Its safe, its not just a bar. There's a DJ, 8 pool tables, a live band after Midnight, the prices are reasonable.

I go on Saturdays. With the live orchestras, we have lots of fun, dancing. The hostesses treat you like close friends

Worst place !! The customer service really bad especially the security guards they pick and choose who they card. I felt descriminated and if you ask them why they do it their response was “are you going in or not is my business who I card”. If you will do your job do it the right way !!! I never been treated like this before.

Good for music and to dance. Customer service is okay, however they do not take debit cards or credit cards, it's a cash only place.

I would never go to the El Tina Bar. Because every time we walk past here, this place smells horrible as usual.

i came with friends and thats it. The place is always packed, they ask for $40 at the door and no Credit cards for drinks. Loud, its a basement and not sure how 2 tiny exits cover it. A lot of people under dressed and others flashing their drug money. Only reason i went.. out of town friends and they were driving.. but never again

I came here to celebrate my 24th birthday. Bottles were $225 instead of the $150 as advertised. I tried to call all four numbers listed for reservations on WhatsApp and Instagram and none of them worked. When i got here, they said only bottles can be at the tables, and not beer buckets. However, at 12:30, they seated multiple people with beer buckets at tables. The service is inconsistent and unreliable. Sad i got to spend my birthday like this.

Great Place and great music! We went to see Toño Rosario live. Great show although it started at 3am... My only dissapointment was the attitude of men towards us, two puertorrican women. I get that dominican Men are agressive on their approach but it was too much. Be sure to go with male company so you avoid being uncomfortable. The place is always packed full and Alcohol is a bit expensive so be prepared.

Not a big fan of underground bars but for a place like this the best thing about it is the theme. Great job on the decorations of this place i know for a fact is was very expensive and took some time to put together. I like the idea of how you can go to the bar area which is a huge area. You can also rent an area for private events. One of my favorite parts is that they also have pool tables, my only concern is the pool tables are not up to date. The sticks are old on some tables and the mat is wearing off a bit. Other than that its a great place to come have a drink or 2. The times i been here is either with family or friends they do have coat check at the front. They wont let you take it inside the lounge area. The music sounds pretty good and the DJ booth is located in a perfect spot. I will recommend this place to any one trying to dance or just have a good time and drink.

WORST PLACE EVER!!! They have a mandatory coat check of $5. We ordered three drinks and the bartender charged me $50!!!!! $50!!!!! For three drinks!? That's absurd not even downtown do they charge that much. Will never come back here again. Ordered a Hennessy and coke and the bartender gave me 95% Hennessy and 5% it was wayyy to strong.

Great spot for Dominican music; live bands & a more adult atmosphere .. The only downside is you feel obligated to buy a bottle for a seat. But I personally went to dance so who cares for a seat

You have to enjoy a good Dominican party (and speak Spanish) in order to enjoy this place. Great music with Aguakate la Banda, great hookah and drinks too! Man, I wish I had more friends that like coming to these kind of places.

$5 coat check $18 for one drink of Hennessy VSOP and cranberry (think braided bartender might be overcharging and pocketing money) Music good Awkward spacing around bar and table areas mix of young and old crowd

Went in there once and was not able to stay longer than two hour. I felt claustrophobic, paranoid and concerned about my own safety as well as everyone else's. Seriously, is this city okay with this place being that crowded with only one or maybe two exit on an underground level?? On top of that its costumer service sucks. The waitress was extremely rude to my friends and I and she even took our bottle away because there was a confusion with the payment without even letting us deal with it. They don't take cards which is yet another problem since this place is extremely overpriced. There's no point on getting a table or VIP area since people are still going to be on top of you dancing and invading your personal space doing all kind of stupid stuffs. They also tend to charge an exaggerated and unnecessary entrance fee which shows just how hungry for money they are at this place. I'm no expert but I'm sure that this place has a city violation coming soon cuz I'm sure they are sacrificing their costumer's safety in order to make money by illegally allowing more people than they're suppose to come in. Definitely won't be coming back to this overrated place ever again.

Horrible service! Would never go there again! The place was more than half empty and after paying 20$pp we were expected to buy a bottle in order to sit. We wanted to order cocktails it was a large group so we would have spent more than the cheapest bottle and we were not allowed to. We were asked to move to the bar and when we sat in the chairs available around there two security had us stand and took the chairs away like we were commuting a crime! How embarrassing... Was there to celebrate my birthday and almost left fighting the photographer whom in my face called me rude when I declined to take pictures for their promotional purposes. Money wasn't an issue we simply wanted to sit and drink what we pleased and that seemed too difficult for them to accommodate!! Horrible service... We had never been treated so badly.
