The Coastguard House with Fiona is absolutely gorgeous. The accomodation is clean, well equipped, and having fenomenal view onto the bay. You get everything what can be needed for a long weekend.

We got lost and stumbled across this gold mine. Absolutely fantastic!! Sean and Fiona are the funniest and friendliest couple in Ireland. If you're lucky, Jim (a local gentleman) will be at the bar. Absolutely the best pub in all of Ireland.

We just stopped for tea, and had it outside. The barman was really friendly and good humored. Lovely location with great views of the beaches all around the bay.

A large restaurant with tons of seating inside. There are also tables on the front deck/porch, and they put picnic tables along the road on the harbor side when the weather is nice. The place is bright and airy and they have a great menu plus daily specials. Lots of seafood options. I tried hake for the first time. It was meaty and moist and flavorful. It was served with chips and a fresh side salad. My husband enjoyed the healthy seafood chowder -- not the creamy variety. It said it was a nice variation. He followed it with a seafood pasta dish. Everything was fresh, the service was great, the location is excellent. There's also a full bar.

TPs was THE highlight of my trip to Ireland. If you're looking for a good pub with great people, off the beaten path-this is it. Ronan went far out of his way to make sure we felt welcome and shared an expansive knowledge of the area with us. A true Iriah experience. If I could give 10 out of 5.

We had our wedding here and it was the most amazing day. Fiona and Sean couldn't of been more accommodating or helpful! The location is absolute bliss, beautiful rooms looking onto the beach and the staff are so friendly and inviting. Radka, the lady who runs the kitchen did an amazing job on all the food, many compliments and full bellies 🥰 I would recommend this spot to anyone who want a more relaxed beachy vibe wedding. ❤️

Yelp
Nice little pub to stop by for a quick drink or bite after your Slea Head drive. We stopped by for a drink after visiting the beach right next to it. There are picnic tables that are somewhat sheltered by glass for you to enjoy your drinks outside. The views of the water and cliffs are gorgeous and you can't ask for a better backdrop to enjoy a drink. There are a few spots for parallel parking on the side of the street. We had a very large van and ended up using the lot at another bar that was right before the beach.

Yelp
Following an amazing Ballydavid Cliff walk we took a chance at TIGH and are so glad we did! Beautiful setting with views of the beach and sea, and gorgeous landscape from our large picnic table. We had prompt, courteous service from very thoughtful staff. We ordered almost everything on the menu (table of five) and I devoured a great chicken caeser salad (and stoke some very good chips!). Everyone enjoyed their meals, took in the views and several stuck their toes in the sea. Worth a hike to have a great meal. Nice, clean bathrooms as well!

Yelp
This was a good accident - as I was hiking through Ireland unfortunately it was a bad storm and we lost our marker but end up being the right place to be at. We entered in dripping from the storm - they welcomed us with smile and HEAT; thank goodness. Prices are so so but it's a bar and they weren't too bad to be honest. Doubling rating here.... (Dine-in / ordered to-go "take away") Dining in - food was good and fast; employees were super nice. (4 stars) Ordered "Take away"... (2 stars) Ok let me tell - initially after waiting until I can check in; I just chilled here and order lunch. After I was ready to go; I asked to put in an order and just take it with me then eat it later. The cook suggested I just order and they'll bring it around the corner to my B&B at 6pm - I told him it was fine I can get it now and he said "no no you want hot food and not reheated"; so I took his suggestion. Placed my order and paid, then left - well it's now 6:30pm and no food. I told my host and stated never do take-away from there because they will forget about you since they are a little unorganized. **So now you know** Happy Eating!!!

Yelp
Fun place right on the water. Quiet restaurant during the day. They have a full menu and pub. Good service. Fresh fish and homeade dishes.

Yelp
If you find yourself in western Ireland looking for a hidden gem, this is it! 4 of us randomly found this place while driving down random roads around dingle - and we all agree that it was the best Seafood Stew of the entire trip - - not to mention that it was the best French Onion soup any of us could remember eating in our entire lives. The owners is a great conversationalist- make sure you sit at the bar. He apparently also has a hostel of some type, we were already staying a few mile away but will be staying here next time no doubt. Do Not Miss It!

Yelp
Really enjoyed this pub. They have a great menu and the food was wonderful. Everyone that we spoke to was friendly and had a wonderful sense of humor. We came back for round two on our second night in town because we had such a lovely evening. They have a nice view out the many windows of the bay, so you can't forget you're in beautiful Dingle. When, not if!, we go back to Dingle, we will definitely be making a stop at Tigh TP.

Yelp
The menu does not match the description. Shrimp scampi is 6 fried shrimp on a bed of fries (chips) or (should be called a lunch shrimp basket for no more than $8 but charged us $20) Seafood "chowder" is a seafood version of chicken noodle soup (broth based) and definitely not a chowder. The food all in all was ok, but waiting over 90 minutes for food and not getting what you asked for was beyond disappointing. Just beware. Cool atmosphere, ok food, but just know what you're getting into before you go. We're checking out the bar across the street to see if we can't find real food before we leave town.

Yelp
Been here and had great service along with great fish and chips. Beautiful views of the Atlantic right from the deck. A fine selection of draught Beers including Guinness.

Yelp
Tigh TP is the quintessential pub of the Dingle Peninsula, and this explains why it's crowded most of the time- day or night. The place doubles as a pub and a restaurant, and there is also accommodation available from the same people- some nice, building-based accommodation in the same area as the pub, and a cheaper camping option down the road (where I stayed). The atmosphere at the pub is always really nice, and on a nice summer day, there is nothing better than sitting outside enjoying your pint whilst taking in the amazing sea views. Truly special. The home cooked meals on offer are really tasty. The quality of the food is excellent, with locally sourced fish particularly recommended. Prices are decent- relatively high by Irish standards, but just fine for this touristy peninsula in the summertime. You must pop into Tigh TP if you're anywhere close to this beautiful part of Ireland. Sláinte!

Yelp
Best seafood we had on our trip. Wonderful atmosphere everyone was friendly and made you feel welcomed.

Yelp
The fish is right off the boat, literally. Plus the staff is as Irish and hospitable as you imagine

Yelp
Great little seaside pub without much else around. Great service and good. Small menu and mostly seafood. Good view out the front window. Not much else nearby so probably gets busy at times. Burger was above average. My wife would recommend the prawn scampi.

Jason B.

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere and the fish was excellent. If you are up for back roads of Dingle, seek this place out - you'll be glad you did!

Yelp
Took a trip around Dingle today which was super. Arrived in the nicest village BallyDavid (Baile na nGall) where we found Tigh T.P. the locals actually speak Irish here. We were having such a good time that we decided to stay in their lodge The CoastGuard. It's really nice and just behind the pub. The view is breath taking and the air so fresh with a salty taste, because it's right on the beach. Rooms are lovely and beds comfertable only draw back we'll have to make our own breakfast because it's self catering. I'm loving it!!!
