Excellent!! Good food, good selection of wines. My husband and I were in Budapest for NYE and we booked the Tigris for a meal. I was put off by being asked to come to the restaurant to pay for the meal in advance to confirm the table. I’ve never experienced this but we had little choice as most tables for any sort of fine dining had been booked out. Anyway this experience was soon forgotten by the lovely meal and the service. One thing that irritates me in posh restaurant is stuck-up waiting staff. But here the staff were friendly and laid back. Not too laid back to call you ‘guys’ :)). I quiet liked the dishes. Some unusual combinations and a trial of hot and cold with the starter- cold starter with warm scallops was my favourite.

Loved it. First of all, service was just perfect. We had the set menu which was mostly great. I didn't like some things but it was because I usually prefer to have different tastes than they served. My father loved the things I didn't, so guess it's a matter of taste. We also shared a wine pairing which was perfect.

Beautiful restaurant with good food and excellent service. I was sitting at a small table very inside. Unfortunately, I heard more voices from the kitchen than the background music. This is the reasoni I took away a star. Champagne and food quality were great. Recommended for those who like Hungarian food.

Elegant restaurant in the center of the city. Polite and helpful staff, pleasant environment. The soup was exceptional, the main dish I ordered was not the best I've eaten but could be that it was just not my style (too sweet probably). But every other dish was tasty and the deserts were amazing.

This restaurant have great food and excellent staff and chef is great. We had very nice experience in this cozy place. The overall food is 5 star and I must say Apple surprise desert made me really surprised. I will highly recommend this Michelin star restaurant to whoever visiting the Budapest.

Fantastic quality of food. The restaurant is specialized in Foie Gras dishes and probably as well the best address for this speciality in Budapest. For a fine dining experience the prices are reasonable. Service is attentive and nice.

Outstanding experience! We had 5 course degustation menu - it was very delicious culinary trip! Very professional staff, very good wine list and they have very knowledgable sommelier. Highly recommended!

We booked Tigris for NYE, I have to give a huge recognition to the lovely staff that made us feel so welcome! However the food was a bit disappointing and our nye dinner was way overpriced!!! The Hungarian wines were superb but the food was not. They claim to have the best foie gras, and that was the least dish we liked. :-( ... If you go, go for a glass of wine and a friendly welcome.
