Lunch was great! Fresh ingredients and large portions. We had the rice box with cauliflower rice and grilled fish and the chopped salad with grilled fish. My wife and I both thought our meals were very good! The dog friendly patio is what drew us in as we were traveling with our dog. Highly recommend!

Google
Quick and easy! No frills, walk up and look at the menu, then order. I had the T’s Wrap with blackened shrimp was great, that could be a daily eat! Also, I ordered the fired oyster basket (it’s my thing growing up in South Louisiana) and they were cook to perfection (not dry and too crispy)! The better half had the Tuna Poke and she was pleased. One teen had the Chopped Salad box and the other fried chicken fingers. Great job and we will be back. !

Google
We visit the island often from Maryland - we eat here several times each visit! Great food and service. The shrimp tacos are amazing & so are the fried green tomatoes. Casual friendly atmosphere that welcomes all including dogs & kiddos.

Google
This place was great! Picnic tables and a kids' play area. Dog friendly patio. Order and pick up window. Canned beer. Amazing and unique fried green tomatoes! The blackened shrimp and fish tacos were some of the best I've ever eaten! The fried shrimp basket was outstanding, best fried shrimp I've ever had, probably because it was freshly caught!! I can't wait to return one day. Friendly service as well.

Brooklyn Conti

Google
One of my favorite places on Fernandina Beach- a counter-service seafood joint owned by the same people as the other great restaurants. The crab-burger and hush puppies are to die for. The patio is very clean and seats people on picnic tables. I highly recommend!

Google
Awesome! The clam strips and fried shrimp are incredible. Extremely friendly service. Just a note-they have a wide variety of iced teas. This is a must have in Amelia Island.

Jordan Hayes

Google
Great quick service seafood restaurant! We got the shrimp tacos and the Baja box. Both were super fresh and tasty. Also the key lime pie is a must. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more.

Caitlin Swanson

Google
Bomb! Tofu tacos, fish tacos, hush puppies and fries all fantastic! Set up like a food truck. Outside picnic seating. All the food was amazing and good portions!

Yelp
Food was amazing and fresh! Quick service and overall the meal felt light and healthy. Walked out full and happy.

Yelp
The seafood entries are superb. Service is quick and efficient. Nice play area for kids. A bit crowded right at dinner time.

Yelp
Great prices Many options No inside dining Pets welcome! Coke Zero! Fried Green Tomatoes were amazing Tuna Poke was great Sample wife's shrimp platter. The shrimp was good the fries were good the coleslaw need (way) more sauce And the hush puppies were just okay.
google avatar

Yelp
Order inside at the counter. Dining is outside or to go. They have Coke products including Coke Zero. Eating there they call your name out the window. I got the shrimp basket which was priced well for the amount of food you get. My shrimp and fries were great. The slaw had zero dressing. It was dry shredded cabbage mix. The hush puppies were my big disappointment. Two big ones, but there are peppers or something inside and the taste was different than usual. I normally love hush puppies so it's a bummer.
google avatar

Jo H.

Yelp
I had the fresh catch (drum fish, blackened) and it was excellent. My wife loved the chopped salad.
google avatar

Lynn P.

Yelp
Lobster roll was in tiny chopped pieces. Didn't taste any flavor to it. rolls were not warm or buttered. The piece of fish was tiny and not to expectation for the price. Loved the outdoor seating. They also had fans outside.

Yelp
One of the few restaurants I was able to check out in Amelia island outside of the Ritz Carlton. My family with 2 young kids ended up staying at the resort mostly for our 3 night and didn't end up venturing out at all. I did pick up some take-out from Timoti's our first night in Amelia island and it was amazing. Very reasonable and great portions. I ordered 5-6 different items and it was less than $65. Highlights were the Tuna Poke bowl, the rice box and the fried fresh catch of the day. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Their poke sauce had a good combination of acid, salt and umami. I wanted to go back for lunch, but sadly didn't get a chance to. Until next time!

Yelp
Wow, great food, and I would give it 10/10!! Everything I ordered was so fresh and tasteful. This place is a must!!! Came around lunchtime and the line was pretty long but once I ordered and sat down, it came pretty quickly. Must order the lobster roll and the shrimp tacos and basket!! What I ordered: - Shrimp basket blacked with fries, slaw, and hush puppies - Blacked Shrimp Tacos - Lobster Rolls: T's lobster salad served in two New England-style rolls - Fried Green Tomatoes

Sandra B.

Yelp
The Baja box was really good. I got it with grilled shrimp but there was other options. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
A local gem! My partner and I ate here because Wicked Bao was closed and what a great unplanned meal it was! We needed to order gluten free since my partner is celiac, and it was easy at Timoti's. I had the rice box with shrimp which was a great mix of baby spinach, 1/2 avocado, slaw, rice and grilled shrimp - sooo good! My partner ordered the Baja box with blackened salmon which had beans instead of spinach and both were great. Prices were amazing and there was a playground for kiddos. One thing is we would have liked an option to get double protein for an additional fee - it could be that this is an unlisted option but I'd do that next time!

Yelp
What a tasty little seafood shack! It's a small, counter-service restaurant with mostly outdoor (covered) seating. The staff was helpful and patient, and the line moved pretty quickly. The food was so fresh... I had a blackened cobia (CotD) handheld, and the fish was perfectly seasoned and cooked. I also ordered hush puppies (3/order) and fried green tomatoes (4/order). The tomatoes had a topping that I think was chopped mango and red bell pepper, and sprinkled with a cheese (looked like cotija). They weren't bad but I've had better (I like them thin & crispy with cornmeal batter and these were mushy & thick). There are a few canned cocktails/wines and beers offered too. The vodka (powdered mix) lemonade I bought wasn't worth the price. As far as a casual place to eat, sitting at communal picnic tables, the cost was a bit much, but the seafood was truly mouth-watering, so that helped. I'd go again just because it was super yummy and I didn't have to wait an hour for a table.
google avatar

Gregory C.

Yelp
In the mood for seafood but don't want to wait 45 minutes for a sit down restraint? Pop over to Timoti's to get your lobster and shrimp and all around flavorful seafood fix. I had an awesome canned IPA by Sunlab and let me say was feeling nice. It's mostly self service take your food to your table when they call you name and get your own waters. But it was great to hang on the patio and enjoy the community style seating. Try the lobster roll and get the blackened shrimp you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Two words: overated and underseasoned. This place was a big disappointment. Fried Fish basket with fried shrimp: D. There was absolutely no seasoning on anything. What saved this dish from getting an F was the fries. Poke bowl with double tuna: B-. I paid for double tuna but got 1/4 tuna. Nevertheless, it was very fresh, but the poke sauce was very diluted. Blackened Mahi Mahi tacos: C+. The tacos looked spectacular but were low on seasoning. Blackened shrimp tacos: C+. Same as above. Seafood Stew: A. Delicious and satisfying.

Yelp
I didn't expect this place to be as good as it was ! It is casual, seating, mostly outside and no AC but the weather was tolerable. I ordered the shrimp basket with cucumber salad & fried green tomatoes. The breading of the fried green tomatoes was on the sweeter side but everything else was delicious!

Gary H.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My friends had the crab cake sandwich and I regretted it that I didn't get it. The crabcake was full of crab and was a nice size and my friends said it was delicious. I had the Baja box and it was also delicious. Because I love crab so much is the only reason I regretted not getting the crabcake sandwich. We also had the fried green tomatoes. They came out piping hot, and the mango sauce they were sitting in really added deliciousness to the tomatoes. They also were sprinkled with a nice serving of feta cheese. Orders are taken inside the building, but seating is picnic style outside.

Yelp
Food is so exceptionally fresh that we came here twice in our five day stay on the island!! I had the Baja bowl with fresh blackened fish- healthy but the taste was soooo flavorful! My husband ordered the blackened chicken wrap, sooo good!

jason T.

Yelp
Ive been depressed over seafood because nobody has good seafood locally. Closest place i know is all the way in jacksonville! Timotis was a pleasant suprise! We got the shrimp basket because if you cant make that right the rest wont be good either. I got grilled while my wife got blackened. First bite i was sold. All the fixings were good too!! Hush puppies and coleslaw. Then as a side we got the seafood stew, also delicious. This will be my new spot for shrimp for sure.

Brittany S.

Yelp
Bruh. Grease grease grease grease grease. The tenders are sooooooo bad I gagged then I went home threw my guts up.know why grease :(. I am deeply disturbed with this place and hope that they get sued a kid hurts himself on the slide at the stupid pathetic loathsome horrible awful no good very bad adjective resturant.

Cathy R.

Yelp
This was the best fish sandwich I have ever had. Excellent spices and grilled perfectly. A little bit of sauce too. Yum

Atticus L.

Yelp
Best seafood restaurant in Fernandina Beach for sure. I would take this over the Rusty pelican any day . Square up.
google avatar

Lisa H.

Yelp
The food is good, but it's outdoor seating only and on a 50 degree day that's a bit too chill for me.
google avatar

Liz R.

Yelp
I love this lil place. Prompt service and always pleasant. The atmosphere is very fun. Outdoor picnic tables and playground for kids. My daughter loves the lobster rolls and crab burgers. All the food is affordable. Great place to eat.
google avatar

Tanner K.

Yelp
Solid taco spot. Great outdoor area with plenty of shade and a great spot for the kids to play on the playground. Service was quick with a smile.

Yelp
Good fried shrimp and clam strip baskets; oysters ( pricey ) good too! Fair pricing for area.

Yelp
This is always a stop when I'm in Amelia Island, downtown Fernandina Beach, FL!! You order inside and get your drinks....they have great iced tea! The seafood is so fresh, and I love the hush puppies there. I've usually had Mahi or flounder; both are delicious! I've also had the shrimp. You can't make a bad choice, but you'll want to come back to try everything! Seating is just outdoor picnic tables with a cute play area for kids. The restaurant is located on a side street perpendicular to the Main Street of downtown Fernandina with free street parking or free parking lot parking depending on what you can find. Staff is very helpful and friendly every time I have been there. They take the time to answer questions even if there's a line.

Yelp
Fernandina Beach has a hidden gem, Timoti Seafood Shack. They have crowds of hungry patrons, covered outdoor bench seating and some of the most delicious seafood in the area. Timoti is casual, a personable staff and one of my top three dining favorites on Amelia Island. We had explored the food scene prior to our trip but always verify with locals. Even though they are small in size, they compensate with excellent food. Timoti was perfect for lunch and set the bar very high. We ordered the blackened shrimp and fries, and twin lobster rolls. The blackened shrimp were stacked with flavor, perfectly cooked and only left me wanting more. The twin lobster rolls were over-flowing with fresh / sweet lobster, minimal filler and a great roll with a slight crunch. As good as these two dishes were, the fries need an honorable mention. They were crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. There are no weak links at Timoti Seafood Shack. If you want really great seafood packed with flavor, Timoti Seafood Shack needs to be on your bucket list. My only suggestion is to order two orders because one is just not enough. Thank you for an amazing meal.

Yelp
We had a quick lunch here. I had the shrimp taco and my husband had the fried shrimp basket. Both were delicious. The tea was good too! We joined some locals at the table and had a lovely chat. The crows were annoying and all the diners were trying to get in the limited shade. But that's what we expected with an outdoor seating area so I'm not fussing about it! Just something to consider.
google avatar

Julie F.

Yelp
I really enjoyed our lunch here. And it was one of the best we had while visiting the area. It's a bit different than most restaurants as you order inside and pay. They call your name when your order is ready so you can pick it up. Seating, however, is all outside and outdoors at communal picnic tables. The best idea is to decide what you want in advance. While one person lined up to order, the other can reserve a spot at one of their tables. We got fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. And for our main, a fried oyster basket but added 5 shrimp to it. The basket came with coleslaw, fries and hush puppies. The tomatoes were good, not great, but good. I didn't care for the coleslaw (neither did my husband) or the hush puppies (he liked them). We both liked the well done fries. So why the 5 stars? The fried shrimp was lightly battered and were excellent and the fried oysters were creamy centered and very very good. It's a casual atmosphere. There's a playground for the kids and no one makes a fuss. You get to chat with your neighbors and see what they're eating. One lady had some very good looking fish -- she didn't ask what kind -- that she was raving about. I'd come back here in a heartbeat.

Yelp
For our first meal in Amelia Island, we decided to check out Timoti's. Located in downtown Amelia Island, this is such a cute family friendly place!! Seating is outdoors. You order inside and they call your name when it's ready. We got the lobster roll, deep fried green tomatoes, and crab burger. Boy the crab cake was so thick and tasty, probably the best crab cake I ever had. It wasn't filled with flour like other crab cakes, you really get a lot of crab. The lobster roll too was very genotous with the lobster pieces, we actually ended up ordering another serving of it cuz it was so good!! Definitely will visit again the next time we are in Florida!
google avatar

Evelyn G.

Yelp
Family friendly place with a little outdoor playground. You order inside but seating is outside shared seating to enjoy the scenic sunset. The food was amazing and quick! Had the calamari, poke bowl and clam chowder. The calamari was fresh and crispy. The clam chowder was light but tasty, and the poke bowl had the perfect blend of ingredients. The price was very reasonable. Highly recommend if you love seafood!!!

Dale D.

Yelp
Killer seafood! Saw yelp reviews and gave it a try. Wife and I both enjoyed it!! Seating is limited so plan accordingly.
google avatar

Zoe B.

Yelp
Food always amazes me. Lobster rolls are so fresh! Great patio and service too. Love bringing my pup and enjoying a perfect day.
google avatar

Laurie B.

Yelp
We had a group of 4 adults and 2 children. The kids enjoyed the play area while we ordered our food. I had the chopped salad with blackened salmon. Really fresh and interesting ingredients. Highly recommended. Two had the clam burger and enjoyed it. The tacos were terrific. We would definitely visit again if in the area

Rafael A.

Yelp
Great service, especially considering we were a large group. The ambiance was perfect for a casual gathering which is perfect after walking around the street. Food was perfect and the prices were reasonable, I would not recommend the short ribs however.
google avatar

Sophea S.

Yelp
Everything I ate here so far was great! Reasonable price for the high quality of seafood. Can't beat that! It always crowded here, but the line is going quick. I highly recommend the taco menu of the day, it was so flavorful and delicious. Fried fish, oyster and fried anything here are always superb, except I'm not a fan of their hush puppies though. Everything else is amazing! Great atmosphere, great services and a great spot for lunch.
google avatar

Lior N.

Yelp
Great food! Great service! My wife got the fish sandwich with a blackened flounder although she wanted a Mahi( they ran out...) . She said it was yummy and she didn't care it was a flounder because the seasoning was good! I got the fish basket so I can try their coleslaw, hush puppies and fries.it was good! We can't wait to go again and try more things from their amazing menu.
google avatar

Felicia K.

Yelp
Wow! The freshness and flavors are a party in your mouth of comfort and fun. A Ton of shrimp, fish in the stew. The corn tortilla tasted like they just made them. The taco are filled to the top of the tortilla. This place is a must. You sit outside under a pergola on picnic benches. Listening to music from the back business. Delicious and very casual.

Nohemi M.

Yelp
Great little place, delicious food and great customer service. The lobster rolls were amazing.
google avatar

Lisa W.

Yelp
Always a go to when we are downtown for lunch! The fried shrimp basket is amazing and so are the chicken tacos.
google avatar

Lori B.

Yelp
I visited this past weekend TWICE. Beautiful place and friendly staff. Food absolutely delicious. I enjoyed the fried fish and shrimp. The winner for me was the chopped salad. You know while on vacation you tend to eat a lot of junk....this was a life saver for me. Go here!!!
google avatar

Mitchell M.

Yelp
A quaint little Place with very little seating. Plenty of parking around. The dining area inside is closed so all you have are the picnic tables outside under the cover. You'll have to share your picnic table with other families, just not enough to go around. I have been trying to eat here for a long time, they never have any seating when we walk up. Mondays are great for dinner, we got there about 5:20 with plenty of seating. The Seafood is as fresh as you can get locally caught. The basket meals are great for lunch, but small for dinner. Their is no lunch and dinner menu, you get what you get lunch or dinner. Comes with seasoned fries, Cole slaw and two hush puppies. The slaw needed a little more sweetness for my taste, and was more vinegary than what I would like, but it was fresh. Definitely get the side Cucumber salad! It was the bomb and at only $2.99 it's shareable but can fill the void in if you're a hefty eater. We will return for lunch in the future.
google avatar

Cassie C.

Yelp
Blackened chicken tacos are everything!! Black beans lettuce with jalapeno lime aioli fantastic
google avatar

Monica H.

Yelp
OMG!! This is what I look for when I want seafood. Best fried oysters ever. Vero Beach needs a shack like this. Puts Ocean Grill to shame. Also, soothes the wound from terrible meal in St Augustine yesterday at Columbia.
google avatar

Lala C.

Yelp
Love the fresh seafood local vibe here. We inhaled our fresh fried shrimp baskets with the accompanying hush puppies. Red fish stew soup was very tasty and with a touch of hot sauce, perfection for enjoying at their picnic tables with other diners. Kids, dogs, playground , lots of movement around you and with the order line quickly being managed by friendly patient staff! Free public parking lot across the street and a quick 1 block stroll to main street. Save room for a treat at the bakery next door!
google avatar

Jenny L.

Yelp
Had the blackened fish sandwich. It was amazing. And great price. Very fresh and the roumalade on the sandwich was very good. We had the fried green tomatoes that were really good too! They were out of the tropical margarita by the time we arrived, but the food was great. We will be back.
google avatar

Lynn W.

Yelp
Quick and easy...this is a no frill place where you stand in line , make your order and then pick it up at the window when called. There's first come first serve seating outdoors. Pet friendly- I saw some 4 legged friends. The lobster roll and cucumber salad were yummy. Great spot to grab a quick bite
google avatar

Markey C.

Yelp
This was a highly anticipated visit and...the service was excellent. The seating arrangement is unique and unexpected with a large family but that was acceptable. I ordered a kids shrimp basket, kids chicken basket, oyster basket, crab cake sandwich and 5 pc shrimps on the side. The shrimp were good!!! Perfectly fried and crispy. The Chicken tenders, let's say a 7 year old who live off chicken tenders and Mac and cheese only ate a half of one and finished off his fries. He said he was full but finishef off his chic fil a nuggets once we got back in the truck. I tried them and they were chewy/tuff and gummy. I see why he did not like them. The oyster basket according to my wife was great. The crab cake was the worst. the texture tasted like fried tuna. It was high recommended and sadly disappointing. It was burnt and I can't say enough bad things about it. Luckily I ordered the shrimp on the side to save my meal. To make things worse, the day we visited they only had Water and Sweet Tea to drink. It's as if they were trying to push the large stock of beers they had for sale. oh, and they had vodka lemonade for sale. if you can make vodka lemonade why can't you just sale plain lemonade? Bad experience to say the least.
google avatar

odeya S.

Yelp
I got a few pieces of tuna rice spinach and avocado food of the festival I don't know if I recommend, the service was fine

Yelp
Insane food and environment! This place was recommended by the locals as the go to place to eat. It has a lovely courtyard area to enjoy the tastiest grub. I had the fried oyster basket with seasoned fries, coleslaw, and crazy yummy hush puppies. I could not get enough even with the large amount of oysters that were in the meal. I almost made a second order to continue the flavor train. The oysters were seasoned and fried to perfection. Addictive! The hush puppies were the texture and taste that you dream of. The place had great positive energy and staff was friendly. Food came out super fast and made to order even with how busy they were. This place was hoping.
