Tigerlily

Beautiful hotel with the nicest staff, we stsyed here as the final day of our honeymoon. We stayed on 2nd floor in a Beautiful room. We had booked the valentines set menu and it did not fail us we loved the food and drinks. We were in a table tucked away in a darker area but didn't mind too much it was very romantic. The service was slow but that could be forgiven as it was extremely busy and they made up for this with an additional drink. After the meal we went to the bar area and had more cocktails and then went to our room.|The fire alarm went off at midnight 😒 noone came to check and we made our way to the fire check point to find out it was the smoke machine and it had happened previously. A short while later we went back in and back to bed. |The shower is amazing and the fact they use refill bottles for shampoo etc made me happy. |The breakfast was amazing and I would like to praise all the kitchen staff as all the meals were spot on.|Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back.

Was really looking forward to this booking for the Gin Hendricks bar then dinner with family for my mum's birthday. Firstly told no sash etc as not allowed and arrived and there was a hen party in with sashes on and a veil as well as other birthday sashes so absolutely ragin to beginning with. Booking in Hendrick from 615 to 7 but at around 640 they came in and started to decorate for an event which left is feeling very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I was told when booking we had to leave for an event at 7 but no mention of this being organised while present. Awaiting surprise guests for my mum's birthday restaurant staff room is to the table claiming they knew nothing about this. Bit of a shame. Really loud party somewhere in the place with a woman's laugh for 40 minutes during dinner which was really irritating even my 10 year old commented on this. Poor service difficult to get anyone for drinks round and the bill. I was expecting better given the reputation and review. Only positive was the bouncer Alan who went above and beyond and I mean this for helping out elderly relative get downstairs and into a taxi what a gentleman with such wonderful patience and communication skills made our night. As for the rest of it a bit of a met down. I had advise of this being special for my mum's birthday no mention to her of a happy birthday not even a wee note on the table or a prosecco or anything to make it special was really let down and spent over £300. Looks beautiful for photos shame about the service doesn't seem to match .

Having stayed at various hotels around Edinburgh, I thought it was time I triedTigerlily. From the moment we arrived the team were just fantastic. Not only did I receive a free upgrade but also a complimentary drink as it was my birthday. The team couldn’t have been better, with a special mention to Mya for looking after me.||The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable, something you don’t often get in hotels! Fantastic location and I will definitely be back. ||Thanks everyone for making the experience so eventful and memorable.

We had the best experience here for cocktails on 2 of our nights staying in Edinburgh. Jules and the team are absolutely perfect, very attentive, very friendly. They make it a home from home. The cocktail menu is huge and if your cocktail isn't on there I'm sure they'll make it. We will visit Tigerlily every time we visit Edinburgh without doubt!

This is our first stay at Tigerlily and what a lovely stay we had. Everything is just class - beautiful decor throughout hotel, huge comfortable bed, large bathroom with big walk in shower. Breakfasts we could not fault, everything was tasty and cooked to perfection. We didn't have dinner here but will if we return.|Staff were up there with the best. They were all very attentive, professional and friendly. Would love to visit again.

Loved the interiors- great vibes for 40th or 50th celebrations but quite noisy to stay the night - take ear plugs! Beautiful rooms with breakfast service and gorgeous towelling gowns and toiletries. Central and more than comfortable! Treat yourself and see sister sites.

Hotel was great, food tasted good,but my wife is celiac and they were told of this. When we mentioned it they investigated what could have happened made all the right noises about how they normally do things. Unfortunately she was served gluten they were very nice gave us a complimentary late checkout. Really feel they should have been a wee bit more sympathetic and at least deduct 1 of our meals as we ordered 1 gluten free which we didn't have.

First Visit and I would go back. I didn't stay here. I had afternoon tea which was reasonably priced at £30 per person. The service was excellent. The decor was also really nice. I didn't order anything other than the afternoon tea so can't comment on cocktails and meals. It's also in a great location.
