My experience at Ting Thai Summer Noods was absolutely fantastic. The spicy margaritas were a perfect start—they had a brilliant kick and were incredibly refreshing. They are easily some of the best I've had. For the main course, I went for the chicken Pad Thai, and it was exceptional. It had that authentic, smoky flavour known as wok hay, which truly elevates the dish. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the chicken was tender and delicious. It's clear that Ting Thai puts a lot of care into their food and drinks. The combination of excellent cocktails and a perfectly executed main dish makes it a must-visit. I highly recommend it!

The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all exactly what we were hoping for when trying to find lunch for a reasonable price. The meal was delicious, and the noodles so wonderful we went back for dinner the next day! Do not let the low price deter you, it was genuinely fabulous and definitely worth every penny.

A friend and I visited this Thai restaurant near Teviot in Edinburgh after a few people recommended it to me—and I was definitely not disappointed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had a lovely time and I would happily go back again. A great spot for Thai food lovers!

For a Thai restaurant in Edinburgh, you cannot ask for more. The flavours are really good and authentic. Thenprice is very reasonable too. The good are generally a bit sweet, and I wish they use slightly less sugar l.

I always come here alone, and they have the best opening hours—it’s the latest open restaurant I can find! My personal recommendation is the Pad Thai with prawn (but I never took photos because they always use takeaway cartons). The portion is huge and really filling!

I tried several dishes from the menu. The Khao mum gai tod ( Thai fried chicken with rice) was served a bit cold- the chicken was very crispy, maybe a bit too much for my liking. The sauce was tasty, but the rice was not the usual garlic/ginger rice you would expect in an authentic Thai dish. Also the salad on the side feel a little less traditional. The best dish was the Massaman Pork Belly. Delicious- the curry was rich, full of flavous. Definitely a must try. I also had a takeaway of the seabass maklong - cooked well, i didn't like the sauce at all. The service was friendly and smooth. The relaxed atmosphere make Ting Thai worth a visit.

Typical very Westernized "Thai" food for people who have never had actual Thai in their lives. Mostly just noodles in heaps of salty soy sauce with that cheap bright red sweet chilli sauce slathered over everything. Noodles were pretty terrible, and resembled a cheap British-Chinese takeaway rather than any Thai food I've ever had, although they are presented nicely. The pork belly was ridiculously served. Huge hunks of very hard, fried-to-death pork with no knife to cut it! Like... um. It was allegedly a soup or curry, so you're not supposed to use your hands, but they give you a spoon and fork for large pieces of tough pork? Odd. The eggs were good enough. I mean, they weren't like any son-in-law eggs I've seen, and again, it was that supermarket sweet chilli jam and nothing else. But they were nicely cooked. The server was great. Super friendly and helpful. Too bad the food isn't much and the ambience is like a canteen. It's probably good for British uni students though, which I assume is who they cater to.

I was given the wrong order, I told them I was in a rush and whether they would be able to accommodate that, they said it will even be quicker so I happily ordered as my husband was waiting for his chicken kaut sway back home (in a different city). I ordered yam moo yang which I was also looking forward to. I had to catch a train so I went straight to the station after getting my order and when I checked, I realized they have given me the wrong order. Worst part is my partner is allergic to seafood, have no idea what I was given but there were definitely prawns in there. Definitely will be speaking to yourselves for a refund because this is ridiculous, hopefully it gets resolved and I can update this review on how this restaurant deals with wrong orders, especially one that could have been dangerous to their customer. Update- Manager was professional in handling the refund smoothly and quickly although I would like to just say be more careful next time especially considering allergens.
