Recently was downtown for a Reds baseball game. Unfortunately the game got delayed and ultimately rained out. Good news was my friends and I were able to pop in here. We had drinks and food. It was fairly priced considering the location. Plenty of draft selections. We ordered nachos, wings and cheesesteaks for the table. Nachos were solid, had a really good white American cheese queso. The wings were average bar wings, I wouldn’t order them again but they weren’t bad. The cheesesteak was ELITE, for a bar cheesesteak that was probably microwaved in the back, it was a solid 9/10, I think it had the same queso as the nachos! Service was just ok, we had to go up to the bar to get a waitress but they were pretty busy…. I would comeback!

Google
Nice spot for pregaming before the Reds. Drinks are reasonably priced, food is a little high. Bartenders (A.J. in particular) are great. As a bartender myself, he is on it. Great awareness and efficiency. All in all and little better than your typical pregame bar.

Mary Cline

Google
It was an extremely busy evening (Pete Rose night at the ballpark). Our server Torie did a great job. She was attentive, served us quickly, and the food (nachos) was excellent! She also kept very calm and was very friendly and engaging, even though she was extremely busy with many tables.

Google
During a birthday food exploration, we had so much fun! The food was great, the drinks were amazing, and our waitress was so sweet! Emily took time to interact with us, have conversation, all while staying consistent in checking on us throughout our time there. Such a great end of the day experience!

Jeremy Voss

Google
Great spot to chill and vibe before a Reds or Bengals game. It gets busy but they are well staffed. My drink never went dry. I tried the chips and salsa. It hit the spot! The bill wasn't so hard on the pocket book either!! 5 ✨'s.

Google
They have a band on Sunday and it was a nice crowd and some good eating and drinks

Google
Love coming here before Reds games, concerts, or anything else in the area! Best tater tots around and their burgers and quesadillas are pretty great too. Perfect vibe for nightlife and the service is phenomenal. The bartender Adaline was especially nice/helpful last time I was in. Would highly recommend!

Google
I've been here several times through the years. Always a different experience depending on the time of day. It's usually ok during the day or on game days. Night time is usually a bunch of drunk 21 year olds that are amateur drinkers who can't hold their liquor. Staggering, shoulder checking, beer muscle kids are what you generally get at night. If you like unsophisticated 21 year old frat bros and girls, go for it. Otherwise, go uptown for a more sophisticated entertainment experience.

Yelp
We had such an amazing time on Saturday March 8,2025. Sarah the bartender was absolutely awesome!!! She kept the drinks flowing and with a smile always ! The dj was playing was pretty awesome music as well. And we met a guy that works there his name was Meech! He was a blast!! We will definitely recommend and we will be back!!! Thanks to all who made our night fun!!

Yelp
Stopped in before an event. The entire outdoor area would be a fun place to be on game day. Food was decent and beer was cold. Not a big selection of draft beers. Good bar food that leans towards Mexican cuisine.

Scott S.

Yelp
We love the bar but please fix the air conditioning. Its brutally hot inside when its 90+ degrees outside.
google avatar

Robert D.

Yelp
My experience here was limited to having a beer at the bar before a Reds game, so I did not have a bunch to go off of. The beer was good, as it should have been, and the atmosphere was fun for a game day - it was rowdy and loud, but what else do you expect with a place like that. I would make it a point to come back again someday to try the food, but for what I had to evaluate my experience by, everything was good!
google avatar

Carren A.

Yelp
Not the cleanest place to say the least. Some of the wait staff is very friendly and then some of them are not friendly at all. Drinks are hit or miss too and can be quite mid as the kids would say these days.

Yelp
Tin roof is always a good time. Just a cool place with a fun atmosphere. The food is killer and the drinks are priced well. Even when it's packed we get pretty good service. Plus who doesn't like a place with live music. I must try for sure

Yelp
Posted up on the Sunday before St. Pat's Day. Cool vibe. Good service at my high top with friends. Made the pivot to the bar and spent a few hours getting next level service from Queens Izzy and Erin. I never had to ask for a drink and was treated like a VIP. I have been to TR in Lexington and Fayetteville, AR. Neither offered the level of attention at the bar that Queens Izzy and Erin dropped. #alwayshustlin

Yelp
Located at The Banks, Tin Roof is a fun place to stop by to grab drinks and food before a Reds game and even more fun to stop in after! The drinks are affordable (pretty cheap for the location) and the bar is always well staffed especially on the weekends. Later in the evening on the weekends they always have live music. The bartenders are quick and mostly friendly. They have an outdoor seating area along with a To-Go ordering area for the Dora Cup section of the Banks. The food at Tin Roof is surprisingly amazing. My favorite is the Loaded Tater Tots which comes with tater tots, cheese, bacon, sour cream, and chives and is pretty quick.

Lucy H.

Yelp
I loved my server Anna Ashbrook. My experience here was great. She was so attentive. She deserves a raise!

Rebecca C.

Yelp
Paper towels r out. Also phone service is not great. I fear a customer may have answered and given false info. The weird band for karaoke night is no good, honest. Why are they trying to make Nicki Minaj work. It doesn't. Play lips of an angel and I will be interested. What is up and stuck. Literally makes no sense. I'm over it honestly. Also when it ODOT gonna fix this heckin bridge.

Reece S.

Yelp
I visit Tin Roof down at the banks consistently. I enjoy visiting on the weekends and also after Bengals & Reds games. Their staff is always very helpful along with making sure my friends and I have a good time. Adaline always makes us the best drinks/shots and always takes care of us no matter what we need! 10/10 would recommend this bar!

Yelp
This may look like a urine sample, but it's actually an $8 green tea shot. Terrible decor, waaaaayyyyyy overpriced

Yelp
Never had a more beautiful interaction upon my arrival at Tin Roof Cincy. That establishment is for the people, and will treat you with the utmost respect. The Manager Kyle is a dog with a hog, and their bar staff exceeded all expectations. If you're in Cincy and want a good time, this is the place. Ask for Addy M if you want beyond superb service.

Michael S.

Yelp
We have been coming here for the past 3 years for the Bengals games being season ticket holders. Our service this past Sunday was the worst I have ever had in a bar. We were there from 10-12:30 and only had 3 drinks and the only reason we had the other 2 was that we complained. Ay noon the place was half full if that doesn't tell the owners something about the manager i don't know what does. He has left all the experienced help go for younger help. he claims the other help that has been there for years all left for school. Not we still talk to several of them they said they were not t anymore in place the younger help. Good luck trying to keep a bar a float with less customers your management made a great decision, plus he lied to a lot of regulars this week.

Doug D.

Yelp
I've been going to Tin Roof on Wednesdays for their Live Band Karaoke with the Naked Karate Girls. It's always a fun and diverse crowd. Huge kudos to the bartenders...especially Adeline! She remembers my drink and is always quick with a smile and friendly conversation. She's definitely a highlight of my visits. See you there Wednesday!

Aubrey M.

Yelp
Tin Roof has great bartenders and a great vibe! Shoutout to Adaline M. for keeping the vibe right with drinks even on a Wednesday night!

Yelp
Went to tin roof for the first time for my lunch break and ordered the Chicken and Jack (quesadilla) with fries. Will never order it again. My quesadilla is more cheese than chicken and it doesn't have any seasoning on it! Pictures below of my quesadilla. Where my thumb is at is how much chicken was in the quesadilla.

Yelp
HANNAH was amazing. Great service the food was good. Only issue is there was an 6-8 top table with a sign that said reserved for 12pm. Well leaving now it's 1 and still no one at that table. The manager reserved for his friends so I was told. The poor staff lost out on money by no one sitting for 2 hours at that table. I work at a bar/restaurant if you don't show up by your reserved time.... You lost your reservation. 6 of us crammed standing and sitting at a 4 tip table. Do better! For your employees and customers.

Yelp
if you have ever wanted to get robbed and assaulted in the same night then this the place for you! BUT if you prefer to go home at the end of the night without getting drugged and your phone/wallet stolen then I suggest searching for another place to go! yes we complained to the staff and no, they didn't care

Claire S.

Yelp
Awful experience. My best friend and I went last weekend. 4 people in our group got their phone stolen and my best friend got her drink spiked. When we asked if they had security cameras, they said no and were very rude!! Never go here, especially if you are a girl!!!

Epic P.

Yelp
Came after a Reds game on 9/2/24. Employees ignored me as I sat at the bar for 15 minutes. Employees preceded to goof off with eachother behind the bar and help anyone else who came in because they were friends. Walked out promptly. First and last time I'll ever come here.

Yelp
I just wanted to give a heads up for anyone eating at Cinci Tin Roof on the banks. The food was good... great even... I went there on 2/23 for lunch. The problem came a few days after I ate there. My bill was about $30, I paid with my card. I didn't, however, leave a tip on my card, I left a cash tip instead. A few days later, I see an updated charge on my bank statement that included a tip... for the same amount of my bill. I called them and apparently they have a flaw in their system that "confuses" servers when they enter your bill and any tip amount from the card. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I expected to be refunded as she took down my info and assured me I'd be refunded. I have not yet been refunded... it's been 2 weeks, so after giving ample time to fix the situation, here lies the review. It's a shame, because the food was really good. If you go there, I suggest paying everything in cash...

Yelp
My company did a group outing to the Reds game yesterday and my group of 15 decided to stop here for drinks and food before the game. Our server Savannah was great! She was very attentive, friendly and quick to get us our food and drinks. She was a great sport while working with our rowdy bunch. The food was typical bar food. It wasn't anything special but there were also no complaints from the group. This is a great spot for those looking for a loud, party like atmosphere before heading to a Reds game or other event downtown.

Yelp
I loved this place. I had never been here before. My friends and I were trying to find somewhere to go with no hour long wait. We came here and we were able to get seated right away. Our waitress was amazing. She was prompt, hilarious, and super helpful. There were lots of drink options. They had a Red Bull shot that was huge (and for $8 that's a good thing) that totally will get you messed up. The food was also good (from what I could remember haha). I also loved the vibe of this place. There was a DJ and a live band and they switched back and forth. There were string lights everywhere and people sitting on top of the booths just vibing. I will say the bathrooms are extremely gross. Definitely will come back here again!

R W.

Yelp
Wouldn't be able to tell you if the food was good or bad. Struggled to bring drinks out timely and the food only about half the party got food after an hour and a half so other half canceled food orders. Even the Uber driver told me after the fact that that was the worst pic you can make.

Yelp
Absolutely terrible experience! Service was terrible, food was questionable at best. Asked for Mayo with my fries, another asked for Mayo on the side for a burger, neither one of us got it. When we mentioned it, we got a small plastic cup that probably had less then you would get from a packet. Another didn't get blue cheese for their wigs. The Waitress seemed like we were bothering her when we asked for the missing items. The bathrooms were horrendous and the chairs unsafe. When we first got there, I sat on one of the stools and it was wobbly, upon further inspection, the leg was bent, rusted and separated from the rest of the chair / stool. Then I looked around and found numerous stools in the same if not worse condition! Will NOT be going back.

Yelp
On December 30, 2023 one of the security guys blatantly grabbed my butt and when I asked him what he just did he immediately responded with "Do you want to be kicked out right now?" glaringly showing his guilt. When I asked him what I had done to be kicked out he had no response. I connected with other bartenders and the general manager who said they would "keep an eye on him". What a great response for a sexual assault.

Yelp
Such a Horrible ending to a fun night. Service was great. Super nice waitresses. Bouncer was hateful and harassing me half the night. It started out odd and then I realize he singled me out. I was up on my knees on my chair so I could see over the crowd in front of me. He asked my not to do that so I smiled and agreed. About an hour later, a song came on I liked I had one foot on the floor and popped up on ONE knee. He immediately came at me, was so aggressive coming at me and yelling at me. I finally asked him why he was picking on me and he grabbed by phone and my purse and told me to LEAVE. The people all around me were saying "leave her alone, she didn't do anything, he grabbed me by the arm. It was frightening to say the least. It was NUTS.

Mona G.

Yelp
My first time there today to watch the Bengals game and I will NEVER go back. We were sitting at the bar and at the end of the 3rd quarter 3 employees came over and took our chairs. Told us they needed to remove the chairs to make more room, forcing us to stand for the 4th quarter. Also, the not so friendly bartender took my beer that was not empty and threw it in the trash and when I immediately said something she pulled it out of the trash and tried to give it back to me. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but there.

Yelp
This is the second time I have been here and this time wasn't really impressed. We ordered guacamole and chips and it had no taste. No spice no acid. I also got the veggie quesadilla which had roasted peppers corn mushrooms and Monterey Jack cheese. Again very bland. My daughter got the left tacos which had avocados lettuce and spicy ranch which she enjoyed. That's why I have it a 3 Star.

Yelp
Went at 6pm on a Friday night. Easy to get a table, didn't start really filling up until after 9. The server was amazing, food was fast and REALLY good. We got chicken tenders that were kind of expensive but HUGE, so worth it. Live music was awesome, really loud though so keep that in mind if you don't like that. Ended up getting super crowded but service stayed on point. I got like 5 drinks and split an entree, my bill was about $61. Wish I had taken pics of the food because it was so so good.

Yelp
This is my first visit to the Tin Roof. I had a Chicken Tonga Street Taco, which had a great southwestern flavor, and the Chipotle Chicken was very tender. I then ordered a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (minus the bread) and it had a shuttle back heat (my opinion), for some people might call hot. I opted for a side salad as I am trying to avoid French Fries. My salad was chilled and crisp, just as it should be. My server was very patient and answered all of my questions about the menu and offered some great suggestions. The food here is higher end bar food with reasonable prices. When you visit, ask for Becca, she is awesome!
google avatar

Scott M.

Yelp
This is a very good pregame stop. Beer is reasonably priced & food is good. Your really close to ballpark, No need to hurry to get out for the game. Had a DJ playing & enjoyed the meal.

Anna A.

Yelp
Came to the Tin Roof for the first time in several years and Izzy immediately acknowledged my friend and I . She was so fun and nice. She really made me feel like I was at home. I even got hot and she turned the fan off of her onto myself to make me comfortable . Highly recommend Tin Roof and go to see Izzy!

Rusty J.

Yelp
This place was pretty good. To be honest, the food was better than the service. Our server wasn't personable at all and barely checked on us. However, our food was pretty good. A runner brought us our food in a timely manner. The order was correct. The place appeared clean. The atmosphere and decor (and location) was what drew us in to eat there. It's a cool bar with pretty good eats with not-so-great service.
google avatar

Leah R.

Yelp
I went here with my boyfriend before a Reds baseball game. My first impression of the place left me wanting to leave. The floor was so sticky I thought my flip flop was going to fall off. We didn't want to sit at the bar because it looked cluttered and dark. After getting a huge 22oz drink, the place grew on me. It also started filling up and was packed within an hour. We were originally going to eat somewhere else but once we smelled the food we stayed put. We had chicken and waffle appetizer which was outstanding! Mac n cheese with pulled pork on it. We got a small to share and it was huge and tasty. Then we got chicken wings with honey hot sauce on it which were also good. The best thing we had was the chicken and waffles then the Mac n cheese then the wings. All in all I would go back...for the chicken and waffles.

Jenni H.

Yelp
I really had my hopes up here! But I knew something was amiss when the whole strip was packed and this place had like 5 people in it. And that on Cinco De Mayo AND a Reds game! The food was meh.....service was worse. We had to actually look for a server.....where they busy waiting on the other 4 people? The dixie biscuits..........don't bother. But I did enjoy that "glass" of wine in the plastic cup.

Ben H.

Yelp
Avoid this bar at all cost. The bouncers are hostile, bartenders are incompetent, and the food is stepped on. Avoid at all cost.
google avatar

Claudia D.

Yelp
Came in for lunch and upon entering there was lively music going on and it was loud, but ok because TVs surrounded the whole place that had different games on and music playing and the variety of music was good too. They were quick to get our drinks and order. The food was good and had good portions were decent for the price. I had the Dixie Biscuits and it was the appetizer but for the price it was a little ridiculous. There were only 3 mini fried biscuits and it was supposed to have brisket and and peach jam but when I got them it had a little piece of bacon with some cheese and I definitely didn't see any brisket or jam. Everyone else's food looked good and the smothered tots had a good amount and were good. There are some things going because there was supposed to be a DJ coming and the music was already good and we kinda wanted to stay but had to leave. Had a good time and wouldn't mind going back, but to try something else to eat.
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
Food was horrible.. poor little chickens didn't get a chance to start growing their wings before they were lopped off. Waitress acted like we were bothering her by deciding on our order. Constantly saying anything else with an attitude if we paused more than 2 seconds while ordering. College party bar at best that just happens to serve food. Definitely not worth the money. Floors were sticky like they had beer spilled all of them and restrooms were disgusting as well. This was at 1in the afternoon.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
PLEASE READ: The waitress in her 30s with tattoos and dark hair medium length hair purposely picks fights with multiple people (and even admits to it). She will purposely charge you for a bunch of drinks, and the second she puts them down will grab a bouncer, tell them a false story and try to kick you out right after charging you to flip her tables. Has happened to 4 different people I know, all on different nights. Management is just as bad, take her side and will not listen to the customers. I've been to tin roofs all over the country and have never had an issue until this one. DO NOT waste one single dollar here. Go next door to holy grail or across the street to stretch for friendly employees and management who do their job.
google avatar

Ben M.

Yelp
We were meeting some friends before a Reds game and this place was PACKED! I didn't think there was a chance we'd be able to get food, but a bar tender (Zach) quickly asked us if we needed menus and we ordered. My cheesesteak was one of the better ones I've had. My fiancé liked her buffalo chicken tenders.
google avatar

Margarite B.

Yelp
I'm going to be honest here: I don't generally have a good time when I go to Tin Roof. It's a younger, college crowd or it's always packed tight making it hard to get good service. However, when I heard that SoHo was doing karaoke there on Wednesday night I had to check it out. I'm so glad I did! The vibe was completely different than I had seen it before- a relaxed, more mixed age crowd. It wasn't as crowded so finding a good table was easy. Joey the bartender was attentive, and even complimented my friend and I on our song choices. My opinion on this place has definitely changed for the better! If you're looking for a nice spot for a Wednesday get together, with a little karaoke sprinkled in, this is the place.
google avatar

Victoria M.

Yelp
Great service! We went in when it started raining before a baseball game and the staff got slammed with people and even then the wait staff got to us quickly. Good selection or beers and drinks and we loved the queso and fried pickles

Ryleigh K.

Yelp
This Tin Roof has rude bouncers who ask irrelevant questions when they check your ID. They asked my friend (who is well over 21) what year he graduated because he had an out of state license and then said his answer was wrong.... as if the bouncer had attended his graduation ceremony himself, in the flesh.... We thought he was kidding at first but he definitely wasn't, my advice is either provide your bouncers with calculators so they don't turn away customers for no reason or tell them how invalid the question "when did you graduate?" is considering people can graduate early or late or sometimes never.... also this tin roof is smelly.

Nick L.

Yelp
Literally rats were running around in there when we went to eat. I know it's a bar...but I didn't expect that.

Bilgen T.

Yelp
This place is disgusting. My coat got stolen tonight. They didn't even care. Please stay away if you want to feel safe. This place is not nice. I just want my coat back!!!

Carlie Y.

Yelp
Today, I went to Tin Roof with my family to celebrate the Bengals being in the super bowl. There was this blonde manager who was obscenely rude to us and many other patrons. She barked orders at people and even pushed my uncle's wheelchair without permission out of her way. I cannot seem to find any semblance of justification to move a disabled person's wheelchair without permission???? I'm beyond tired of giving this establishment more chances - it's always a cluster with the employees being so rude every single time.
