Tinaroo Lake Resort

We love going here for our Annual Christmas family get together. We have been staying there since our children were little. The 3 bedroom units are perfect for the large family. We had Christmas inside. We love the idea of the bedrooms upstairs taking in the views and the living, kitchen, laundry & lounge all downstairs. The pathway around the Lake is fantastic for the early morning walks and late afternoon walks. The views are breathtaking when the sun hits the water and the sounds of the birds in the trees. A truly lovely holiday with everything provided except food. The restaurant opened during the Christmas period and the food was divine. Definitely recommend this place for families or couples wanting that time away from the hustle and bustle of city life.|Lina Calleja

Good location but seriously in need of more staff. No one available at reception, requests took ages to facilitate, restaurant never open. Rooms reasonably clean but need more attention. Bbq’s around lake not functional and pool seating area needs a thorough clean.

Lovely location. Collection of key was less than straightforward hence 4 stars. Room was very comfortable and well-equipped. Enjoyed our all too short stay.

The hosts were very lovely and helped us with our problems. They showed us a lot of things to do in the area and were nice and welcoming whenever we needed them. The apartment was so nice, bid and clean ,so we extended the time here. The view is beautiful and there is a lot of beautiful places around it. We loved it!!

Purely sensational. In all my extensive travels, I have rarely found such a brilliant place. The rooms are exceptional value and of a quality and size usually only found for a much higher price. Location and facilities are brilliant and it's wonderfully peaceful. Don't know what more you could reasonably expect. Furthermore, the owner is one of the most genuinely delightful people I have met for quite some time, truly a sweetheart. Honestly, even if I had business in Cairns each day, I'd probably still rather stay here ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights and paid more than $700 but I was really disappointed with the cleanliness. The smell of the apartment was very unpleasant upon entering. It seems like the apartment wasn't cleaned or refreshed for a very long time before our stay. The bathroom had moulds on the walls and shower. The curtains had stains on it. Windows and balconies were just disgusting to look at, furnitures and air con were quite dusty too. The apartment was spacious and beautiful but it lacked the basic cleanliness.
