We missed our flight out, so we were in dire need of a last-minute affordable room for the night. What we got was the best evening of our trip. The staff was top-notch. They went above and beyond with everything. Already feeling like royalty, we went down to dinner after spending some time on the pink sand beach. Dinner was a dream. The lobster was huge and cooked to perfection. From the moment I spoke with Juanita to check in availability to the parting ride down to the water taxi, I knew we were in good hands. 4 stars on the location just because the beach access is not ideal, but not bad. We are thankful and happy we found this hotel.

This was our first time on the island. Baby Ruby’s hospitality was amazing. Our room was so comfortable and very clean. Loved that they had a bar and restaurant right on the property. The food was authentic and amazing. We rented a golf cart from Tingum Village which made things so convenient and only a 2 minute drive to the Pink Sand Beach!

It's been 30 years since we were last on Harbour Island. At that time we stayed at a different property and we had dinner a couple of times at Ma Ruby's which we always remembered as a great experience. So this visit we decided to stay at Tingum Village with Ma Ruby's daughter, Juanita. This is a great mid-range property with a number of room options. Our first week we rented a 3 bedroom "cottage" as our daughter and her family joined us. The second week we moved to what I think is called a "deluxe suite" as it was just my wife and I. While not on the beach, you're also not paying those exorbitant beach front prices. We rented a golf cart a few times but you can easily walk virtually anywhere on the island. We spent our daily beach time renting chairs from "Ms V's" which was about a 14 minute walk from Tingum Village. We had a daily continental breakfast of usually a bagel, or toast, or johnny cake and fruit, or order off the menu. Dinners at Ma Ruby's were great and the Native Grouper was exceptional. There are certainly other very good dining options on the island. Juanita and her staff were very friendly and attentive and took very good care of us. The rooms may need of bit of updating but other than low water pressure which seems to be an island wide issue, we were more than satisfied with our accommodations.

We stayed in the Eleuthra Room. It was roomy, clean and really pretty. It had a big jet tub with a nice rain fall showerhead. The staff was happy, pleasant and attentive. We liked that it was a short walk from town. We rented a golf cart from them, too, which is a great way to get around the island. Regrettably, I left my make up bag at the hotel. When I called to report it, the staff already knew I had left it and Juanita was planning to take it to the States and mail it back to me, which she did as promised. So not only was our stay comfortable, Juanita continued to look out for me even after I left!

My husband & I stayed at Tingum Village in April. It is a lovely local hotel. The room was pretty, clean and had a small kitchenette so we could make coffee in the morning. We also rented a golf cart from them which is a great way to get around the island. The hotel is a very short walk from the dock, shops and some restaurants. The staff was friendly and responsive. We are so glad we stayed!

We loved our stay at the Tingum Hotel on Harbour Island! Juanita is the most gracious and welcoming host you could ask for. Our accommodations were fantastic—charming, comfortable, and full of island character. Each morning started with a delicious continental breakfast included in our stay. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. You *can* spend more time and more money elsewhere, but you simply won’t find a better value than Tingum. The atmosphere, hospitality, and location make it a hidden gem. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Harbour Island!

Tingum Village 17th and 18th of February 2025.||We actually booked our trip to Tingum Villlage Hotel via Agoda but for some reason I cannot find any way or writing a review on the Agoda website. ||This may possibly be because Agoda, despite accepting our payment and sending us a booking number, had double booked us at the Tingum Village. I must emphsise that this was not the fault of the hotel and they were most apologetic and ended up upgrading us as the room we'd booked was aready taken. Everybody the the hotel was super helpful. We enjoyed a quiet drink in their characterful bar while they dealt with the situation. ||We ate at the restaurant both nights of our stay and really enjoyed the ambience and food. The accomdation was clean and comfortable and if we end up visiting Harbour Island again we will most certainly be booking a room with them.||The hotel is ideally situated in the middle of the island a short walk from the beach, marina, shops and restaurants. The staff were lovely to talk with and could not have been more helpful.

The stay at the Tingum Village Hotel has been a disgrace since check-in which was delayed for more than 1 hour as my room was not ready for the time as it should have been. The disgrace continued as I stayed in the room: water, electricity and noise were the issues. These basic things were not at a standard of a 3 star hotel. The water kept on not functioning and going off in the most inappropriate times; I couldn’t shower when I wanted to and couldn’t use the bathroom. The water pressure of the shower was not existing and the hot water was not working properly. Workers were making so much noise below my room at the most inappropriate times and I was not informed about nor moved to another room to ease my discomfort. I heard nailing and drilling right below my room and couldn’t rest in quiet when wanted to. When I tried to outreach to the owner Juanita she kept on reassuring me but no actions were taken to ease my discomfort and my concerns. I was literally left alone with no water on one night and told to use an outside bathroom in the dark with no light. This is not just a clear lack of customer service and hospitality but also disrespectful towards me as a human being. Especially as Tingum is not cheap; if you want to be cheap then you cannot charge those prices. And Juanita kept on promising to refund me fully and she never did. I tried to outreach to her multiple times after my stay and she never replied nor said a message of apologies. Tingum is fraud and it made me feel embarrassed to have my guest staying in this “so called hotel”.
