Paradise Road Tintagel Colombo

Having arrived from London, we were welcomed with usual soft drinks and friendly staff who settled us in. Accommodation was first rate and bar and restaurant offered wide range and excellent quality. We had a guide so seeing the City was easy but hotel quite a way out so walking not really an option. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel and couldn’t fault the service.

Me and my fiance went for dinner and sad to say that the place, dishes and the service do not live upto the standards of 5 star. The two dishes we ordered were too greasy and the portion sizes are not worth the price. Had two juices and they tasted awful. The menua has a serious lack of food options. Then we always had to wait till a waiter to show up which sometimrs caused us to stay for 5mins. I highly doubt why it is been given with 5 star ratings. Will be happily gone to a more recognized place like cinnamon ot hilton.

If you are looking for a quiet place to dine in with elegance and class this is your go to place. Their menu is carefully crafted. Every bite you take gives you a burst of flavors. An assortment of liquor, cocktails and wines are available. Best for special occasions or even just treating yourself.

Tucked away in the peaceful streets of Colombo 7, Tintagel offered an experience that far exceeded my expectations. The moment I arrived, I was taken in by the beauty of its colonial architecture and the calm, refined atmosphere. It felt like stepping into a different era, full of charm and elegance. I chose to sit in the courtyard, which was lush, intimate, and beautifully lit in the evening. The food was absolutely top notch. Every dish was thoughtfully presented and full of flavor. The Sri Lankan black pork curry stood out the most. It was rich, spicy, and perfectly cooked. I also had one of the best chocolate mousses I have ever tasted. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind without ever feeling intrusive. What truly set Tintagel apart for me was the atmosphere. It is rare to find a place that feels this refined while still being so welcoming. Whether you are there for a quiet dinner, a romantic evening, or simply to treat yourself, this place delivers. I highly recommend Tintagel to anyone visiting Colombo who wants more than just a meal. This is an experience.

This was just a quick overnight stay as we were passing through. What a lovely home. Beautifully decorated, spacious rooms, many areas to sit and relax. May be a great place to hold business meetings. Thank you to the absolutely wonderful staff for your accommodation and attending to my every need. I was very unwell, and you all went above and beyond to provide me comfort.

Hotel was beautiful, staff were incredibly helpful. Rooms were a bit smaller than advertised as they only have two rooms shown in images. Very in keeping with the history of the building. Beautiful pool and lovely restaurant

Wonderfully atmospheric building, and excellent food and service. Breakfast in the courtyard was delicious and dinner on the verandah was wonderful. Cocktail bar was gorgeous and had the best Cosmopolitan of the trip there! Really attentive housekeeping staff and front of desk for check out in particular.

We had a Super Luxurious and highly comfortable stay at the hotel. All the managers, staff, chefs are super courteous and friendly. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a luxurious, comfortable and friendly place to stay in Colombo.
