Tinaroo Lake Resort

We stayed here for 5 days in July and had a 2 bedroom apartment. When we entered, the place had a very unpleasant smell. It was apparent the apartment had a quick overall clean before we arrived but there were still dead flies and bugs lying on most window sills and the pantry shelves were disgusting. The apartment overall was extremely outdated, worn and tired. The showers had mould throughout the caulking and one of the taps constantly leaked. The main bedroom balcony had no outdoor furniture at all so we had to carry some from the other balcony which was incredibly uncomfortable anyways. The sofas in the living area were incredibly old and felt very dirty was stains throughout. The kitchen served it's purpose and we were able to cook in there. On a positive note, the beds were very comfortable, the views were lovely and the location is top notch. I understand in the current financial crisis that investing in properties is hard, but when you're charging $1400 for 4 nights, guests deserve to be treated with some care and respect. I'm not sure if there is any other accommodation in Tinaroo but sadly, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Value for money. Clean, and felt very invited. Service was excellent from point of entry right till checkout. Unbeatable. Highly recommended. Charlie and Charlene.

Kylie and her team were amazing. Our wedding was well looked after and no request was too hard. Amazing rooms, reception venue and service!

A great resort for a stay of any length by the lake - the rooms are a bit dated but the quality of the fittings is top knotch despite being circa 20 years old. The service was very good and the breakfast served was great.

I'll be honest never stayed at a resort and if this is what it is, i would never stay again. I usually stay at places half the price of here and are much nicer. The location is great .. the moulded bathrooms ... broken curtains and lounge that is so old it's got no supporting you sink in. TV in bedroom didnt work sliding door coming off hinges, skylight full of bugs. I think for a resort and the price we pay you need to step it up abit! No smoking anywhere on land have to stand out on road. Im not sure i would recommend this place, being on the higher end of the scale.

We love going here for our Annual Christmas family get together. We have been staying there since our children were little. The 3 bedroom units are perfect for the large family. We had Christmas inside. We love the idea of the bedrooms upstairs taking in the views and the living, kitchen, laundry & lounge all downstairs. The pathway around the Lake is fantastic for the early morning walks and late afternoon walks. The views are breathtaking when the sun hits the water and the sounds of the birds in the trees. A truly lovely holiday with everything provided except food. The restaurant opened during the Christmas period and the food was divine. Definitely recommend this place for families or couples wanting that time away from the hustle and bustle of city life.|Lina Calleja

Business trip, well appointed and quite. Good place to stay.

The hosts were very lovely and helped us with our problems. They showed us a lot of things to do in the area and were nice and welcoming whenever we needed them. The apartment was so nice, bid and clean ,so we extended the time here. The view is beautiful and there is a lot of beautiful places around it. We loved it!!
