I was at the airport with the kids in transit to another location and decided to grab a bite at Tinker Coffee. The ladies who served us were very nice and prompt with our orders. I liked the food. The French Dip I ordered was good, although I think it could’ve offered a bit more meat. The kids had a BLT and chicken tenders which they liked. They have a good selection of spirits, wine and beer. I ordered a Guinness for myself. The atmosphere was nice with a cool accent wall with a mural on subway tile. Tinker coffee is a good option while waiting for your next flight!

Google
Stopped by Tinker Coffee after a long red-eye flight since it was conveniently located right outside my gate. The line moved slower than I expected, especially for an airport spot where speed matters. On the plus side, the airport restrooms are just around the corner, which is convenient while waiting. Coffee quality was descent and nothing special. The wait time could be improved. Overall, a decent stop if you’re not in a rush. Efficient: No First-Time Friendliness: Yes Would I Return: No JY review

Google
I’m a decaf coffee drinker by necessity. An Americano coffee is NOT the same as a brewed coffee. Even you acknowledge that since you brew regular coffee. Yet you no longer offer brewed decaf ( you used to) but offer only Americano for those of us who can’t tolerate caffeine. How difficult/expensive would it be to install a smaller coffeemaker to brew decaf for those of us who prefer that? Sorry, but I can’t patronize your business

Google
These ladies made my experience so great and to top it off some of the best coffee I have had all year!! Their suggestions was 10/10 ice white mocha brown sugar latte. Thanks Redd, Kayden, Makayla Rick Star crew.

Google
This location very convenient for the B entrance from TSA. The coffee is considerably better than the restaurant coffee at other tenant slots on the B Concourse. Friendly staff and faster than SBX. The menu is simple so things move fast. There are also outlets to charge your phone here - but not at the front “high top seating”

Google
I’m giving five across the board here. Most airports suck and I have been in a lot of them. This is, without a doubt, the best crew I have encountered in any coffee shop in the country. They’re hilariously fun, give good service and make everyone around them smile. We sat and continued to observe people exiting the premises, smiles, wrapped to firmly around their faces. It’s one thing to have a good product, but it doesn’t matter without good people and they specialize in that here. Courtney and Miona thank you for making a very long trip end on a great note.

Google
Heading out super early for a flight and found this coffee shop! It did not disappoint. We had the iced caramel latte with extra shots and ordered a DELICIOUS breakfast bagel - sausage, egg and cheese! It was incredible. The workers were super friendly and fun! It is a must try!

Google
Pretty decent coffee place. I got the bacon egg and cheese bagel and it was an 8/10. It was toasted but if I had to be picky, could be toasted a little more. Coffee is good too. I would eat here again for breakfast when at this airport.

Yelp
The Starbucks at IND is always bonkers and the secret is that Tinker usually has a much shorter line and is WAY better. As a fan of huge drip coffees, this hits the spot, but the real all-star was this absurdly flavorful and fluffy pistachio muffin! I've also had amazing flavored coffees from other Tinker locations. Even if you are in the other terminal, this is an easy walk and well worth it!

Yelp
I always have to check off trying a local coffee shop on my list when traveling. A friend recommended Tinker Coffee and since I didn't have time to explore the downtown locations, I knew I had to try to get to the one at the airport. Thankfully, it was in our terminal near our gate! The staff was pleasant and fairly helpful. I appreciate that Tinker offers vegetarian/vegan options. I ordered an almond milk latte as well as an egg, cheese, and plant-based sausage bagel. As busy as they were, the staff was pretty efficient and my order was ready within minutes. Both items were enjoyable. There's ample seating around the cafe. My husband and I ate our food and got some work done there while waiting to board. Not a bad spot!

Yelp
Stopped by Tinker Coffee after a long red-eye flight since it was conveniently located right outside my gate. The line moved slower than I expected, especially for an airport location where speed really matters. Restrooms are just around the corner, which is a nice plus when you're stuck waiting. The coffee itself was decent, nothing particularly memorable. The wait time definitely has room for improvement. Overall, it's an okay spot if you're not in a rush, but not a place I'd go out of my way for. Efficient: No First-Time Friendliness: No Would I Return: No JY review

Yelp
This remains a great airport coffee shop. They have baristas who are friendly even before 5 AM. The quality is solid to very high and the snack are on point.
google avatar

Madison T.

Yelp
The Indy airport is such a wonderful airport. I didn't do the Starbucks route as I decided Tinker would be a less sugary taste and love their coffee anyways. The barista was so kind and gave some recommendations. They only had 2 fall drink options; pumpkin spice and a cold brew. The white mocha didn't disappoint and tastes like local coffee, it is delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
I went to Tinker Coffee again flying out of IND. This time they had two baristas and the speed of service was much more reasonable. The two baristas were both pleasant, but I had actually been about to go to the table service cafe on the other side but was put off by the grumpy hostess and decided to just go to the coffee counter rather than deal with that. Same experience with the food - so-so muffin but really good coffee. I had a chocolate cheesecake muffin (I thought there was not enough cream cheese for the size of the muffin) and a lavender haze latte. If I'm at IND in the morning again, I think I'll try one of the table service restaurants in search of better food, but this does seem like a solid spot for beverages.

Yelp
On my way to a wedding in Florida and needed a fuel stop. Pulled into B concourse and found Tinker Coffee and they took really good care of me. The service was great and the barista's were very friendly. They had seating in a place for you to rest for a while if you needed however I was close to my gate so I just moseyed down the concourse. I would recommend Tinker Coffee for a great cup of coffee and I understand they also have tea.
google avatar

Natalie K.

Yelp
I am so glad this coffee shop opens early in the morning. Tried their latte and it was delicious. The service was quick and friendly
google avatar

Amber Z.

Yelp
Fast courtest service. $6 and change for a large black coffee. The coffee was extra hot. After 20 minutes, it is still steaming. Thank you for the great pick-me-up this morning.
google avatar

John R.

Yelp
A broccoli and cheddar soup plus a beer to hold me over for a short flight. Service was attentive and for even being in the middle of an airport it felt like you were outside the chaos for the short time you were there.
google avatar

Yelp
This Tinker Coffee stand is located in Terminal A at IND and close to the United Airlines gates. I enjoyed a coffee and a muffin here yesterday prior to boarding. Both were better than expected. This Tinker Coffee also has a restaurant attached, which accommodated Gayle's pre-flight Bloody Mary tradition.

Yelp
Tinker Coffee is my favorite part of traveling through IND. If I recall correctly, there's two locations, with one in each concourse. I like to visit the location that includes the full meal service café. At this location, there's sit down tables as well as bar counters with sports TVs. This is a nice option if you have a longer time to wait in the airport. However, they also have a walk up counter for takeout service for on-the-go needs. First, I got a lavender London fog from the coffee service at the front. It had the Eras tour specific naming of this drink as The Cardigan. I love how they usually have a themed seasonal menu available! I'd also recommend the five spice latte on their regular menu. I then walked around to the side of the location the cafe service walk up counter and ordered the loaded fries. They are quite generous with the portion size and topping. Although it's not cheap (around $15, but the airport premium is expected), I think it's much greater in value compared to other airport restaurants I've been to. I also recommend their bacon and scrambled eggs with hash browns if you're there for an early morning flight. Sadly no pictures because the airport is usually a rush experience for me. But please know that Tinker is always on my IND departure checklist!

Yelp
Great, quick and efficient service. Place is overpriced but nothing new with airport prices. Got a medium iced Americano and a Dasani water for $12.00. Aside from that, always happy to support a local shop. Fast paced environment with adequate lighting. Definitely a place to stop by when close to gate A

Yelp
I was going to my gate for my flight to Chicago and decided to stop by Tinker Coffee for a Latte. I looked at the specials on the board, and the iced strawberry matcha caught my attention. I went up to the counter and was greeted with a big smile from the baristas. One of them asked me if I wanted a free bagel egg sandwich with bacon due to a mishap from a previous order, and of course, I said yes. I ordered the iced strawberry matcha latte, and she literally lit up with enthusiasm stating how excellent it is and how they did samples of the iced strawberry matcha yesterday, and people loved it and wanted to try more samples. I placed my order and she was very pleasant and professional. When I received the iced strawberry matcha and took my first sip, I fell in love with the beverage. It was simply the best latte I have ever had in quite a while. The bagel egg sandwich with bacon was good, but did not blow me away with excitement. I'm glad it was free that day, because I would not order the sandwich again. The ambiance is very nice for an airport location with seating available and space to work on your laptop or iPad. It is very attractive looking with nice decor. I did enjoy my beverage very much, and would definitely come back to Tinker Coffee for a latte the next time I fly out of Indianapolis airport. I would hope the iced strawberry matcha is back on the menu because it is phenomenal! You have to try it!

Yelp
I was there mid-morning on a weekday and did not have to wait at all to order coffee. I had the 5-spice latte (iced) and it reminded me of a dirty chai.
google avatar

Luis G.

Yelp
The coffee is good but an $8 cold brew with $2 extra for non-dairy milk is a crime against god and man.
google avatar

Jessica B.

Yelp
Tinker coffee is a local Indy favorite for those unfamiliar. The location at the entrance of concourse B is a perfect easy one stop shop for a quick bite and coffee for that morning flight. I'm a fan of their 5 spice latte. It's expresso, milk, and some kind of spice blend which I would liken to a chai type taste but not?! Today I had the Turkey, egg and cheese sandwich. It's a steamed (microwaved) bagel with Turkey deli meat, American cheese and an egg patty. Nothing outstanding but a great source of fuel that should keep satisfied until mid afternoon. Post pandemic, I really appreciate consistency in product and kind/attentive employees. Tinker street checks all my boxes.

Yelp
We saw reviews saying Tinker was a little expensive but it isn't anymore than Starbucks. With that we were happy to choose LOCAL! And we're so glad we did because it's WAY better. It's clear this company cares about a good roast and a good cup. The menu is easy to read and there's no confusing language. The baristas are very kind, laid back, and happy to be there. Tinker will now be my go-to place for coffee every time I'm in the Indy Airport!
google avatar

Phil M.

Yelp
Quite possibly the best coffee stop I've visited in any airport. From now-on, if there is a Tinker Coffee in the terminal it will be my go-to. Far superior to Starbucks and just what I needed for my early morning flight out of IND. The Americano was spot-on with just enough room for half-and-half ( often that requests goes sideways at the other place ). The egg and cheese Everything bagel ( with bacon ) I ordered was fantastic! Perfectly toasted and hot, nicely wrapped for the trek to my seat to await the flight. Very tasty and highly recommended. All in all a pleasant experience. Service was friendly and quick. Skip S-Bucks and do yourself a favor - Tinker Coffee is the way to go.
google avatar

Yelp
I was in Indy and looking for a quick coffee. This place is pretty popular. I got my coffee quickly and it tasted as I expected. The baristas are friendly. I picked up my coffee and moved on. It's everything you expect from a coffee shop.
google avatar

Tiffany N.

Yelp
It does the trick? I wish I had more to say but legit, it really does. Staff is friendly and hipster enough to keep me coming back for me. I've only had Americanos and drip coffee ($4 a pop, oof!) but it's good in a pinch and added bonus for opening at 430am!
google avatar

Steven W.

Yelp
Tinkee Coffee has great coffee and super service and it isn't *bucks. So a great place to get your fix at the Indianapolis airport! :)
google avatar

Kae J.

Yelp
In airport, it was open when we checked in at 5 am. Very good coffee with a lovely crema! I am glad I got a medium americano. They were busy but the barista took the time to ask me exactly how much room I wanted. Awesome !! It was a bit pricey even for the airport but I am so so glad I did not walk down to Starbucks. It was well worth the $5 for a 16 oz drink.
google avatar

Brooke B.

Yelp
Went to the location in terminal A, service was friendly and they have a full cafe with food items if of interest. Really good nitro cold brew!
google avatar

Sarah F.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this coffee but didn't have the chance to do so until recently when I was flying out of the b concourse. The space is awesome for an airport, small but plenty of seating around. The service is quick and efficient, and I loved my iced latte, it was just the hit I needed before my flight. I need to go back to check out more delicious coffee and what looks like good food!
google avatar

Russ L.

Yelp
Service I had no complaints. Price? Big complaint. Large breve mocha was 11.42, .99 for the chocolate, and 1.99 for breve???? Seriously. That's about the 36% of the cost of a half gallon from Kroger, or 50% for Land o Lakes.
google avatar

Megan F.

Yelp
I love that Tinker Coffee is at the Indianapolis airport! The location is easy to access if you are going to concourse A or B. I ordered a vanilla latte and the service was quick and friendly! For all the coffee lovers out there who want to try a local spot, check out Tinker Coffee!

Trin S.

Yelp
I asked for an iced chai with two shots of espresso and vanilla- instead when I watched them make it it was premade mix, no espresso added, it tastes like sugar water, and it was a whopping $9.97. Waste of money, and it wasn't even what I asked for. I can accept when things just aren't my personal taste, truly I am not picky, but I really needed the caffeine this AM.
google avatar

S R.

Yelp
Fork coffee. Come here for the food and beer. We enjoyed hoppopotamus while feasting on a French dip (a quality sandwich in Wrigleyville, let alone an airport) and a Chicken Caesar Salad (crunchy. Warm chicken, delicious). Airport restaurants suck. This one is really good.
google avatar

Joe S.

Yelp
It's always nice to have a local shop in an airport. I think it used to be something different, but now it's a Tinker. They tinkered with the name and the space, I guess. They should tinker a bit with the placement of the menu though as you have to kinda be right up in it's business to read it. The coffee was good and it did the trick for the plane ride home (for alertness, not the other effect). The line wasn't too long when I was there, but I'm guessing it can be during peak morning hours. Staff was friendly and the drink was delivered promptly. If I'm flying through IND again, I'll probably stop in here for some coffee. Unless they tinker with the space again.
google avatar

India W.

Yelp
The cashier was very friendly. quickly greater me and started small talk . i got the brown sugar cinnamon iced latte , and it was soo good . there's a few pastries available . and a few chairs available incase you'd like to remain near by and consume your items . location was very clean and organized . plan to come back next time i'm in the airport
google avatar

Stephen S.

Yelp
Hands down the best cup of coffee I've had at an airport! Latte was perfect! Good milk foam and even a decent little heart . I got the five spice latte which had just enough flavor and spice to make it interesting without being overpowering. Food was ok, avocado toast was toasty but nothing really else going on. Better beer menu than I've seen a lot of places during my trip. So stick to the drinks and get that cup of coffee!!!

Ben P.

Yelp
Crappy coffee drinks. Overpriced. I rather drink toilet water. Rude staff. They delay orders for not tips
google avatar

Jay J.

Yelp
This location is the Tinker Coffee in the airport. The service was friendly. The coffee was made in a timely manner and it was good. However, the coffee was expensive compared to other similar coffee shops.
google avatar

Rick S.

Yelp
Whenever I traverse the Indianapolis Airport, I always stop in at Tinker Coffee. Their breakfast sandwiches always hit the spot and they always get my chai tea latte out quickly so I can more time enjoying my order and not having to hustle to the gate so quickly. It doesn't matter what time of day you visit, the service is always friendly and fast. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Katherine S.

Yelp
Cole is the man. Flight got delayed 4 hours then canceled and he took care of everyone at the bar.
google avatar

Ann L.

Yelp
Hallelujah! Fast, good coffee at the airport at long last! When I have an early flight, I need my coffee as quickly as possible, and I hate to resort to the "coffee" from establishments that don't really make coffee. I had my latte in minutes, and was at my gate relaxing with plenty of time to enjoy it before my flight boarded. Excellent coffee and friendly service at 6AM; I cannot ask for more!
google avatar

Brittany S.

Yelp
I had a really lovely experience here recently after landing from a work trip (I was also delighted to see that their second location in the airport had opened up!). The staff was very friendly and one of the women in particular (wishing I caught her name) did a great job at representing Tinker (enthusiastic about the beans, drinks, etc.). I ordered a Five Spice latte (so darned good) with oat milk and one of their breakfast sandwiches (equally delicious). I'm looking forward to all of my upcoming travel through IND and a little kickstart to the trip with the help of Tinker Coffee. You also can't beat the layout of this coffee shop with prime people watching real estate and high top seating (in the heart of the concourse). Note: hoping something can be updated to allow tipping on credit cards as I imagine a lot of the folks traveling for work through the airport are paying via CC. Luckily, I had some cash on hand.

Rafael G.

Yelp
Food is below average and food and drinks are incredibly overpriced! Service is as ok, convenient spot to most gates.
google avatar

Staci W.

Yelp
Before my early morning flight- I got a black coffee. The staff were friendly and asked if I needed room for cream. Price was meh- $5 for a single small cup. It helped perk me up and the flavor was good. Just what you need!
google avatar

Tori M.

Yelp
Pretty good as far as airport coffee shops go. Staff is really friendly and helpful but efficient. I loved my lavender haze latte.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
The breakfast roast with oat milk was a perfect balance to start my day of travel from the Indy airport. I love local and this cup of coffee was roasted and brewed well. Real good coffee! On top that the baristas were so joyful and kind to serve on Christmas Day!
google avatar

Cam S.

Yelp
The five spice latte is great! Has a bit of a kick to it, but the flavors all come together so well. Nice little chain local to Indy. Their coffee is all single origin, so that's cool.
google avatar

Chris P.

Yelp
Generally like to try places other than Starbucks. Tinker was good, not great. They seemed confused by my wife, wanting a peppermint mocha latte and service was not quite as fast as I would've expected. Good coffee though.
google avatar

Micaela S.

Yelp
The service was fantastic. Quick and efficient. This coffee was simply meh. It was Luke warm and lacked flavor.Wish there was a Starbucks in this terminal. If you are wanting good joe...this is probably not the best place. They had some tea and water in the case and also offered a few pastry type items.
google avatar

Luke W.

Yelp
Could not believe nor was prepared for a fantastic cup of sweet balanced bean juice cleaning out the early flight blues at an airport! These guys fired up a perfect brew of five spice latte epic sips that lasted me all the way down to Florida! I was way too happy while the others munched their overpriced foods to drink a great value supporting a local roaster and getting very fresh quality beans in the deal. Not sure why airports tend to attract the worst service and reviews but I am super happy to announce Starbucks is dead!
google avatar

Matt C.

Yelp
(this coffee shop is located inside the terminal of IND airport, concourse B) for an airport coffee shop this is about as good as it gets. nice to have a choice and be steered away from the gangsters at Starbux. this is better in my "pro" opinion. friendly service, high quality coffee, and not the absurd, laughable lines one sees at Starbux...
google avatar

Maureen B.

Yelp
Traveling for work and needed a bite before catching my flight. Tinker was closer to my gate than Atarbucks and I wanted to give them a try since I've had their coffee before. The menu was definitely very limited in terms of selections. I got an iced vanilla latte and coffee cake. Coffee cake was just too sweet for me but I don't blame that on Tinker. The coffee was good and not too sweet. I forgot to ask if they had any other milk alternatives so I won't complain about that. If I were a regular coffee drinker, I would choose Tinker over Starbucks. I do hope they add other milk alternatives.
google avatar

JHrndz H.

Yelp
The creature of habit I am decided to venture from the usual Iced Caramel Latte and try something new. Brown Sugar Cinnamon didn't sound like it would be a flavor that I could go wrong with, even if I didn't like it as much as the caramel. However, the flavor was perfection. It hit my tastebuds and I knew instantly that this was my new favorite. Don't let me forget to mention the friendly baristas! Excellent service excellent product!
