We just had a Christmas dinner for over 25 people at TinJo and it was a great success. The service was impeccable, the food delicious, the vibe of the saloon was so beautiful, calm and relaxing. This is a great restaurant to host events.

Before even entering the restaurant, there is a gorgeous mural depicted outside. Inside is even more beautiful as different parts of Asia and its cultures are displayed everywhere. The staff was very kind and accommodating (I saw them help and walk out an elderly patron in the rain to their car). The menu really is diverse showcasing the different cuisines of Asia definitely providing that Pan-Asian experience. The samosas were delicious and packed with a lot of flavor. I had an exquisite masaman curry. Its spice level was high but I had asked for the highest though it was not overwhelmingly spicy. It was extremely creamy and flavorful 😊 I would definitely come back to try more of the foods from all over.

Great restaurant in the heart of San Jose. We went there to celebrate my sister's birthday and wow, I was amazed by this place. You can order based on the Asian country and everything we had was delicious. The staff was super friendly and we felt welcomed and heard during our meal here. Take into consideration this place doesn't have parking but you can park near by and there's even some parkings that will give you a discount for eating here. I will definitely come back and if you like Asian food, this is a place I would recommend to visit. It might be on the expensive side but it's worth it

Don't waste your hard-earned money here. Today, around 2:30-3:30 p.m. my girlfriend and I decided to revisite this renowned pan-Asian restaurant. This was not our first time there but was our last. Taking into consideration both, their high-end variety of dishes, but also their expensiveness, we thought it was a good idea to spend more for a higher quality product when celebrating the Chinese new year. But it was a massive mistake. We ordered four different dishes: 1 T-Ramen (pork and chicken), 1 Korean Fried Chicken, 1 order of Samosas, 1 Golden Rice Noodles (pork and shrimps). The ramen soup was tasteless, the hard-boiled egg had the size of a quail egg, but was not a quail egg, the soup itself was like a very diluded miso soup, the meats were white, and did not have any taste, just as if the cook (I would not dare to call it a 'Chef' even if they pay me) boiled them without any spices nor any other cooking method. The Korean chicken ration was small, the sauce tasted like a cheap tomato ketchup mixed with Tabasco sauce. The "samosas" were simply fried Chinese dumplings filled with smashed potatoes, with no other vegetables, spices raisins nor green peas (I'm not exagerating). The Noodles portion was small, tasteless, without any sauce, the pork was scarsed and did tasteless as well, and yes, there were a few shrimps, but that was it. The total was $61 (US dollars, or 30.400 Costa Rican colones). We did not order any drinks nor desserts. Don't waste your money there.

Great place! Loved the decoration, and how the menu and the place is divided to represent different cultures! The staff was awesome, really helpful and nice. The menu has a lot of options, several of which are vegetarian, including main dishes and appetizers. The food was great, and the prices are affordable. We tried some wine and margaritas and they were pretty good ( they gave us the wine as a courtesy because of the dishes we ordered). There is no parking space directly in front of the place, but there is a cheap public parking a couple buildings away. Overall had a great experience, loved the place and would absolutely recommend it!

This place is a must if you love pan Asian food and your gluten free !! A kid in a sweet shop with your own gluten free extensive menu. Mouthwatering food and romantic ambiance . Our waiter was called Alex . He spoke fantastic English and helped us with food choices . Wine parring is on the menu as suggestion and the ice cream taster was a wonderful palate cleanser to end with . I will return to Costa Rica and on my way home I will definitely come back to this diamond . 52 years in the making ! The setting is beautiful and the meal will be a memory I will cherish. Thankyou

Reservations are highly recommended at this upscale Asian restaurant, but they can occasionally handle walk-ins as well. The food was superlative as was the service. The food is gourmet style, and each plate is artistically crafted to be a unique offering, thus making the dining experience extra special. Each dining area has its own decor theme that is tastefully elaborate, interesting, and indicative that this restaurant does everything top knotch, includingtheservice. Meal price is moderately high but the generous portions and high quality are certainly worth it. It is a unique and enjoyably dining experience.

Thai and Indian food dishes did not taste at all like they are supposed to. Cooks do not know the ideal proportion of spices or correct ingredients. I could not finish the three dishes I ordered. However ambiance is very Asian and decor spot on. Service was good as the waitress changed one dish for me. Regardless some people might not be able to tell the difference in terms of authentic taste.
