Tiki Villas Rainforest Lodge & Spa

Beware this establishment, they have just stolen me USD$12,000. And they have ruined my Christmas Holidays. Made a reservation back in November 2024 with the understanding that they were finalizing a renovation prior to Christmas. Rec'd an email today from the Mtkg Dept that the group who was handling the renovation escaped with the money and Villas are not available. The guy i spoke with knew nothing about the situation. People involved: Marvin Seas, General Manager Gerald Rojas, Director of Operations Serge Bernard Theriault, Group Manager I am going to hire an investigator and sue them to local police

Tiki Villas was the best place we stayed in Costa Rica. It was up in the trees and we saw lots of wild life including monkeys from the villas. It was well designed and had the pool, dining area and lounge all together in one central area so it was very convenient, the perfect size for our group! The ceiling fans in the public area kept it cool. The food was great! A great place to just hang out!

We spent a week here and had an amazing experience! Our flight to Costa Rica got delayed by 24 hours, and since they happened to have vacancy they simply moved our stay by 1 day and didn't charge us. They helped us book a handful of activities and even paid the tour companies in advance, which made it super easy to just settle up at the end of our stay. Honestly, it felt more like staying with friends than in an actual hotel, which is super rare these days. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the location was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. I took the best shower of my life outdoors during a thunderstorm with torrential downpours! The restaurant was amazing and the staff really cared about our experience. 10/10 would recommend and we would come back in a heartbeat!

Lovely wooden lodges with balconies for bird watching. Great views from the infinity pool. The Costa Rican breakfast was the best we had on our trip - very nicely cooked. A short drive to Uvita but nice and quiet. Road up was quite steep - glad we had a 4 by 4.

Based on the reviews and their website, I had higher expectations about Tiki Villas. The view is beautiful and the pool is great, but everything else was just okay. The furniture is rather old, and in our room, the water pressure on the shower was a joke. There's an outside shower which we ended up using, but it wasn't that warm for an evening shower. I was also expecting better quality toiletries instead of cheap shampoo and soap (all the other accommodations I stayed in Costa Rica offered local, high-quality toiletry products!). I thought Tiki Villas would be a highlight of my trip to Costa Rica, but it wasn't a good value for my money.

Tikki Villas exceeded my expectations. What a beautiful place where the jungle meets the beach. Nancy the concierge was so helpful and arranged all of our excursions and transportation. We did not rent a car and the resort is about a 15 minute drive from Uvita. The beach is a short walk and it is perfect for swimming and relaxing. It was not very crowded at all. The hill is quite steep on the way back to the resort. There is a restaurant on site and the breakfast was delicious. There are several great choices to choose from on the menu for breakfast. From my balcony all you could hear were the sounds of the jungle. We did get massages in our rooms and they were fabulous. The staff was so helpful and I will always remember this incredible trip.

Had a free weekend with the girlies during our month-long study abroad trip, and we could not have made a better choice than Tiki Villas!! The hotel staff, the view, the pool and spa services—absolutely no complaints from any of us. From the get go, we were treated so kindly; Nancy upgraded our hotel room when we arrived so we’d have more space, and the room was lovely. We had an indoor AND outdoor shower, and a balcony with a view of the ocean. It’s genuinely the nicest place I’ve ever stayed. The restaurant staff were also so kind and patient considering we’re a group of girls who are fairly new to speaking Spanish, and they always met us halfway (or more) with communication! The food and drinks were always amazing. They gave me a bag of dry rice when my phone got soaked at Parque Nacional Marino Ballena, and I was so grateful. They went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and did not need anything. I definitely hope to return one day and stay for much longer. Two days was not enough. Tiki Villas has definitely been solidified as one of my best experiences in Costa Rica, and I genuinely don’t know how anywhere else I go will be able to top this place!

Our stay was nothing short of incredible! The hotel is nestled in the jungle, offering a perfect balance of luxury and nature. We experienced so many animals. Wow, the monkeys are incredible!! I’d go back just for that. The villas are spacious, private, and have the most amazing views. We had an ocean view which was awesome. I loved waking up to the sounds of tropical birds and watching the sunset from the infinity pool. The staff was fantastic—so friendly and helpful with recommendations for local adventures. We enjoyed many nature activities per their suggestion. We’ve been to Costa Rica a few times and this trip was one of our favorites. Our villa felt like a hidden gem.
