This place is SURPRISING! A look from the road will give you false expectations. It is 4-5 times the size you think it will be. The food is great. The staff is nice. They have pool and lottery. They also have games you can grab like yahtzee and Farkle! It is clean and smoke free inside. Actually looks semi-recent updates. Also has a super interesting adult vending machine.

My wife and I visited for the first time. We live in the area and wanted to support local businesses. They bar was nice the food was good. However, we ordered the French dip sandwich. It was good but the picture on their website is deceptive. We both received 2 small cuts of sandwich and about 5 fries. Looks like they cut one bun into 4 pieces and charged us for 2 plates. Looks like we'll have to support a different local business.

This is a great little place. The customer service was fantastic even with the minimal staff that was on hand the evening I visited, and the food was considerably better than I had expected. The parking is a little tight but this is in a perfect central location to stop on the way home.

This place was excellent! Our burgers were on point. The pretzel with cheese sauce was awesome. Even the garden salad was pretty great for the price! Totally go again and recommend.

Great burgers and beers and lots of outdoor seating. Service is friendly, attentive and quick. I ate here completing the Springwater Corridor and needed some sustenance for the ride back. You can't miss it with their big banner on the building. Definitely would come back again

I went 2 times... first time, bar was very empty found out there is drama with bar tenders and the bar is being boycotted on sat. Nights!?! They started to vacuum while we were still there, night 2, bar very dirty, food and rags and wrappers. That night every time we tried to place a food order the bar tender was to busy talking about their life or the bar and then walk away before we could order. There was also a ER that night and the bartender got snippy with us, I understand there was stuff happening in back ground but no need to be rude. Then they messed up our tabs. Did not want to deal with the drama so just paid and left. Food and drink was normal bar food. Photos from night one when no one else was there.

Local pub, great service, food is pretty good! Good prices. Good atmosphere!

I hope they are able to get back up and operating as soon as possible. Terrible tragedy!

Ordered lunch for the office and everyone was happy. Aunt said she really liked her fish tacos. Mom said the grilled chicken Caesar was "exceptional" the chicken was tender and seasoned well. Lovely bartender Sam suggested the monthly special that was pork tacos and street corn dip. It was all so good!

The service is horrible! The food was great just a little too much season on the fries but the chef was the only one that cared! The bartender never even came and asked us how our food was or if we wanted another beer guess it's just for the regulars too bad Timbers used to be a great place

The server tonight was almost in tears that there is no manager and the cooks run the kitchen are terrible and need to be let go. The only cook that is great is a lady that is underpaid and treated like crap. The owners are completely lost and are driving this pub in the ground. Get a manager and make the food great, or we ALL will find another place to spend our money. We felt so sorry for Griffin (bar tender and table sever). I hope the new owners read this review. I feel sorry for all the great bartenders and employees that really care.

Food is sub par for bar food Silverware is not given for some reason either I had to wait a very long time for service when it was not busy at all because the bartender was busy talking to friends

Food is excellent. I'll definitely go back again. We had the Reuben and the BLT. I would recommend both.

Ok, folks...I'm going with a full 5 stars! Even though the service was super slow on a Saturday morning at 9:30am with nobody there. When our super sweet host came around she got our drink orders back quickly. I'm not sure what the delay was but - in the era of Covid - we know that many places are short staffed. Anyhoo - the drinks were stiff and the breakfast was very good. We had heard that the hash here was exceptional, and it really was. So good, homemade and delicious!

This was my second visit and it was just as great as my first. Great food...the hand cut fries were great, the meat for the burgers were amazing. When we inquired about how great the meat was, they said that they were from the Timberline Meat in Sandy Oregon, which leads me to ensure I go there for any sort of fresh meat in the future! But knowing that they buy their meat locally, and the meat is made to order, is a plus!

This place is exactly what it is. A neighborhood/dive bar. Everyone knows everyone and all seem really friendly. Staff very attentive, both at the bar and in the kitchen. The food was seriously prety amazing. My salad was wow fresh! Chili was skme of the best I've ever had. Great prices too.

Long time customer. New ownership, and while the food and bartenders are awesome, the new bar manager is totally inattentive. Besises that, she was out of fireball and don julio tequila. Ive never seen that before in all my years there. I won't be back.

A great place for drinks, food, all Oregon, watch your favorite game on the tube, lottery, pool tournaments, Texas hold'em tournaments, karaoke, video games, check out their specials, open for breakfast. Great prices. Cozy environment, great for small groups, bring your honey and have a great time the locals. BIKER FRIENDLY !

I've been to Timber more times than I can count and have always enjoyed my visits. Everything was always fine. Nothing stellar, nothing horrible. Fine. This weekend when I went in things were decidedly not fine. My order was nearly burned. It was still edible and I didn't complain the another minute in the frier and it would have been black. What was worse though is that not one person was wearing a mask. Not the server, not the cook and certainly not the customers. I was very disappointed.

I am a regular customer at Timber. Nothing fancy, just good food, stiff drinks, and nice people. Great place to "forget about life for a while."

been to this place under the previous owners and it was terrible. Not just the servers but also the food wasn't cooked properly and our order was always wrong. The new owners are doing a great job. I love the servers. They are friendly and strive for excellence. My only complaint was the male cook last night (July 3rd). We ordered beef nachos but they were out of cooked ground beef and he declined to make more. At the suggestion of the server we then requested carnitas nachos. When the cook brought out food he slapped the plates on the table. I thanked him at which he abruptly turned and walked away with a mad face, saying nothing. It gave me flashbacks to the previous ownership. The nachos came with onions which we had requested they leave off. I want to give a shout out to the female cook. She is very friendly and customer oriented. She is one of the first people we encountered under the new ownership and she was the primary reason we started coming back.

I heard this joint served top-of-the-line Timberline meats, but the kitchen was unable to properly cook a simple burger, which was red inside. And I've never had a patty melt served simply on mayonnaise. Yuck. Even if Russian dressing is just a ketchup mayo mix, I shouldn't have to assemble that at my table. It was stone-cold freezing in the restaurant, and I saw the bartender once after she took my order. I could have used a towel to clean up the beer she slopped on my table and some napkins for the soggy burger. When you're spending 20 bucks for lunch, a little friendly service would be nice. If you're looking for a decent dive bar, I suggest Chester's off of 26.

Oh my! What a little treasure this place is! Great food and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that really surprised me... and... GREAT STEAKS! I usually get a bacon burger, which is huge and full of fresh fresh veggies and smoky bacon. It's so big, it makes killer Burger seem small! Salads are fresh and oh... the steaks... After 50 miles bicycling, a steak is a wonderful and glorious thing! The steaks here (I've had every kind, quite a few times) are tender and always cooked to exactly a true medium as I ordered. They also have great taps, including some good ciders, pool tables, etc... to complete the scene, and a clientele who are always genuine and friendly, even for me, a fairly obviously trans woman. Awesome!

The ambiance is definitely pub-style, with pool tables and multiple TVs, thankfully with sound off. The cheeseburger proved delicious, the skinny fries less so--fry oil needed changing. The location, close to the Barton County Park, made it quick to return to the CG and dine.

This little gem is a must! We had breakfast with friends who recently moved to Sandy. They had tried this place previously and were impressed so invited us to join them for breakfast. Well it has that dive bar feel, it's clean the staff is friendly professional and helpful. Three of us ordered breakfast which was two eggs anyway you want it, bacon or sausage, hashbrowns or country potatoes. This breakfast came served on a platter! Eggs cooked perfectly over easy, and the bacon was very thick sliced almost like ham and so much I couldn't eat it all. This breakfast was perfect! I wish I would of got pic, but it looked soooo good we all just Started eating..... lol definitely be going back again I'll remember to take pictures first

Tonight on 5/28 Tonight at timbers pub and grub I was involved in an encounter between the female bar staff and a patron. The patron was trying to defend the tab of his adoptive nephew whose original drink was made way over poured and was mixed incorrectly. He returned the drink and ordered a beer instead and even though they accepted the return still tried to charge him 10 dollars for a martini (he originally ordered an old fashion). When patron stepped in to assist they told him that it was not their responsibility the drink was made. She then proceeded to tell me loud enough for our other sister to hear that she now understands "why the patrons siblings don't claim him as their brother" which was taken out of context from multiple nights ago during poker. This same bartender has also had words with another poker player who decided to quit coming a few weeks ago unless this person was not working. Now instead of eliminating the problem Timbers decided to eliminate poker. This to me does not seem fair.

Staying in the area and just wanted a good steak and salad. Great food at a good price. Service and food were great.

Another fav! We love the staff and the food has never been disappointing! They even have cornhole! Lol!! Great neighborhood bar with a great top shelf selection and beers on tap. Karaoke starts at eight on Friday's!

Huge Sammie's that come with big serving of fries and fry sauce. Quesadilla was huge and came with generous serving of sour cream and salsa. Super friendly and quick service. Plus they let us bring in our bikes in. Great spot to stop if you are riding Springwater corridor trail. We will be back.

Best fries east of 'The River' , located in Boring and you gotta try the Paul Bunyan Burger, I did!

Terrible service and still no food after an hour wait... for breakfast... they weren't busy, they were just feeding their regulars first and bumping our order. Finally, with no apology, they were irritated with me when I told them to cancel my meal because I was leaving.

Love the Timber! Great staff and tacos. This gal Julie complaining below evidently fired an employee during a flurry of belligerent and unprofessional behavior while at a the bar. At the request of the terminated employee, the bar turned over security camera footage. So, yeah, let's blame others for our own bad decisions.

My gf and I used to come here every sat for the prime rib special but have backed off because their bartenders have become less and less friendly each time we go there. The special is worth the money but we've found the same deals elsewhere and have moved on. They have a huge turn over. And that is a red flag to me because I am in management in this industry and when you have a constant turn over there's something wrong.

The Timber Pub and Grub is the place to go for great drinks and excellent food. This is the quintessential small town bar and grill. It would be hard to find a nicer place to sit and have s great time with friends. The place has a number of areas to play. You can drink, play cards, shot pool, sing Karaoke (wed, thurs, Fri and Sat), pull slots, get great drinks, eat some of the best bar food around and have a hell of a time. The hamburgers are so good my eyes rolled on the first bite. The best part is they have the nicest staff the crew is very friendly and attentive. They even let me watch the Rip City Blazers and they even let me put on the sound. It was a non Karaoke night though. You can't believe how many bars don't watch the Blazers. If your anywhere near Boring Oregon and you want something good to eat and drink then don't pass this place up. Rock on Timber.

Breakfast quesadilla...to die for!! So good! All their food I have tried has been great. And, their tots are yummy too! Drinks...well, I only get the beer, can't really mess that up. :-)

Timber pub n grub hasn't been the friendly bar to go too. I've been going to this bar since 2008 and until this day I feel like the bar has been going down hill. It's a small town people know people but for people who aren't in the town of boring get treated like crap. Bartenders tend be friendly at first but when they get to know you then they become mean. I don't recommend this bar to any of my friends.

Great pub food and beer. About a dozen visits over the past 2 years, and have never had a bad meal. Service always friendly. Only dings I give it are for a bit of a down scale atmosphere, and the Karoke. If you can handle the singing, you will enjoy the food. Always great specials.
