Tiki Village Motor Inn

It's really rough around the edges. Don't look in the backyard. That being said, I weirdly enjoyed staying here. The staff is nice and actually gives you towels to use, unlike some other hotels I stayed at. But it is on life support. Just the cute recipitionist at the front desk made this place more than management.

The staff were nice and pleasant however that is where the good seems to end. There was no sheet for rules, rather it was read to us and left for us to memorize from that. The room was terrible: - A hole in the window covered with a Band-Aid. - hole burned in the comforter, hole in wall - Non-working heater - the screen/curtain for the patio was a utility grade tarp. - laminate flooring was separating - cleaning supplies left behind in bathroom - non-working pool - random odd Hodge Podge kitchen stuff like crock pot with no insert for cooking - stuff like hooks stuck to the wall - nothing like the photos had shown before booking. There was more, but I do not want to write a novel about how this motel is well past it's glory days and struggling on life support.

Super convenient location. The owner Jo is the sweetest lady you'll ever meet. Great price and clean rooms. The atmosphere is so family oriented. I love staying here!!

I'd like to start by saying this one star review does not reflect the staff. They were kind, available and very apologetic about everything.|Apart from the friendly welcome, unfortunately I cannot recommend anyone stay here. It looks like it used to be lovely, but it's heyday has long passed. The room smelled intensely like smoke, the bathroom was rusty and dirty, there was a tarp over the sliding door, the mattresses old and springy, the pillows super thin and worst of all....we got bedbugs :( |We were fully refunded for our stay, but my friend and I are covered in bites. Another note that the motel is also not in a nice part of town - in case you are not from there (like us) and didn't know.

Amazingly dirt place. Dirty linens. Water damaged ceilings and walls. Dirty washrooms. Reception/ office was dirty, unprofessional, unorganized with dirty laundry laying around. It was stinking so bad that we could barely stand there. we had to stayed there because there was no other option available due to wildfires. If you can manage sleeping in your car, I recommend you rather sleep in your car than wasting your money there. The operators were kind but absolutely unprofessional. Coincidentally, during our checkout, we walked into the room while it was being cleaned and saw that the bed linen we used was not being changed, rather the bed was being remade.

This was my first stay at this little gem. Yes she was definitely dated and could use some TLC but the room was clean quiet. The staff was amazing they were there checking on us made us feel like family. I think it is sweet that the staff takes the time to check on their guests. We really enjoyed our stay the pool was amazing even though the weather did a huge number on the pool. Darn fires anyways. Even 7-Eleven across the street was quiet I grew up around this neighborhood. I will definitely come back to this quaint little establishment. All the guests staying there were super friendly and patient with us even though we had a couple cranky kids.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! Very run down with junk and old furniture tossed into the courtyard. Sketchy location with many people milling about smoking and drinking. Rooms were in disrepair, smelled of smoke and the beds were horrid. We brought all our belongings into the hotel room except for some towels and bedding, our car was broken into and the bedding and towels stolen. One tenant there knocked on our sliding door and told us not to come out because his dog might bite us. Horrible experience!!!!!

If you are looking for a 5* hotel this isn't it but I personally love this spot. The location is great. Service is good. Rooms are clean. Price is fantastic. Have stayed here a few times. It has had some slight improvements over the years. The pool could probably use a good clean though. But wasn't horrible and still was nice. Will definitely continue to stay here when I'm in town.

Really cool place. Really nice garden in the back along with a pool, hot tub and sushi restaurant! Room isn't the most up to date in the world, but we slept fantastic in it. Customer service was satisfactory to amazing!

Absolutely adore this place. Lorna is a very involved manager, going as far as to call us to.make sure our room was up to standards. I had a problem with the shower head and had done a temporary fix, I told her and by the time we came back that night it had been replaced. Although it looks perhaps a little run down or is immaculately clean, no behind the door door or dust bunnies. We will be back in October!

A friend of mine stayed here once... (this is not my experience))) ... She came to tiki because she was told it had great customer service but when she came here... the first problem was they did not want to give her a 6 am wake-up call! Then when she got to the room it turned out they had rented out her room and gave her a 1 bed room and it was dirty! for her, Husband, and 2 teen boys! Their where no other rooms available so they asked for a re-fund because they had not spent any time in their room in the last 15 minutes... they refused!!! So they ended-up staying here that night but they got no sleep... the next door neighbors where fighting all night! I will never recommend this motel... the one plus... you can bring your dog!
