"It’s enough to make the rest of Edingurgh’s hotels feel a bit buttoned-up by comparison. Though it’s hidden away inside a listed Georgian townhouse, you’ll know Tigerlily instantly — it’s the one Georgian townhouse with a line out the door, composed of revelers waiting to get in to Lulu, the nightlcub down in the basement." - Tablet Hotels

Had a brilliant one night stay, staff were so helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful and bed super comfy. They had a deal on food £10 lunch and £15 dinner, amazing, food was delicious and wine very reasonable. Special mention to Cath and Jess who were super helpful. 5 star for everything, would highly recommend.

Tigerlily was a great place to stay in Edinburgh. The location is centrally perfect and very easy to get to on the tram or bus from the airport. ||The decor is unique, fun and stylish. The bedrooms are wonderfully equipped and a good size. The staff were friendly and helpful adding to the positive atmosphere. We ate dinner there two of the three nights and the food was excellent. Also, lots of great choice for breakfast and they were so hearty we didn’t need to eat anything else before dinner.

So happy we have chosen this hotel. Location is perfect, new town, many shops and restaurants, lively crowd. Beautifully decorated, colorful flowers everywhere. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Coffee , teas and cookies complementary and a fully stocked bar. Huge bathroom with walk-in shower. We had extensive hot breakfast included in our rate, much more on the savory side but still plenty of choices even for sweet tooth. Breakfast staff very attentive. Noteworthy the remarkable help of David the Manager as a/c stopped working in our room. He did his best to make us feel comfortable by bringing a portable a/c unit to the room. We appreciate it very much. All in all we highly recommend Tigerlily. Lovely.

I cannot express how AMAZING this Hotel is. I had been following on Social Media for quite a few years and had the opportunity to stay Thursday night for the AC/DC concert... Oh My Goodness! It was absolutely stunning! The staff are top tier! So welcoming and warm, the food was lovely, the cocktails are out of this world!! The suite was incredible, the facilities were perfect! Myself and my partner were lucky enough to book this hotel just a few days before we were due to arrive as we secured last minute tickets to Oasis (woop woop!), with it being so last minute, we stayed in a Classic Double as this was the only room type left.||Room review:|I had no idea what to expect from the room as there wasn’t much pictures of our room type on the website so I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door to find PINK decor (if you know me you’ll know I would have been in my element with this). For a full room tour, check out my reel on Instagram - @sls_seasipsavour||The room was spacious and had a decent sized wardrobe, HUGE bed, coffee machine, TV, great selection in the chargeable mini bar and complimentary water at each side of the bed.||The bathroom was also a decent size and I love how the shower section was a big wet room. The bathroom with stocked with Laura Thomas co. toiletries (these were lovely!!) and the room also had robes and slippers for us both which was a nice touch!||We were on a 1st floor room, so we did hear a little bit of music from downstairs, but it's only because we were awake at the time after getting back from the concert. It didn't bother us in the slightest and the corridor was super quiet so that was a bonus.||The hotel was in a great location and wasn't super crowded or noisy in the surrounding streets. It's within walking distance from the Castle, Train station, St James' Quarter and the tram station on princess street. If you're looking for great shopping, plenty restaurants and bars nearby - this is a great base to stay!||I had seen a few reviews mentioning the decor in a negative light and I found it to be the complete opposite - I LOVED it! It was vibrant, fun and inviting. We did head down to the bar before the concert to have a few drinks and managed to get a seat at the bar, the staff were great and the service was quick considering it was so busy! It really is a place for everyone, we are in our mid 20's and found there was a huge range of ages in there in the afternoon. Next time we will have to come back and try the food - it looks great!||TOP TIP - if you stay at the hotel during the fringe festival, you get free wristbands which give you access to cheap cocktails and food from selected bars and restaurants in the area!

We chose the mini suite room and it was amazing - spacious, clean, and comfortable (big enough to swing a few cats!). We booked for a 50th birthday and the team made our stay and day incredibly memorable. We also ate at the restaurant, which was equally fantastic. I honestly couldn't write a review that would fully capture their level of professionalism. The hospitality was outstanding, the room was spotless and quiet, and we couldn't have been happier.

Service could be better. Walked into the bar and no one appeared to be serving. A member of staff walked by and didn't acknowledge us. We walked through to the back and asked if someone was serving to be told the bar was closed and you had to go through the back. An acknowledgement or a sign at least would've been helpful!

While the service was great (our server was so kind!) and the food was good, the music was so loud that we had to shout at each other. We were there for afternoon tea at 15:00, and while I don't like loud music in the evening in bars either, I thought this was absolutely ridiculous. We did ask our lovely server to ask to turn the music down, but apparently the manager decided to turn it up because it got even louder.
