Tiki Shores Inn & Suites

Just stayed here for the night. I was a little unsure reading the reviews, but the price was too good to pass up. We got the lakeside studio. Upon arrival, the lady at the front desk was very polite and efficient. We got into our room and it was a really nice surprise after a long drive. The room was very clean. Looked clean and smelled clean. No strong smell like the other reviews. Highly recommend.

Location is great, rooms are old. Way overpriced in summer. Front desk staff member completely refused to provide us with an invoice for business stay and lied about this, after much back and forth since October with booking.com they had to make an exception to provide us with this basic request. Wouldn’t recommend. I’m not one to leave a bad review but this level of service is not acceptable.

The room was great! Clean and spacious. Check in was easy with the door code when we called the after hours number. The down side was the coffee machine didn’t work, and there was a Keurig but no pods. The off season rates were really reasonable, and it was an easy walk to restaurants.

This is a great location, across the street from the beach and all the beachy amenities. If you get out of the comfortable king sized bed early enough, you will be rewarded with a sunrise over Okanagan lake. Fantastico! Our room had a kitchenette which was a bonus. Sadly, there was no coffee filters. This situation brought me to Wayne & Freda coffee shop, which was a bonus. So, all is well that ends well. The room was quiet, comfy and clean which is all we were looking for.

Although it was off season, our stay was good. The few minor problems we encountered were dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner, with special thanks to Rashita. Ideal for our exploring nearby wineries. Used the public BBQ for rib dinner, and mini kitchen was very handy. Happy with our stay.

The location is perfect. Staff was great. The room was not great. The mattress was old, soft, not comfortable and smelled weird. Seemed like the maintenance is not something important. Ceiling lamp missing, bathroom smelled rotten, floor dirty, old and broken. The toilet was leaking and every 20 min or so I could here the water running to refill the tank. The worst of all is that one night I was awake by some noise in the kitchenette. Sure enough there are mice behind the fridge. They have access inside the cupboard where pots and pans are. Pooping around! The staff is aware of that problem as a mouse trap was installed on top of the fridge. I don’t recommend this place. Good thing I have some international travel experience as most Canadian would not have tolerated this room for 4 nights...Good luck!

Tiki shores is under new owners. I was there just after the change in july. When we got there I realized I wanted a different room than I had originally booked Rishita at the front desk was able to accommodate me and move us . I felt she really goes out of her way to make sure you are happy with the service. She also was extremely knowledgeable about the property for someone who only had been there a few days. My experience was overall great the rooms were clean and decent and the property was cleaned daily. Best part is the amazing location directly across from the beach. I only wish the Ac units were more able to keep up with the 40 degree plus weather we were having when I was there. I will definitely return next year.
