"Stunning Son Tra One of Danang's most amazing -- yet underrated -- drawcards is the wild Son Tra Peninsula. Unlike other coastal areas in Danang, the peninsula has benefited from a conservation order which has kept big resorts at bay. A motorbike trek encompassing the entire area, which numbers beaches, mountains and dramatic coastline among its highlights, is the best way to experience its beauty."
So nice and peaceful, like a totally different side of Da Nang. One the 1km walk here we saw families of monkeys, cats and dogs and while here the fish are absolutely beautiful. Very scenic, but unfortunately there is a lot of rubbish on the walk there and in the actual garden which is a great shame that people would come here and then try to spoil it by not cleaning up after themselves. With the buddist statues and incense candles here it makes the prevalence of littering even more disrespectful - please leave the place as you found it!

A nice small park with a beautiful pond full of big colourful fish. But there is an issue. I came to this park around 5 times - all the time the park was closed and only once it was opened.

This beautiful hidden place is perfect for escaping traffic and enjoying the calmness of the woods. The garden is small but well done, with a variety of bamboo labeled and an excellent pond containing huge goldfish, other fish, and a lazy turtle. It's an ideal spot to spend a relaxing afternoon in the shade. Despite its peaceful atmosphere, the garden is not usually busy and offers plenty of shade.

Peaceful little picnic spot. They're building a restaurant.

The Bamboo garden is a beautiful, natural space to visit as you hike up the Son Tra mountain. There í are stream, small waterfalls, a pond, footpaths and bamboo and other trees and plants. There are also many places to sit and their are beverages sold at the entrance. The garden is free to visit. After you visit the garden you can continue to hike up the mountain to see the views of Da Nang, monkeys, birds, butterflies and many flowers and trees.

Tranquil. Sit for 10 minutes or 2 hours. Early morning meditation will be a dream here. Bring insect repellant (pesky mosquitoes always nip my ankles).
As others have said, this location is beautiful beyond words and sure to soothe inner turmoil. If I lived in Da Nang, this location would be a second home.

Beautiful and quiet. Coming here, I felt like I was immersed in nature. When I arrived, it seemed like it was transferred to the army so I didn't see the teacher. There are many different types of bamboo, the lake has some cute turtles, some dogs, there are two children leading the way 🤣 on both sides are hills so you can climb up to breathe the air, and there are also monkeys. But wear a little more because there are a lot of insects. Otherwise, just hang out below.

The Sơn Trà Bamboo Conservation Area is a great place to learn about bamboo. It is home to over 100 varieties of bamboo, collected by the monk Thích Thế Tường.
You can wander through the shady paths, admiring the towering bamboo stalks and listening to the gentle rustle of the leaves and the murmur of water.
It is a great place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of city life. However, this is also where the monk lives, so please:
1. Keep quiet.
2. Dress modestly.
3. Do not throw any rubbish.
I even saw a man dipping his whole foot into the koi fish pond, has he no shame? And some used drink bottles were hung onto the bamboo or left in the stream. Homo sapiens, please behave well!
