the hotel location is good. I chose this location because I had work in the Seminyak area, and the proximity to the beach was a nice bonus.
However, I had a very bitter experience with the front desk staff during check-in and it really spoiled my experience in this hotel, i swear i wanted to move to another hotel next day, but i didnt, just ignore them was the best.
I have two main issues to raise:
1. Check-in Discrepancy: My Agoda booking stated check-in was after 2:00 PM. I arrived at 2:30 PM, only to be told by staff that check-in is after 3:00 PM. Please update your Agoda listing if this is your policy. And i read many guests had experience this issue for long time. No action from management?
2. Unprofessional Staff: The staff handled the timing issue poorly, becoming defensive and showing a bad attitude. More concerningly, when I returned at 8:30 PM, a different staff member argued that I had already checked in around 4pm and that they had given my key to a "companion." As a solo traveler, this was confusing and alarming.
Mr. Silva and Mr. Wijaya definitely need more training in customer service and professionalism
Other things to note
The room, the sound proof in the room is not the best, i could hear people walking or moving furniture above my room or on next rooms or if you get the room facing the road, you can hear noise from the road but luckily it didnt bother me much but for light sleepers it could be a big problem, bring your own earplugs. but the room was clean and had good hot shower. And the staff at the restaurant in general were helpful and friendly.
Will i come back? For its location probably yess but for their service maybe not.
