Tiki Bar & Grill

First time trying this and we enjoyed it. We had a great table at the deck and luckily there was no wait. As soon as we were seated, the line started growing but quickly people were being seated. We had the tiki tots as an appetizer and grilled shrimp basket and a smoking jalapeño burger for entrees. Food was great and there are different seating areas. Prices and portions were fair and the time waiting for our food was reasonable. Service was great!

An absolute gem of a place on the lake front. Friendly, helpful staff, delicious food and reasonably priced! The wings were fantastic. There aren’t a lot of tables so depending on your arrival time, you may have a little wait but you sit on a bench looking out on the lake while doing so. Highly recommend! Oh! And dog friendly!!

The Tiki Bar & Grill has great views of the lake — definitely the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food was really good. Just a heads-up: it’s not a full bar. They offer beer, wine, and a few pre-mixed cocktails, but you can’t order custom drinks (so no vodka soda or anything mixed on the spot). Still, it’s a great place to unwind and take in the view with good company and a cold drink.

This quaint bar and grill sits on a lake occupied by boaters, jet skiers and fishers. The burgers are juicy, the fries are seasoned and crispy and the beer is cold. The server was attentive and friendly. This establishment was a great place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon with friends.

The Tiki Bar & Grill is 100% a hidden gem in Minneola, Florida. Plus the atmosphere and the design of the restaurant is exactly what I expected given the name Tiki Bar. They even have the tiki drinks from the 90s which is super cool in my opinion. I enjoyed a delicious half pound thick and juicy cheeseburger with fries. I ordered it medium and it was cooked to perfection. The view was also amazing and has decorative lights. In the bar, there are televisions and you could also strike up a conversation with folks next to you including the staff. There is also seating just outside of the bar near the dock. I sat at the bar for lunch. I am glad that I visited this location while out of state enjoying my favorite state of Florida. I hope to return soon!

My absolute FAVORITE local spot. I love how it sits far from the road, the little path to get there creates excitement. The view from anywhere you sit is fabulous. Servers are all so kind and good at their job. They get very busy, sometimes you will have a wait with a bigger party, but it is totally worth it and they have a bench section on the dock while you wait. (see photo) I bring everyone who comes to visit me from out of state and they all have enjoyed the experience. I have tried so many menu items and it is honestly insane how good the food is for being a bar and grill. Try the shrimp salad, grouper fried, onion rings, fries, burgers of any kind, the DRY RUB WINGS, ( great bleu cheese with the wings btw), Good alcohol selection. We also jetski here for lunch. Great parking selection for jetskis and a whole dock for boats. They also have their own boat rental for half or full days on Lake Minneola as well. I genuinely get excited to go here every single time. Local treasure.

The place is beautiful but doesn't have too many tables, you have to go early. Our group was 11 people, and we have to divide it into 2 tables. The burger that I eat was good, but takes time to come.

You can't pass the Tiki Bar without stopping for a beer, a smile from all of their beautiful servers and maybe a bite to eat! I love the environment that's been created here. Pull your boat up on the weekend, bring the family or just show up on a random Wednesday. Either way, you'll be treated with the best view, awesome service and food to write home about. Dog friendly is an understatement. They love my Kona like their own! Your 2nd home awaits!

A great break from a wonderful day on the Claremont chain of lakes! Super friendly/service excellent- restrooms clean- food is on point!!! docking your boat no issue plenty of space and the bonus is we could still watch college football on Saturday!

I ordered a Jalepeno burger and tator tots. The food was very good and plentiful. Service was consistent and friendly; and it was beautiful watching the sunset. I have no complaints about my visit. It's a nice outing for any casual occasion.

Chill place to sit by the water and hangout. Food was fresh and yum and beer was cold. Staff was so friendly!

Great views, delicious burgers and fries, affordable beers and a wide variety available! Only downside is the wait time to be seated, but the server was very friendly!

I really enjoyed our time here this past Sunday! Seating is super limited in the bar area so be aware that you might need to wait a little bit before some seats open. But you can't beat the view and if you can, pick an area that you can see the water, it's so nice and serene. Our bartenders were the best. We never waited long between drinks. I wish they served liquor but the beer was cold and worked fine. They do have some patio seating and about 10 tables with chairs overlooking the dock. We got to stay for the sunset which was absolutely beautiful. I'm sad it's so far away but if I'm ever in the area I would definitely come back.

What a great place to grab some food and drinks! I did visit this place on a whim after being at a brewery nearby but I definitely consider this place a hidden gem. It's almost like a sandbar that's on land. You can even rent a boat. It's not the most glamorous of places but it does make me feel like I was transported back to the 90s on a lake in Arkansas. Mostly older folks, sadly it was cloudy and didn't get an opportunity to see a sunset. Solid recommendation!

Macaroni and cheese came out looking completely unique. It was absolutely delicious!!! We had great service and I was SO HAPPY to see they finally remodeled the bathrooms! That makes me want to come back so I can enjoy the pretty views. It's always a fun drive on the boat over to eat her for lunch.

Awesome outside location on the Lake Minneola. Good food & good service. My friend and I relaxed for several hours and were not rushed by staff.

Lake Minneola Tiki Bar & Grill has some amazing views, cold drinks, a friendly staff and these three factors made for a pretty stellar time. This area has certainly grown in the last decade or so. Lake Minneola Tiki Bar & Grill is a great part of this community and was an overall great experience. Amazing! Was in Clermont for work and stopped by after a yelp search for waterfront restaurants. I had a salad add jumbo shrimp, hubby had a Swiss bacon burger add tots!! They had my favorite Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, White Haven!! Service was excellent,(she took care of the entire patio), food was great!!! We will definitely be back!

This place is great to enjoy Florida! The inn in quaint and cozy, the food is great- beer chicken tenders! Drinks are good a decent prices. Service is local, fun and polite. No pics of food :( we jumped right in!

Best burgers and fries! In fact everything on the menu is delicious. The servers are so hard working, friendly and sweet. Next time management replaces the umbrellas try getting 9 footers that will give better coverage from the sun. Also suggest getting some umbrellas for those waiting for tables especially since the wait can be long, not that it isn't 100% worth it. One of our favorite places!

Everything about this place is great. Fun location on the water. It has an old Florida feel. The menu is limited, but the food is delicious. Our server was adorable and fantastic. It's way off the beaten path, but well worth searching for.

I was a little disappointed because I was at the bar, and my friend had asked for food for her and my other friend; I was looking away, so didn't notice, but the lady did not ask me if I wanted anything and left. Took me a while just to get a drink and we were trying to get back to the parade before it started. It was a little busy over there, but at the same time I've been a server and I would've said can I get you something or are you with them? It disappointed me for the fact that it took so long just to get a drink after that. I generally love this place and again I feel as if it was overly crowded and not enough help and because of the parade..

Great place to watch the sunset while enjoying delicious food and beverages. I had their hamburger and tater tots which have won awards. The service was good but laid back because they know everyone is staying awhile to watch the sunset. Get there early on weekends so you can get a table or sit at the bar.

Love this location! Even tho their parking is difficult, to say the least. There are huge catfish! Glad there is no fishing from the dock, but kids enjoyed trying to catch them with their hands lol. The food was good, loved their fries! Also, have boat rental available. The line for a table is first come first serve, which can be quite a long wait.

Great atmosphere but it's a little hard to find. It's behind the Inn. Parking lot is dirt/gravel. 8-10 tables and bar seating. It's right on the lake and there is no inside seating so if the weather is horrible forget about going here. Service was good and they were busy. I got the chicken finger basket which was huge. Ate less than half and brought the rest home. Soda is cans (no refills) but yea and lemonade is free refills. Lots of beer, seltzer etc options

Horrible experience, food was gross ordered the fish & chips, fish undercooked. Service was bad, bar staff was rude and insulting.

Today after golf we stopped with a few friends for drinks and food. Service was great and seats out on deck ok. Everybody was pretty happy with their meals but I had an issue. $30.00 for a fish sandwich? Are you kidding me? Based on market price! That's stupid! And I was stupid to ask what that price might be! Anywhere else it's $15.00! And "market price" for chicken wings? What is that? We may be back for a beer but never to eat again! You guys are a rip-off!!!!!

Awesome food and service. The manager is a standup gentleman! If you have a problem with the staff, look in the mirror. That's your problem.

It was ok food with an ok atmosphere. You can park your boat and eat which is fun. The food is ok. The service is very slow but they only have a few people to cover many tables. They don't write things down and forget what you ordered. Took a long time to get a water for our special needs son. Way too long to get water. I feel like the waitstaff would rather make friends than make tips.

Food is amazing! The volcano wings are the best if you like spicy! The service is great, I was well attended to. The manager came out and checked on me while eating. He was the best! The location is terrific. Great views of the lake.

This historic hotel has been incredible to stay in. It feels exclusive and unique right down to the furniture. I can't stop at that without talking about the delicious food with the original in house made sauces! I know that because the staff is super friendly and our service was excellent. Great wings and decent food. I wanted to give a shout-out to Amber who we booked a pontoon with on March 2, 2023. The weather turned and our 130pm reservation was cancelled due that weather issue of high wind. Amber called me at 10am and broke the news that we would not be able get out on the lake. Amber was extremely professional and I appreciated her judgement as I had my in laws on board at 80 years old respectively. We were able to enjoy the tiki bar later in the day which is why we found about the boat rental. Please through your patronage towards this locally owned institution as they have great fun, while be respectful of keeping people safe and well taken care of during your visit. Bartenders and servers are on point so show your love as they do while making efforts to ensure your enjoyment. Thanks again to all...

Food was fire, service was bad. Our lady waiter was alright but she was very slow. Didn't apologize once for our multiple long wait times (food and drink orders, waiting to pay). The other lady waitresses were very attentive to their tables while our table and another were waiting on her for everything. This might have been racially motivated, not sure tho.

This is one of the most amazing restaurants I've ever been to in my entire life. The food is amazing and the staff matches the food quality. The setting is absolutely beautiful. Went here for the first time in March and even going back now in August there have been no changes. If I could have my future wedding here I would. Overall, the staff and chef run a fantastic restaurant!

Went here with some friends after a full day of kayaking in Apopka. It was the perfect spot with its casual atmosphere. We knew that with the outdoor seating and boats pulling up at the docks, that we would fit right in with our shorts and sandals from the days activities. Beach hair, don't care! We were seated promptly, placed our orders with the friendly waitress and the food came out quickly. Off to a great start! I've lived in Minneola for 8 years and knew that the burgers and wings were always recommended on various Clermont review FB pages but had never tried them. Today, I decided to finally try a burger and went with the smokin jalapeño burger. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly and I enjoyed every juicy bit of it to the last bite. The burgers are usually served with fries but you can upgrade the side for a small fee to tots or onion rings. The tots were highly recommended and I'm glad that I chose them. They were perfectly crisp, generous in portion and seasoned well. One of my friends ordered the grilled tuna salad and she said it was amazingly good. I didn't grab a pic of the other meals at the table but everyone enjoyed the food. While you eat, you can enjoy the lake view and sunset, depending on the time of day. Next time I'm there, I am going to try the wings!

We love this little bar and wish it was closer to home, still always worth the drive. The perfect sunsets every time. The burgers, fries and Mac n cheese are actually really good. Our server Savannah was great, quick with drinks and provided just the right amount of attention. I did notice two servers with leg coverings, I realized that was for tattoos. I am personally not a tattoo person but feel cover tattoos at a job looks dumb. I'm a bit surprised at such a chill bar that would be required. ‍

Made our last trip to this great tiki bar on Lake Minneola. The service and view was great but the owners position on a simple item which in my case was "blue cheese dressing". I ordered 10 wings which one of the two choices (5or 10). When I got to the 5th wing I asked for more dressing but I was told it would cost $1.50 more. I was taken aback as if you order 5 wings you get one portion of blue cheese and if you order 10 wings you still only get one portion? Well I paid for the extra portion as the wings were dry rubbed. As I travel with a designated driver, my wife doesn't drink, I'm usually good for 4-5 Coors Banquets. This time I stopped at 2 and drink water, at no charge. I wouldn't tip on the dressing and I only tipped at 15% instead of 20-25%. For $1.50 the owner lost $15.00 in additional in beer sales. And our future business. I know times may be tough for some but I won't be penalized for poor business decisions. I was not the only patron that expressed concern about the same thing that day.

First time going there on Monday. I ordered the buffalo wings. They were really good and also they are jumbo wings. My husband got the burger and liked it a lot. Great atmosphere. They play a range of music and the views are amazing. They only have beer and wine, no hard liquor. Shannon was our server and she was super cool.

I wouldn't even give it a star If I could. Heard lots of bad things about the service in this place, how bad it was. I was here in the busy time of year It was crazy and ya waited 15 min to get a waitress. Not today, low level busy, I went to the bar for quicker service. So I thought. The bartenderess brought my beer in decent time but that was the end of the service. I had to ask twice for a menu that she finally brought bye coated with attitude cause I asked her twice for the menu. That's when her attitude really came out. Complaining about how she has to take care of this other half off the bar. Well by now I'm pretty much done with this place and it doesn't deserve my $16 for their burger. Had to get her attention to pay for the.beer that I had 3 sips out it. Finally I get her attention and says she's got my beer, with attitude of course. Well, that is the last time I go in that place. I know they won't go broke but the more and more negative post that show up on here maybe management may make a change. I doubt it though!

This is truly a gem on the lake. Laid back on the waterfront with some of THE BEST sunsets ever to be gazed upon. Great staff that remember who you are and what you fancy. Food has always been a hit. With a dock for unobstructed views of those sunsets. Casual is the name of the game here. So if you haven't been, you really don't know what you are missing! Right here in our backyard! Or lakefront! They also rent boats as well! Go on, rediscover a laid back hidden retreat, right under our noses! See ya there!

Went here a few months ago and it was a cute little place. Parking was very difficult. There was social distancing of the picnic tables but definitely no distancing by the bar, so if this is a concern of yours, I'd go elsewhere. I also don't know what it's like since going here in September. It took about 15 mins before we got a server to come over to us, but after that we had pretty quick service. The food was really good. Once COVID is over I would consider going back here, but unfortunately I probably wouldn't go back before then.

What a relaxing place to be. They have a small covered outdoor bar, a few tables just off the bar area next to the water, and an expensive lawn surrounded by very old and humongous oak trees. The trees limbs are far reaching and create a beautiful canopy with hanging moss to provide shelter from the harsh sun. Although the lawn was spacious, there was limited seating and the tables were a good 15-20 feet apart. There is a boat ramp to dock your boat if you want to stop by for bite or drink. The staff wore masks and were very pleasant. Service wasn't super fast but very good otherwise. We did t mind because we were relaxing and enjoying the view of the water, watching people jet skii, fish and being pulled along the back of a boat. The bathrooms are in a separate building not far from the bar. Between the bar and bathroom was a horseshoe pit. The beers were super cold, which made them worth waiting for on a hot day. The tots were amaze-balls! Seasoned perfectly, just the way I like them. We also ordered wings. They had several flavor options but we chose the seasoned dry rub. They didn't say what the seasoning was, but I should have asked. I can't say what it tasted like, because I really couldn't pinpoint any one seasoning, but I really didn't care for it. They were meaty, iuicy and cooked nice and crispy, so that was a plus. Blue cheese and ranch dressing made up for what I found to be the unpleasant taste of the seasoning. Next time I'll try the traditional flavors and stick to what I know. All in all we were happy to have come across this gem and would definitely come back again.

Been coming here for years, great staff, great food, great view!!! But won't be back until they ban smoking on the deck. 2 cigar smokers ruined lunch for every. Just stupid!!!!!

I don't know what kind of person wrote the reviews that brought this place to 3.5 stars but they are clueless... probably voted for deathsantis. Anyway we absolutely loved our lunch here and will be back if we're ever in the area, The red fish was fantastic and I would have liked cocktail sauce but the homemade tartar was out of this world.

I've been here many times because you can't beat the view. Recently went for wings and tater tots and they were delicious. Garlic teriyaki and garlic Parmesan wings were great!

Best view of Lake Minneola for lunch or dinner and ice old beer! Beside the view which is amazing even when it rains, the Wings with Specialty Sauce along with a side of Blue Cheese! Yum!

Wish we lived closer. We make the 35 mins drive to just have dinner and drinks and of course let the kiddos run around. We love it here

This place can't fail has great location simple menu done right and now they have improved on a few things I didn't like instead of self seating waiting in line and having a group walk up just as a table was leaving and grab a table 2-3 people were waiting for now the have a sign asking to wait for your server to seat you and the rest rooms have been re-done very clean I'm a guy so not that big of a deal but for the ladies it must have been like visiting an outhouse with a screen door
