"Times Square This Iconic grand scale shopping mall has over 230 stores from the mid-tier to the luxury brands of fashion and beauty including two department stores, a supermarket and a wide variety of food options. It is right above the Causeway bay MTR so it is very convenient and one of the busiest in the city. Outdoors, there are always seasonal displays or exhibitions set up for people to enjoy By Jacqueline V"

Let me say this, it is a very grand and luxury mall. But I don’t see brands I want from here. Mostly high end stores. Mostly fashion clothing stores. Mono-tone selection. I’m sure they are all very nice and helpful. They do a great job to keep everything spotless.

Times Square happens to be a luxury brand mall in HKG, not an iconic spot like NUC. The mall is huge, over 8 floors of luxury and high end brands, electronic store, food court and few other variety of stores. The inside of the mall looks absolutely stunning, all slick and clean, modern design integrated across all the floors. We explored the mall over half an hour, floor by floor. Since we were not looking to purchase anything expensive, we were just enjoying the walk and view of the mall. Few stores we went in, staff were very friendly and willing to assist with any question.

Nice mall, a bit of upscale stores. Not that crowded. Restaurants are reached on the floors 11 & up through elevators on the outside of the mall.

A high end luxury mall with offices. In the building basement level, there is a Aircon dining area with all sorts of cuisines. Avoid lunch hours for the office crowd. An alternate option is to walk to the nearby street market for cheaper options but will have to face the hot and humid weather.

Manchester United fans, don't miss the "Matchlegacy" exhibit at Times Square! See Ronaldo's jersey and other match memorabilia before it's gone. The pop-up shop is also open, featuring signed merchandise from Garnacho, Maguire, and Fred. Find it all on the 2nd floor atrium of Times Square in Causeway Bay. Ends June 15th!

Yelp
This is the place where you want to hang out for its air conditioning. It has a lot of high end stores so not really for the average consumer. However, there is always some display out in front so its nice to drop by once in a while to take photos. It currently has an anime theme.

Yelp
By far it's my favorite shopping center in Hong Kong, and Times Square is a luxury shopping centre and office tower complex in Causeway Bay. The complex is vibrant and stylish, staff working here is super friendly as well.

Yelp
When the word "Times Square" comes up, most folks tend to think of the touristy Midtown section of NYC where almost all tourists end up at some point. Instead, Times Square (or 時代廣場) in Hong Kong is a huge skyscraper mall / office space that is in the center of one of the busiest sections of the city, Causeway Bay. As of this year, it celebrates its 25th anniversary. While it's true there is practically a mall in every neighborhood on Hong Kong Island, Times Square is easily one of the largest in the entire city. It has attained a status that is every bit as iconic as some of the most prominent buildings on the island and is a pioneer in the "vertical mall" trend that is seen all throughout the shopping landscape. There are numerous retail spaces ranging from department stores to boutique ones, and a plethora of the city's most well known chain restaurants encompassing a myriad of cuisines. The list of high end and internationally known brand based shopping here is too numerous to mention; shopping here could really be an all day affair. At one point in time, this was the celebration space for New Year's Eve and Christmas but that ended 5 years ago. Now there are seasonal exhibitions that adorn the exterior ranging from Lunar New Year to Valentine's Day. It is always a place for a good photo op. For those traveling to/from Times Square along the MTR, just simply head to the A exit which is literally at the bottom escalator well of the building. There is no need to get out at the other exits just to go here. In addition, this place (as well as the nearby SOGO) is an excellent meetup spot. I would highly recommend Times Square and its nearby businesses for anyone in HK.

Yelp
Times Square is one of the premier shopping complexes in Causeway Bay area. It has everything that you need from shops to restaurants. It is also a wonderful meeting spot. This is one of the many shopping mall complexes in Hong Kong and I come here each time that I return here to my birthplace. I completely agree with L.C. that it is a must see.

Yelp
Appropriately named Times Square of Hong Kong. It is what you expect, Plethora of: Shopping Eating Drinking Coffee People Day/Night life Buses/Cars/Trains Walking Theater Hustle Not much else to say but just do it. Great experience. Close to all mass transit stations. Centerpiece to many tourist attractions nearby. Cheap eats to fine dining.

Yelp
The Hong Kong version of New York's Times Square. This is a shopping complex located in Causeway Bay area and contains a plethora of shops, cafes, cinema and restaurants. Primary a commercial/ office area. HK's Times Square version does not have the vibrant lights, no moving animated advertisements, no mammoth billboards or signage, no historic Broadway theaters, and missing the main thoroughfare of Broadway. There is no Naked Cowboy either. Like New York's Times Square this HK version is also extremely crowded always full of tourists, locals and vehicles regardless the time of day or day of week. However, Hong Kong's Times Square does NOT operate 24/7 @ 365 unlike New York. On New Year's Eve at midnight there is a replica of New Year's Eve Ball Drop - total copy from New York City not very original which began 1908. Access to Hong Kong Times Square is by MTR Causeway Bay station. There is only one Times Square and it is in New York City, U.S.A.

Yelp
Grand shopping center. Was here around Xmas time and it was crowded. They had a Charlie Brown setup experience for Xmas. All I noticed was Uniqlo and Ferragamo shoes. Classy mall like many others. This part of Hong Kong is cramped and even feels a bit older than other parts. We had Sunday dim sum nearby.

Yelp
I have been using Times Square as a meet up spot with all my friends and relatives whenever I am in town. Almost everyone knows where Times Square is and how to get there so there is less chance for me to get lost. It is just so conveniently located at Causeway Bay MTR station and I can get there by tram too! There are for sure quite a variety of stores. But I ended up never buying anything from here. Just mostly window shopping. For sure there are newer shopping centres in the area, but it cannot really replace Times Square as I doubt I know where to meet up my friends.

Yelp
Times Square is one of the mega shopping complexes that you will find here in Hong Kong. You know that Hong Kong people love their shopping. I think when I first came here many many years ago, this place was not nearly as busy. Now it's like everyone is funneling in to see the last Harry Potter movie or something. The shear number of people is quite the sight to see. There are many many stories here and with each progressive level luckily you have less and less people. Thank goodness my favorite stores are at the top. Every year during the holidays, each of the gallerias seemingly compete for the most outlandish decorations. This year we have a giant snowman in trousers flying through the air with balloons. You'll find all your specialty stores here from namebrand places. I'll be telling you about my favorite.. Aigle and you can read about my thoughts on that store by searching! They put large plastic boards up at the higher levels so people don't do anything stupid. It's a fun place. Wish there were less people but eh, I think that's part of the fun!

Yelp
There's a Times Square in Hong Kong, you guys, and it's an enormous mall. Not quite as salient a tourist attraction as New York's Times Square, but definitely a place to check out. My husband and I had only a vague idea of what to explore on a free afternoon in Hong Kong, and decided to take the subway to Causeway Bay and walk around the area. We ended up at Times Square, despite not really knowing about the place, and in retrospect, it seems like that was inevitable. Huge malls have a certain gravitational pull. I think it's built into their design. I actually recognized the place. I think I'd been once on a previous trip to Hong Kong in 2005. I knew the elevators and had a vague memory of being inside a Lacoste store. It was a giant place, with tons of shops running the gamut from mall standards to luxury shopping. There was an entire floor full of restaurants, one of which I think I ate at in 2005. Since we weren't looking to shop, we just took the escalators up as far as we could go. We got to a high deck at the end, but it wasn't particularly nice. Still, the mall was fun to explore, with an impressive scale and decent people watching. It felt very Hong Kong despite being a giant mall, a different breed of consumer mecca from what we have in the States (less sad and inherently '90s, mostly). Probably pretty handy for locals, and interesting viewing for tourists like us. If you're passing by, I'd recommend a peek inside.

Yelp
I have seen changes in shopping malls in Hong Kong. No kidding. First generation, second generation, and goes on. Times Square is probably the only shopping mall in HK has done it right. - No maze. I mean, customers are not THAT stupid. They can feel it when architects deliberately make shopping malls hard to explore. Times Square sticks with circular design, escalators on both end, lifts directly go up to the restaurants. Separate entrance for ground floor and basement. Can't lose with that design. - Actual room for exhibitions and events. The outdoor plaza is one of the best in HK, if not THE best. Always thoughtfully themed exhibitions, and often matches with the indoor settings on 1/F. No other malls have even comparable space for them. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve countdowns are the most popular in town (although it's way too crowded for me...). - Sticking with middle class brands. At least it doesn't feel like "just another shopping mall", and gives you actual reason to enjoy and hang around the mall. although that may eventually emerge to the mainstream in the next few years. - They don't force you to go through the shops in order to access to the restaurants. Big plus, and almost a determining factor when I pick a restaurant in Causeway Bay. - And always a great place to wait for your friends... "Under the big TV / Under the big clock" is the HK island's equivalent of TST's "five flag poles". But of course, people do carry a device called mobile phone now and the practice of assembling at a signature spot is kind of a history...

Yelp
Hong Kong's Time Square is extremely different from New York City's Time Square. No big, flashy lights. No huge billboards. Not as hectic which is a thumbs up. Every there and then, the huge decoration is displayed in the front entrance depending on a monthly theme or movie upcoming. There's an MTR entrance/exit (Causeway Bay) right in front of the mall. Inside the mall includes shopping centers and food courts. There are a variety of places to go through which is nice. Definitely will be back!

Yelp
Unbeknownst to many, Times Square has been in the city for 20 years. It's one of my favorite malls in HK because it houses, if I'm not mistaken, the first Dolby Atmos theaters in the city. What is Dolby Atmos? Don't read it here, catch a flick and HEAR it there. Although, I have to say, I have a love/hate relationship with this shopping mall. It gave way to Tiffany and Co. and removed the already-fantastic ground-level access cinema. It has joined the majority of shopping malls who have cinemas stuck to the higher floors. Hardcore shoppers will go on a frenzy as the mall has 9 (nine!) floors of retail space ranging from clothing, ice cream, electronics, and my personal favorite, the Page One bookstore on the 9th floor. I could be stuck there reading books all day. Come to think of it, that was my usual weekend habit back in high school. Times Square also has a fantastic yet controversial open piazza that always has some of the best public exhibitions in town. Batman's 75th anniversary has just finished showcasing, and past exhibitions included Lego and Gaudi. I find that Times Square patronizes art more than any other mall. The upper floors, accessed by 3 special elevators at the side of the mall, house restaurants such as BLT Burger, Chung's Kitchen, and Nha Trang. I usually only go to the higher floors for the cinema house. Tip: if you're going to Times Square via MTR - which I'm sure a lot of you are - never, ever, take Exit A. It is a long exit designed to handle the enormous traffic of people coming in and out of Times Square. Instead, take Exit F, the quickest way out of Causeway Bay station. You will cross only a single pedestrian crossing, much quicker than going around the bolgia of Exit A.

Yelp
No matter what time of the year it is, Times Square is always packed and full of tourists from all over the continent and world. This is likely one of the largest high-class malls in all of Hong Kong, so while the variety is decent, its prices are terrible, even on a typical Causeway Bay scale. Some of the stores include Tory Burch, Japanese earring stores, and Bottega Veneta.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a crowded plaza with many stores in the building. This is also a meeting place for many Hong Kong people In general, it is a good place to stop by for tourist but no sure it has the same characteristics as the place of same name in New York City.

Yelp
times square is definitely one of the most go to places for me. well shopping mall wise at least. it is easily accessible by causeway Bay mtr, buses n trams. the mall has eateries ranging from renowned Chinese restaurant, specialty Japanese places to Western joints, all reasonably priced. oh n the food court in the basement offers a variety of options for grab n go! abundant shopping here with the connected lane Crawford. the mall itself provides more than 50 high Street brands, targeting the young crowd who's willing to spend. they hv an iconic big screen on the mall exterior, making it easy for ppl to meet up. they hv a newly renovated cinema as well with tickets around 90hkd each. overall a very all rounded shopping mall on hk island with slightly less northerners influence.

Yelp
I have to give this mall a low rating. It takes too long to shop here. I tend to spend more time on escalators than I do in shops. They only really good thing I like about this mall is they have all the electronic stores located inside. Which most malls don't have electronics stores because of the percentage rent charged.

Yelp
It looks a little different to the New York Times Square but it shares some of the purpose, its a good central location to meet people. Rathe than being the Theater District this Times Square is actually a shopping mall, and a good one at that. There are like 10 floors of retail therapy just begging to be explored.

L.S. C.

Yelp
Time Square is a multi-level shopping complex with a variety stores and eateries for everyone. It's in Causeway Bay which is a plus. A must see.

Yelp
this is the major mall in hong kong. there are multi levels and different things to choose from. don't expect the best prices but you might find what you are looking for. Good for shopping, dining, and walking around.
