A great location with good food and solid aesthetic with the modern, neon light filled decor, great day specific events with Quiz nights being one of the highlights. The service in this particular Tigers Milk needs improvement as on all occasions having visited, you constantly need to remind the waitresses of what you ordered, and extended waiting times for orders. Other than that, a recommended spot for both social and work events.

Slow relaxed service but not sure if it's a SA thing. Drinks were cold and tasty. My kids enjoyed their chicken strips and fries. I got the chicken burger and it was okay. The sweet potato fries could have been seasoned. Overall a decent meal.

Food is excellent. We all had burgers, highly recommend the bacon jam burger as well as the Mexican cowboy burger. Cocktails are always on point, their cosmo and pornstar martini is great. Music is vibes and atmospheric. Food takes a little time to come out but it’s well worth the wait. Prices are great considering the quality you receive. Always a good place to go to grab a mid day lunch or if you want to get together with friends for drinks and food. Service is solid too. Was nice to see some events coming up (quiz night). Overall 9/10 and a great place to go overall regardless of what time.

Visited in December 2024. South Africa. Capetown. We were drawn to this restaurant by its highly-praised burgers. The spacious interior, featuring an open-plan layout, abundant greenery, and ample seating, is both inviting and airy. The open kitchen, a definite plus, allows diners to observe the culinary preparations firsthand. The Food: While the menu extends beyond burgers to include appetizers, pizzas, steaks, and seafood, our focus remained firmly on the Wagyu burger, a signature dish. Each burger is served with a side. The burger's presentation was excellent: a juicy patty nestled within a perfectly toasted brioche bun. The Wagyu patty possessed a rich, meaty flavor, though it lacked the expected succulence and tenderness; the texture was somewhat coarsely ground, with noticeable chunks of meat. However, the sauce, along with the addition of sweet onion jam and bacon, considerably enhanced the burger's overall flavor profile, complementing the cheese and vegetables to create a satisfying culinary experience. The accompanying signature salad, featuring cabbage and beans with crispy fried onions, was a delightful addition. We also sampled the prawns in a lemon-butter sauce. While the prawns themselves were small and served in their shells (requiring some peeling), they were expertly cooked; the sauce worked exceptionally well with the delicate prawn meat. Service: The service was friendly and efficient, with our server offering helpful recommendations. Despite a slightly longer than average wait time, the overall dining experience felt relaxed and welcoming. Conclusion: This restaurant offers a pleasant ambiance and delicious food, creating a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. We'd be keen to try their other burger offerings, hoping to encounter a more tender patty. Highly recommended, particularly if you are in the neighborhood.

Stopped by Tiger’s Milk on Kloof Street and honestly, it wasn’t great. The space is extremely loud—especially on weekends—which makes it hard to have any proper conversation. We could barely hear our waiter, who also didn’t introduce himself or make much effort to engage with us. Customer service is seriously lacking. The food and drinks are overpriced for what you get. Nothing stood out, and it definitely doesn’t justify the high prices. To make matters worse, the place is filled with hookah smoke. Nearly every table had a pipe going, and the smell hangs heavy in the air—definitely not ideal if you’re not into that. At this point, it feels like they’re riding on their location more than on quality or service. There are far better options nearby if you’re looking for a good meal and atmosphere without the noise and smoke.

Good atmosphere. Just didn’t understand why the host is seating everyone in the sofas if people are coming for lunch. I asked to move to a table as soon as my food showed up Food: from 1 to 5, I give 1,5. Ordered a stake. Biggest fail: meat cooking point. Ordered medium well, it came well done. Dry, bad consistency. They really don’t know how to barbecue. Side food: fried onion, I didn’t ordered by it came anyway (I don’t eat fried food). Didn’t eat, tooo greasy. Side salad, expecting for a fresh lemon seasoned lettuce, but it came drown in white sauce, yogurt maybe, too heavy for a summer day. Wouldn’t come back. There were really better places around Kloof St. Left 30% of the dish for trash due lack of flavor. Wine: great rose, not impressive.

Tiger’s Milk on Kloof Street is your go-to for relaxed dude food done right. Their juicy burgers (look out for the Triple Bypass), freshly pulled‑pork tacos, and craft beers hit the spot after work or on the weekend. Casual courtyard seating, big screens, beer pong and pool make it feel like home. Staff like Malcolm and Sipho bring energy and efficiency to busy nights. It gets loud and packed—food quality can vary—so go early or be fine with clinking glasses and high volume. Overall, a solid 4‑star pick for fun, food, and a chilled social scene.
