Omg the best breakfast I had in a while. Been going here since I was young and the food is still consistent. Will return asap.

Proper local diner / luncheonette, Tina’s place is full of locals and a few Bushwick hipsters and it’s been there for decades. Great vibes. Food is delicious American diner fare, would highly recommend.

A perfect diner: kind people, simple menu, great service. I also enjoyed the hometown ambiance. Hot chocolate was a nice surprise with chocolate chips ❤️

Tina's Place is the best!!! Tina's offers a true gem of a long-time family-owned neighborhood spot with excellent customer service. This isn't a corny millennial brunch haunt; it's a quality, real deal spot with affordable prices, a breath of fresh air. Every time I leave Tina's, I look forward to my return. If there's a line, don't be deterred. Said excellent service means they move quickly to seat you. It'll be worth it!

I usually come here often with my parents. The atmosphere is usually cool ( although they’re a bit cheap with the ac).. Today will be the last time stepping foot in this place. People should be seated in an orderly fashion. It’s 100 degrees today and I went for breakfast with my family. We get in the restaurant and have to wait to be seated (that’s fine). Then a younger group of 2 comes in and the staff greets them and completely ignores us as if we weren’t there. Then asks them if there’s 2 to be seated, mind you my family of 3 were there before them waiting to be seated. The staff then proceeds to argue that the table that was available doesn’t seat 3 people ( even though we sat in that same table countless of times). If you want to keep the hype of Tina’s alive by only serving younger crowds…. then just say that.

I’ve never left a review on here before, so understand that I really mean it when I say that the evening/night time Mexican food at Tina’s is FANTASTIC. The ingredients are fresh (fish, steak, etc) and you can taste it. Jesus and Sol are such nice people, the sauces are great, everything here is an A+.

This place is really fantastic. Great prices. Friendly service that is fast. Food is excellent. They also have a full taqueria menu. The omelettes are great. Coffee is strong and good. Please never ever close. NYC needs you.

This place has the feel of an old school diner. No frills diner with good food. Corned beef had seemed like it was from a can but still good. Potatoes cooked with onions, bell pepper, and a tomato sauce need salt but that was a minor fix Servers were very attentive and did well. Not bad for the most important meal of the day.

I went to this place to eat some breakfast yesterday. I ordered the chicken tenders and waffles and they tasted great. The waffles tasted like buttermilk and the chicken tenders were well deep fried as well. This is definitely a good place to dine in!

Coming to this diner was a nod to my mom; her name's Tina and she used to love eating breakfast at local diners! So coming here was a treat already! The place has an old school feel to it, which I absolutely love! When I step into a diner, I want that classic 70s aesthetic with random framed pictures of old newspaper clippings and such! You know ow it's gonna be good! And sure enough, this place was excellent! Hearty, delicious breakfast was served by hard-working, attentive employees, that carried a smile the whole time! Needless to say, we'll definitely be back soon!

When you think of a NY Cade, this is exactly what you get. Busy, fast service, typical cafe food, reasonable prices. Despite the hustle and bustle we found a table prettt quickly and got assisted right away. Can't complain about the food, very homemade and tastes like cafe food should taste. I'd go back, just felt like a normal place locals go to eat.

I didn't get to take any photos but this was a great find for a late night meal. Have cash or Venmo app ready. We ordered tacos and burritos. Everything came out fresh and fast. Their chili sauce is fire and have just the right amount of heat. They ran out of horchata for me but I'll come back and try again!

Tina's Place is an unassuming spot in Bushwick, bordering East Williamsburg. It is the perfect diner because it doesn't try to be anything it isn't. Very traditional, run by the same family for a looong time, and very delicious. I visited on a Sunday morning and it was packed before 10:30! They have a deal for a free coffee before 11am which could explain why. To me, the waffle menu didn't seem very exciting but we ordered the california (?) omelet and the blueberry pancakes. The omelet was really tasty, but it isn't a huge portion. Luckily, they had hot sauce out to go with it. There's also something about getting toasted white bread with butter that is surprisingly good. The blueberry pancakes were also good! Very classic, nothing fancy about it. Unfortunately I have a pretentious preference for fresh maple syrup, but I won't knock any stars off for a lack of finesse. The prices were really fair and it felt like you were going to a local spot which can be hard to find in this area. This is an easy five stars, and I will certainly visit again.

I didn't think much of the diner when I saw the pictures of the food and the interior but was curious about the high ratings. The breakfast was surprisingly great. The potatoes were well seasoned and golden, eggs over easy was runny, and the meatloaf was flavorful. I don't believe they serve free coffee before 11am anymore as I don't see it on the menu. I paid $1.50 for coffee and $11.50 for the meatball platter. Cash only establishment. Would definitely be back!

This place is a 10 out of 10. Great service and even better food! I had a California omelette which has avocado, tomato, bacon and cheddar cheese! So good!

This my 10th time at Tina's ! The food is always consistent tasty and the prices ? Well amazing ! I had the meatloaf with eggs toast for $11.00 for lunch seriously $11:00 it was so good I'm smiling ! Tina Serves breakfast and lunch ! Place is always full ! They offer tasty burgers yummy sandwiches Really good basic breakfast but yummy and cheap!!! I love the waffles and buttermilk on cakes with fruit. Let's talk about the service . One word ! Unbelievably amazing fast courteous . Really I love this place and will be coming here for yrs to come :)

Awesome diner that's been in Bushwick for over 80 years! It's a great spot for classic breakfast items and remains cash only. There is an ATM and they now have outdoor street seating. If you're hungry and don't want to spend a lot Tina's is a great spot to stop by.

Food - the food was good the French toast was very tasty. I can taste the sweetness of it without any maple syrup added yet. The vanilla taste was there and hint of cinnamon which I like. The bacon was alright nothing crazy about it. The French fries were a let down as it was crispy and soft inside it was also flavorless I had to add a lot of salt to make it better. Overall do get the French toast it is worth it!! Service - the service was great. I felt invited as soon as I walked in I was greeted right away and told to sit anywhere. The server got me coffee real quick and got my order within 5 mins of sitting down. Food came out quick too. Scenery - the place is very classic vibes almost everything inside is made out of wood. The vibe I felt was welcoming and cozy. It was very hot in there since I was sweating a bit. But I did enjoy eating and chatting in there. Price - the price was amazing the whole made for me and my girlfriend was $33.50 before tip of course. For the food and service from this place it's worth every penny. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the neighborhood. Overall 4.2/5

Very classic diner. Love the wall to wall wood paneling for a retro feel. Big portions for low prices and very fast service. I got "The Basic Meat" with eggs over medium and bacon and it came just how I like it. I see why it's a neighborhood staple!

Low quality, even for diner food. Cash only. Dry sandwich bread. Overcooked eggs in the omelette. The roasted potatoes were really good though. Weak coffee.. even for diner coffee.

Bushwick staple for the last 50 years.. total divey yet clean diner. You get what you pay for.. greasy spoon for sure! Open early closes early.. step up soda bar seating.. everything from French toast to grilled cheese. Get it get it hit it hit it. Thank you Tina for your existence.

I think the potatoes needed more seasoning and the French toast was pretty bland. Other than that, everything tasted great, but nothing was outstanding. The portions are very big and the service is friendly. Compared to other places, the prices are great, which makes it stand out from other diners and why it is likely to become one of my favorite places. It's obviously very popular because the place was packed. Would come back!

Simple breakfast spot after a long night out, don't expect anything extra. Just New York vibes and breakfast

This was near our hostel so we ate here twice in two days. The experiences were basically night and day. The first day was a busy Sunday morning. All the tables were full and we had to sit in the bar area where the chairs were hard and unstable. There were also still dishes sitting on the bar in certain areas that I moved myself. Due to the high volume of customers, our orders took a really long time to even come out. Once we got our breakfast, things were great. I really liked their pancakes and the turkey sausage was delicious. The prices are unbeatable, and that was primarily why we came in the first place. The second day was less crowded and we got to dine at one of the tables. The service was faster, but the waffle I had wasn't amazing. I mean you can't really go wrong with a waffle made on a waffle iron, but I felt it was a little cold/stale. I scarfed it down anyway, because I did enjoy the whipped cream and preservatives they added. There was a fly problem here and I am not sure everyone had their heads covered when they were preparing the food that first day. Make of that what you will. All that said, I would return if in Bushwick. The older woman who took our orders (and perhaps is an owner/manager), was really sweet.

Tina's is a classic diner in an increasingly hipster neighborhood. They have all the basics at very cheap prices. Their hash browns are bomb, pancakes are fluffy, it's just no frills, good food. You can get a whole meal and walk out full for $5. It does get pretty busy though. You kinda feel bad for the servers because they're running around so crazy. It's easy for them to forget about you and can take a while for them to get to your table. That plus cash only are the two biggest downfalls. But for solid food at cheap prices I'll keep coming back.

My co workers made a large order a number of times without a problem, made a order was missing two items so l called to fix the problem when someone answered the phone and l told them the problem, he said l would give you credit and under the same breath said he was not going to send his driver out for the missing items, but you took my money WARNING CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE DRIVER LEAVES.YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED

I went to this place because a lot of my local friends said it was a good hangover spot. It felt like i was sacrificing a lot for cheap food. Potatoes had the dried, hard ends of onion in them and soggy, eggs even if you don't order meat are cooked in bacon grease and taste of bacon, which was quite gross as someone who doesn't eat bacon. Wait staff also doesn't come back after dropping food and you have to really flag someone down to get anything, don't expect a coffee refill. The waffle was passable but not something I'd go out of my way for as everything else i tried was a bit off the three times i went.

Affordable, tasty, and quick. Quality diner. I had French toast, eggs over medium, bacon, toast, and OJ. French toast was a nice thinner yet fluffy recipe. Eggs were cooked to perfection as was the bacon. OJ wasn't exactly "fresh" but definitely good. Reminds me of a diner I went to with my Dad as a kid. 1970s era wood paneling with classic diner decor. Just great place all around that I'm glad is near me.

This is the breakfast diner to which I judge all other breakfast diners. It's a Bushwick staple. I probably get the corn beef hash the most, but their pancakes are great too.

The best diner breakfast for the most bang for your buck! Pancakes, omelettes, muffins are delicious and filling portions. You can get a full breakfast for really cheap and the staff is efficient and friendly. Tina's has been around for a long time and it's a great neighborhood business to try- They're open for takeout!

This spot is our favorite corner in all of Brooklyn. Tina is a wonderful soul. They get rather busy but being patient here is worth it.

Food was great! Too hungry to take pictures but next time. I ordered French toast, white eggs, and regular eggs, hash browns, potatoes, sausages and buttered bread. Delicious tasty

No frills restaurant, good food and cheap. People are friendly and the food comes out quick. This is my favourite place to eat on a budget. I got a egg and bacon club Sandwich with a side of fries and coffee for less than $10 and it was great! I'm glad it's not some overpriced and fusion restaurant you see in this hipster neighbourhood. Also, it's cash only btw.

Came here after a goole search on nearby diners. I wanted simple, American breakfast. You know, pancakes, eggs, bacons, coffee. I walked in and one of the ladies working gave me a hug and was like, Oh my gosh it's so good to see you!! LOL Note that I have never been there before. Turns out i just have a doppleganger, but still it made me feel like a regular and was a sign of good things to come. This place is old school: no nonsense, SOLID coffee, quick service, CASH only. The food was good too! Pancakes are diner pancakes, not too fluffy but delicious and like you made them at home. The omelette cam hot and fresh. IDK if they use real butter but the toast was good and the butter wasn't skimpy. My entire brunch with Greek omelette, side of sausage, short stack and coffe was $20, including tip. Definitely go!

Tina's is amazing. A New York diner with incredible food for a cheap price. It's perfect for the after hours spots where you need some diner food at 4am.

amazing diner, if you're looking for a cheap very not fancy and very diner style breakfast this place has such good corn beef hash and fluffy box-style waffles but they're better than boxed at Tina's and hit the spot especially if you're hungover.

This place is a Gem!!! Found this place from friends who know the neighborhood better, and glad the share it with me. Its a classic diner, quick, food is perfect to help recover from hangover! I've been coming here for a while now. It's usually pretty good and inexpensive as well! I went there today and got seated rather quickly with some friends. Once we sat down, who appeared to be a busser greeted us and got us our drinks(coffee, OJ and waters). He forgot the creamer which wasn't a big deal at all. We were just gunna wait for him to come back. Then the server came over after about 15mins and took our order. I asked her if we could have some half and half as well and she immediately started asking who put the coffee on the table and got mad at the busser for not giving us creamer... the busser brought it over apologizing and I told him it's no problem at all and that I appreciate it! The food came out in about 10 mins or so. That was all fine. But our server isn't even the one who brought it out. Someone else did. We all finished our food and waiting almost 30 mins for our check to be dropped. Meanwhile, as we were waiting...another person just came over and put hot sauce on the table after we were all done lol we looked at another and all started laughing because...uh we already finished and we've been waiting for the check now for a while. About ten more minutes go by so now it's been about half an hour. Our server finally asked if we would like the check..we get it. She ended up charging us for our drinks even though we all sat down and got our drinks before 11. It reads on the menu if its before 11, coffee and juice is free. It was a few dollars..I'm not hurt about that really lol. What Bothers me, is that I've worked in hospitality now for a very long time. I've worked in small family owned restaurants to huge corporate locations on Times Square. It bothers me that the woman who is supposed to be my server and who receives my tip is the one doing the least...who knows, maybe she's one of the owners but if that's the case, she should be doing the most out of anyone, especially at a family owned location like so. The only thing our server actually did was take our order...she didn't get our drinks. She didn't bring our food out. She didn't even check in while we were eating to make sure everything was okay. I wanted to order some other things, but we were never checked up on unfortunately. Hospitality is a soft spot for me. It's the only thing I've ever known...so to come in to a family owned place, I'm expecting good food and great service. Once we got our food it's like we didn't exist. I understand teamwork in the workplace but to be honest this is just ridiculous. Especially, when I see this busser going around busting his ass, running drinks and food, taking deliveries while the actual server is basically doing nothing and just telling people what to do. The sad thing is, the people that often work the hardest, make the least in hospitality. I expected more frankly. I think this is something that really needs to be fixed and to be honest, I think it's time to find another diner. I rarely do reviews let alone bad ones, but this is something I'm very much passionate about and I hope this willl help you become better as a whole.

Very few places like Tina's exist in this area. No frills diner food for very cheap. Pancakes with a side of sausage was $5, and 2 eggs with toast and hash browns was $4. It can get busy on the weekends but everyone that works there is friendly and attentive. Overall, can't beat a meal for two people at $13 with tip.

I usually don't run into any issues at this establishment. The staff is always kind and upbeat. But unfortunately the order wasn't so good. I ordered home fries, eggs, and corned beef hash. Now like I said I never have any issues but when I was eating the food seemed to taste a bit old. So I checked and the corned beef hash had mold!! I can say this is my first time being served old food. I'm sorry Tina's Place but I won't be coming back. Please check your food before serving.

TIP: CASH ONLY. They have an ATM inside if you need to take out some cash. This is a small local diner in Brooklyn that can get extremely busy on weekends. It's affordable, staff is friendly and service is okay. I had a few breakfast staples along with my cousin and we enjoyed our meal. Just wish service had been a little bit quicker the day we were there, but it was busy.
