Very nice place to visit with family. Just 1-2 hours visit from chandigarh. Road is good. In hilli area roads are narrow. For first time driver in hilly area, it's recommended to drive slowly.

Nice place to recreate with family and friends on the weekends at the Tikkar Tal which is surrounded by beautiful lake. Boating facility is available for couples and families, rates attached. Haryana tourism maintains this site as Mountain quail resort with their restaurant. Food quality is maintained. Hard liquor including beer is also served in the restaurant. Though they have around 12 rooms for stay but presently only four are operational, rest under renovation. Room tariff attached. Ample paid parking. Rest rooms are available. Located at 34 kms away from the highway towards Panchkula village. One should be expert in driving to drive thru the hills to reach the Tikkar Tal as there are narrow curves on the whole stretch. They have their own Mountain Quail resort at morni hills 8 kms before the Tikkar Tal.

The washrooms are in very pathetic condition. Location is very beautiful th but maintenance is not done properly specifically the rest rooms which is very important for any visitors are not clean at all you even can not stand out side the rest rooms area and to use them is beyond your imagination
