especially accommodating our food allergies. They even had a birthday card and balloons waiting for my husband celebrating his 50th! They also got us a room on an upper floor as we were worried about noise and we never heard a peep! The lounge areas and restaurant are decorated so chicly!! Loved them- so many interesting textures and patterns that all look wonderful together. Great location close to everything- easy walk from train station and close to Rose Street and all the major sites but not in the fray or hyper touristy zone. Breakfast was included in our booking and the choices were amazing, tasty and served by the most sweet and pleasant staff. I was even given the chance to try haggis in a low pressure environment (haha) and loved it! Thank you all for making it a very special first visit to Edinburgh and a magical 50th birthday trip! We will definitely book with you again should we be lucky enough to return.

Arrived with welcoming reception staff ready to take our luggage, settled into fab room. Locality is excellent, near enough to Princes Street, far enough away to be quiet at night. Breakfast was lovely, very filling. Meal during first evening was also great. Cannot fault any aspect of the hotel, food or staff. Would I go back - in a heart beat!

The hotel was situated in the perfect place to explore the city. We chose the Mini suite and the room was perfect, large and clean with everything we needed. The bathroom was gigantic. The restaurant was beautiful and the breakfast was a little different than we are used to but they let us choose exactly what we wanted every morning! Overall very comfortable stay.

This was a last minute booking to stay with friends. It wasn't cheap but then nothingis in Edinburgh. We couldn't check in early, but they did take our bags and deliver them to the room. The rooms are good and spacious but we needed to know how to turn off the air con, cos it was a bit noisy. The beds are huge and comfortable. Hair dryers and straightners as standard. The coffee machine doesn't get water hot enough to make tea, so could do with a proper kettle. Also need a few more tea bags to be available without asking.

Had a brilliant one night stay, staff were so helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful and bed super comfy. They had a deal on food £10 lunch and £15 dinner, amazing, food was delicious and wine very reasonable. Special mention to Cath and Jess who were super helpful. 5 star for everything, would highly recommend.

We hosted our first POI event here and the venue was absolutely incredible, so much attention to detail. The team were absolutely amazing and couldn't have done any more for us. The food, drinks, team, venue... an amazing experience. Thank you!
