Great atmosphere to kick back, watch the ocean and listen to some great tunes. We just dropped in for some drinks and listen to the live band. No food this time but the menu looks like it has a lot of great options. Lots of fun. Stop by if you’re looking for a place to relax.

Tiki Hut is such a lovely spot to unwind at the beach! The view of the ocean is amazing, and the live music makes for a really relaxing evening. They have great non-alcoholic options too, so there’s something for the whole family. Definitely a beautiful must-stop if you’re taking an evening walk around Hilton Head — perfect for enjoying the sunset and the peaceful beach vibes.

Fun beachside bar! It was busy when we visited, but the staff did a great job keeping up with everyone. The Blue Bay bucket drink was perfect for sharing, and the tots with queso and brisket were a delicious snack. I also appreciated that every table had shade, which made sitting outside comfortable. Definitely worth a stop while you’re at the beach!

This place was great! Walking distance from our rental, we spent a lot of evenings on the patio of Tiki Hut. Every drink we tried was delicious and service was great. Highly recommend to anyone visiting HHI. Located on the beach with views of the water and live music.

The Tiki Hut was a perfect beach lunch! We were able to walk up right from the water and get great food and drinks. Our food came out so fast and the live music was awesome! Would definitely recommend!

The atmosphere and location was great live music was awesome. My wife and I got the catfish that was the absolute worst catfish I have ate in my life. While my son got chicken Tenders and he said that they were not good either. We had to track our waitress down multiple times she was nice just not on top of things. Maybe other items on menu was better but what we had was not.

Stopped here long enough last night to have a couple of beers with a new friend that we had just met that day at another brewery. This place was on our list to stop in during the day one day, and we will still do that. It's a really great space! Update: went back in the daylight today. Beautiful day. Lots of great people watching. The music was fun. The bar was hopping. The drinks were delicious. The staff was friendly. Bartenders were attentive. We just drank Coronas and Modelo's. The band was pretty good. Didn't get a chance to try the food, but we will when we go back later this week.

Great beach bar, not a fair food critique because I just had some fried appetizers and I am not as much a fan of fried foods as I once was. They were tasty and everyone enjoyed. Atmosphere is amazing, on the beach, live music, fun crowd, and great service!

So we went here twice. Once for breakfast/brunch and the other for dinner. The atmosphere is top notch as you are right by the beach and can see a beautiful sunset as you can see. The customer service is really good. The brunch was fine. The little basket of baked goods was not grand but not sure what we expected with it. For dinner, the mahi mahi was quite delicious and cooked to perfection. 9/10 For the burger, it was a bar burger and there isn't anything wrong with it. 7/10 Overall, for the atmosphere, it's a 10/10, but the food isn't terrible. Pricey but expected with the location and tourist vibes. Live music is an extra boost.

Stopped at Tiki Hut today to check out what NFL games they had on. This was at suggestion of our Uber driver that his lived in area for several years. The place looked cool walking in. Open air with views of the ocean. We sat at the bar. The menu was limited for food and drink. No beers on tap. Didn't see anyone ordering food, so that was a red flag. After one beer and not very good service even though we were sitting at the bar, we decided to leave. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you want a decent view of the beach and a cold beer. Other than that, I would pass.

We were at the beach and did not want to get in the car just to grab lunch. It was conveniently located from where we were at the beach. Place was really nicely redone, has a great vibe, from its beach views to the live band. We were surprised that we were able to find a table quickly, given it was the height of lunch and the convenient location. Service was great, our waitress (a pretty blonde) was very attentive and helpful. Although there aren't a ton of things on the menu, the food was very good. We had the mahi and jerk chicken sandwiches with Caesar salads and the bacon smash burger with fries, a beer, soda and water. We also had the funnel cake, that we took to go. Prices were reasonable, as were the portions. Everything was great! Food came in cardboard boxes, which was less to fuss over and doubly useful when taking home leftovers. Would come back here again!

I heard this is a must experience when in Hilton head. I dropped by for an appetizer. I sat at the bar and listened to the live band. They were extremely busy so it took at solid moment to get my food. If you want a good beach experience this is the place to go!!

There was live music when we went, and seating was first come, first served. Very relaxed atmosphere as most people are here from the beach. Many people are even barefoot and in swimwear. We only stopped for some drinks, I got a mudslide that wasn't the best, but they have tons of options. This is good for what it is, but I personally wasn't a fan. A little too outdoorsy and sweaty for me!

We came to here every night on our Hilton Head vacay because it's attached to our hotel. There's live music daily from 5 to 10. The bands were pretty mediocre but did the trick just to vibe outside for a bit. The service wasn't that great on any night. It seems like they have a hard time keeping up with the crowd. It's definitely nice to hang at a beach bar right by the waves. Ambiance is all this place has going for it. We didn't eat, but the drinks aren't much to brag about.

5 stars for the atmosphere. I was also happy to see they had Nutrl, instead of the usual hard seltzers. 3.0 for the food. It was fine but nothing special. The pulled pork sandwich had a big hard piece in it and I didn't expect whatever was on top of it (green and white looking -- maybe a Cole slaw of some type but not like any slaws I've ever seen). The fries were hot (unlike some other reviews I've seen) and it only took about 10 minutes to get my food.

Great hangout spot for drinks and live music!!! Service and drinks were spectacular. The frozen drinks were spot on and the bar tenders were friendly.

Giant cinnamon roll for brunch! About as big as my daughter's face! The dough is more of a brioche dough, not your traditional bread dough. The drinks were good. I liked the lava flow. Couldn't taste the alcohol in it. It was a little confusing of if we sat ourselves or were waiting to be seated. And they forgot our silverware, so I had to find someone to get some. Live music on the beach was great.

Day time vibe ia amazing and its a great place to chill chat and enjoy the vibe. Dinner time get super crowded and very hard to get a drink but I will say the servers are AMAZING and HUSTLE like NO OTHER

Rating 5 for the sunset view. Drinks and Food I'd give a 3, fine but not amazing. Burger was pretty unspectacular.

Walked down the beach mid afternoon to get out of the sun for awhile. Great tiki bar experience, live music, lots of shade, we got a high top table pretty easily on a Tuesday afternoon. We had expensive but delicious cocktails, shared two appetizers, the Tiki salad & the coconut shrimp. Both were delicious! Hadn't had coconut shrimp in forever (lots of it on this island though) and they were delicious, great coconut breading, crispy, not greasy at all, delicious spicy dipping sauce. To our surprise, both came in adorable lunch box tins! We really enjoyed it! But not cheap. Food seemed reasonable, cocktails pricey but good. We'd go back.

The ambiance was AMAZING! They have live music all the time, every day. The food was fast, service was speedy, and the vibes were 10/10! They are self seating so come in and pick any spot! They just reopened in May 2024 and are back better than ever!

Food was really good, atmosphere was awesome, live music was a great touch, and the service was super! In detail: We were seated and waited by Todd, he was great. Refilled our waters, checked on us even when it was busy. The beach view and live music combo was almost enough, the great food topped it off. We started with the pretzel, which was as big as a pizza! Huge and tastes so good! Soft and warm cheese! For only $7 that's a steal. Next ordered the brisket tots, buffilo and garlic wings and corn dog. The brisket tots were good, little smokey for my liking, and a little too much cheese, but my dad liked it and the presentation was pretty. The buffilo wings weren't that saucy but the flavor was good, the chicken was so tender and almost fell off the bone, tasted very fresh. Same with garlic parm flavor, tasted good but wasn't anything intense or crazy. The corn dog was good, nothing crazy, Finished dinner off with the wagu burger, added a double patty which I'd say is needed because the bun is big. Tasted pretty dang good. Fries were eh. Overall, you can count on the food being fresh, the atmosphere is super nice if you get a good seat next to the live music, view is always great, and service for us was super. Will be back!

Shrimp ceviche is gross. Get the pretzel; you can't go wrong. Mai-tai is standard, maybe a little on the stronger side. View is amazing. Music came a few hours later than scheduled. All in all the view makes it worth it!

Fun place on the beach at Coligny Forest Beach. Drinks are cold on a hot sunny beach. Service is good. Try one of their frozen drinks, Hang out , recover from the sun and sand and listen to some live music. This place is always ready for you to mellow and enjoy yourself.

As a local I was very disappointed with this food.$15.00 for a Corn Dog. $16.00 for a popcorn shrimp basket. Tiki Hut you can do better. if you're going to charge that much, you need to make the quality as good.

The atmosphere & food was amazing & is right on the beach in Hilton Head!! Probably my favorite part of our vacation & an easy access to the beach!!

TW: DRUGGED. Disappointed with lack of care about customer's safety. I come here every year on a family vacation and it's always a great time. I love the tiki hut and the beachy ambiance of it, I will give them that. However during my most recent visit, I was up at the bar top when one of their regulars/locals offered my friends and I a round of shots. The person roofied my shot and ended up essentially blacking out for 4-5 hours after that (luckily we left and I was with my family so I was okay). I don't blame the bar for this, but what I do blame them for is that I called to let the staff know what happened to me so they could stay vigilant and protect their other customers, and the guy on the phone couldn't seem to care less. I explained what happened and he said "yeah I'm sorry about that" as if he was bored and unsurprised. He then told me he would let his managers know but never asked for any details about who, when, etc. How are you supposed to tell your manager about a situation you know absolutely nothing about? I had the full name and phone number of the guy who did it but he couldn't care enough to ask or note it down. I had to ask him if he would need details and he goes "oh I guess so." Overall I'm just very disappointed with the response to a very serious situation. Please stay vigilant and watch your friend and family's drinks!!! I care about other girls experiencing the same thing I did, even if the bar staff doesn't.

Good for people watching.....drinks prices are equal to nicer restaurants....it's on the beach...but far from the water. Unless staying at the hotel....you have to park in public parking.. Our waitress was terrific and attentive.. especially for a place I thought we would have difficulty with service! It's an okay place....more blue collar-esque and nothing wrong with that!!...... rumor has it--- they are scheduled for a renovation in the future... We did not try the food but ...I would rather eat and sit more comfortably In a nicer restaurant... Sounds a bit snobby but I just hate stools with no back support.

This place is great after a hot day on the beach. Their drinks are delicious, definitely can get pricey but worth it. They have live music occasionally so you can sit back and relax, while enjoying a beverage/food. It gets pretty busy so be prepared to wait in line and for your food.

We came here the other night to celebrate. We had a couple rounds of drinks. The banana colada is my new favorite drink. Absolutely delicious and had me feeling good. Service was great and we enjoyed the live music. We didn't realize how close we arrived to last call, but our server let us know a few places we could hit to keep the party going. It was a fun night.

We've had lunch a few times here over the years while vacationing in Hilton Head. It got a facelift when we ate here in 2024. Food and service has always been great. Can't beat the ambiance on the beach.

Remodel is great, drinks are great but the food for sure needs work. I stopped by last week while in town to try the new menu and check out the updates. I ordered the watermelon salad, the arugula wasn't even washed and they forgot the cheese. Traded the salad out for a Caesar and it was okay, not worth $15. I also ordered the brisket tots and the tots were so fried that they were hard potato shells, brisket was dry and chewy, plate has been drowned in cheese sauce to hide that. Wonderful place for drinks and live music, food not so much.

Tiki Hut is a derivative of the next door restaurant, The Porch Southern Kitchen & Bar FYI. Our visit was on a Thursday June evening and Tiki hut dining area blends right into the beach providing a good outdoor experience with high energy, live music and busy atmosphere. Despite the extreme volume of business, the staff were fairly efficient at making the rounds to provide service during a dinner rush. The menu was very limited (they said they were experimenting on menus and be aware the menu online despite being the same location was not the same as their printout menu offered that evening, the menu seems to constantly be changing), but in this environment with high foot traffic and guest volume it's to their benefit, so orders and food service continue to flow at an acceptable pace. The staff were friendly, energetic, and efficient. We ordered the smash burger, two frozen pina coladas (virgin) and a kids chicken fingers and the quality and freshness were very good. This isnt fine dining, just quick decent food at tourist trap prices, but still in reasonable ranges for the area. Expect to pay $15-$20 for food and drinks that should actually cost $8-$12 anywhere else away from a destination. Overall we were pleased and enjoyed the visit. If you're looking for peace and quiet with a relaxing atmosphere this is not the place (it's a bar scene), but if you are and aren't sitting at a table in direct sunlight (tables have umbrellas) during peak hours of sweltering heat (hopefully you're in a bathing suit if you do) it met expectations for quality, atmosphere, and quick with a smile.

Vibe is nice and it's a fun spot right on the beach. Lots of drinks to choose from but not authentic tiki drinks. Would have liked to see some unique rum options but everything was pretty standard overall. Food options read better on the menu than they appeared. I was expected big pieces of fried shrimp for $16 and it was tiny popcorn shrimp served on top of fries. By the time you got to the fries they were soggy. Our group had multiple things on the menu. Burger, salads, cocktail shrimp. Everything was just slightly overpriced for what was served. Presentation was more like a food truck or fast food place.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Beach House but honestly Tiki Hut was a staple for us during our 3-night stay! We LOVED The Miami Vice. Seriously, we got it every time we visited the bar! So good. Mostly friendly staff and the live music was really fun to listen to. One time we got chips and salsa and I'm not sure I'd recommend it, but the drinks are good. Coming from NYC, I'd say the prices were reasonable for a beachside bar attached to a beach hotel resort. Thanks for a good time!

Fun outdoor bar that has live music. Waitresses are friendly and they take care of you. All kinds of fruity drinks to put you in the paradise mood with your regular fare of bar food. If your lucky you can make friends with someone staying at the hotel next door so you can have a night time swim.

Such a cool spot! Outdoor tiki hut venue with great love music. Sweet spot to hear local bands. The food and drink menu were nice for the venue. Highly recommended. The service is at the bar. Overall Happy with our time here. Wish they had heaters or something to make the outdoor seating more comfortable.

We waited over an hour for our food, which was actually pretty terrible. It was cold and my son was in tears. Waitress offered a free virgin daiquiri which we never received...

Great atmosphere and location, worst service we've ever had at a restaurant. We arrived for dinner and were told to sit wherever. Waited about 10 minutes for our server, Taylor P. to approach our table. We put in our food and drink order with her, she had us pay for both our food and drinks as well as tip prior to receiving either our drinks or food. She brought our drinks promptly but after that, she never stopped by our table the rest of the night. Our food was brought out in flimsy carry-out boxes, no silverware was provided and had to go up to the bar to have plastic silverware. No one stopped to check on us the entire evening. Food was just okay and not very many options either. Nice view on the beach and good live music, but I would not recommend this place to anyone. You can get much better service and food/drinks anywhere else in Hilton Head.

We always come here when in Hilton Head! Love the drinks and atmosphere here. Excellent view with live music. Service can be a problem though. Bar tender today was mean!

The food is mediocre at best. The ceviche was gross (has pickles in it) the Ahi Poke literally had 4 small cubes of tuna and the drinks were watered down. Over priced for what you get. Great location but skip the food, order a beer and listen to music.

We love this place! They get pretty crowded, of course, but you can't beat a sandy cocktail bar right on the beach with live music all day long!

While my girlfriend and I were staying at Beach House we came to Tiki Hut every day. We loved the Miami Vices and floaters. The service was friendly and never an issue. Tiki Hut is mostly a drinks spot but they do have food on the menu too. We got chips and salsa at one occasion which were OK. We also enjoyed the live music. If you're in the area, I recommend stopping by Tiki Hut!

Went with several friends on vacation, had an appropriate amount of appetizers (two orders of buff chicken fries and cajun kettle chips FTW). Great place for families, saw the cutest kid at a nearby table enjoying the ambiance. Super cool lunch boxes for food delivery, and got a great side of mayo with my sandwich, bring out the whole ocean!

Food was aweful. We were served shrimp cocktail in a to go box with no ice, it was just thrown in there. All of their food is served in to go boxes. Drinks were not drinkable and the service was terrible. This combined with drunk college kids made a terrible impression on us as a family.

Bad service, plastic silverware, stale chips, small portions and expensive food. Daiquiri came melted and sparkling water is served in the little glass it comes in.

This place is wonderful. Sit outside on the beach. Great drinks wonderful band. We had a great time. Good service and able the jump on the dance floor

The tiki bar itself is great but we had the worst experience ruining my daughter's batchlorette party! We waited half an hour outside for a server and no one came. we understand it's busy so we thought we would have better luck getting service inside. We went in and were seated right away, The waitress was taking another tables order, so I went to the bar and asked for 4 waters. The bartender said no to wait for our sever. Mind you; she literally was standing tbere not doing anything. I said could I at least have one cause my daughter is about to pass out. she said mam we're not going to do this you have to wait for your server.She simply refused us a water. we left and my daughter had a full blown panic attic and completely ruined our experience! The lady should not be in customer service! should be fired immediately. I've never been talked to or treated so poorly in my life! She was a bigger African American bartende!

All time fav beach spot of Mom's and mine! Friendly staff. Strong drinks. Chill atmosphere. Good music. Beachside.

We love the atmosphere the music and dancing in the sand. Spring break for 60 year olds! Our waitress Carley was awesome. Retro Roxx, Corn Bred and something from Nothing are great local bands Looking forward to our next trip!

Good drinks, food, and live music. We stayed at Beach House and visited the tiki hut for dinner one night. I got the Mahi sandwich and it was so good! Service was a little slow but I think we just visited at an off time. Would go back!

Tiki hut is a fun local spot! Good drinks, live music and beach front property so you can drink on the beach! Servers are friendly! It gets busy so get there early for fast service

This place is probably everything you would expect from the name. It's part of a hotel, and right on the beach, which is nice. Grab a drink and go put your toes in the sand. It is really touristy, and always packed with tons of people. Considering we're still in a pandemic, I was pretty appalled by how they had people packed at the bar without masks, but I digress. Live music, they list out artists weekly so you can pick and choose pretty easily what you want to listen to. They have a wide variety, so something for everyone. Drinks are....cheap, beach drinks. Cheap liquor, and lots of sugar. I got the margarita and it was sour and did not taste normal, I didn't even try another drink. Food was actually pretty good, and super quick. Service was, meh. With them being super busy, I know the staff was overwhelmed and running around everywhere, so no one really seemed like they wanted to help, we felt more like burdens being there. It was quick, but again, didn't feel welcome. I didn't expect much from a spot like this, definitely great for drink tourists, but that's about it.

David and Mary Butler at the Tiki Hut have been amazing. Best service. Renting bikes and beach chairs/umbrella was such a smooth and enjoyable experience for the 3 days we were in town. They had the best recommendations on where to go riding around and some great restaurants too! Southern hospitality at its finest!
