I'll start by saying that Timber Room was so good, we ate there two nights in a row, even though there were so many other options!
Vibe - upscale, mountain sexy. If I were single and lived in Telluride, I'd literally just pop myself in a couple nights a week to sip wine in the lounge-style seating area to soak in the atmosphere and meet some new friends.
Cocktails - out. of. this. world. I had the gin drink and my partner had the Woody Manhattan (their take on a black Manhattan). Both were phenomenal.
Wine List - seriously, I was so impressed with this list. Not only was it EXTENSIVE, but there were a LOT of reasonably priced, very good bottles.
Bartenders - Ian, Ruven, and Lilly were all incredible. They were attentive, engaging, knew the menu, and, again, the drinks were on point!
Food - hands-down, their charcuterie board is the winner here. The selection of meats and cheese was excellent and the quality was right on par. Elk tartare was unique and smokey, and the trout rillette was *chef's kiss.*
There were only two disappointing items: The flatbread - Ruven pointed out that it wasn't exactly "flat," but we ordered it anyway. It was thick and pretty dense compared to what you're expect. The second item was the baguette served with the charcuterie board - it was very stale. As someone who LOVES bread, I was disappointed that it didn't match the rest of the experience, especially because good bread is clutch for a chacuterie board.
