My van back home out of state got delayed, and I was really hungry. I was in the mood for Tapas. So, I was able to find this Tapas restaurant while waiting the extra two hours (no thanks to Titos van service). Ill start with the decor. The restaurant is tiny compared to most spanish/Tapas restaurants ive been to. But the ambiance of the restaurant was nice. It didn't remind of Spain, but it was elegant, cozy, a nice hue flowed through the room. Now for the food....... oh lord. I see this restaurant somehow garnered over 4 star reviews.... I had the jam croquettes, the goat cheese and spinach omelette and a chocolate mousse. The croquettes were terrible. The most tasteless ones ive ever had and ive been to many Tapas restaurants with croquettes. There was no flavor. Just a bland white sauce that went with it that did the croquettes zero justice. The omelet was decent. You cant mess that up too much. But the salad that came with it... idk what that vinaigrette was on it, but please, respectfully, stop using it. It tasted, and smelled sour. Now the chocolate mouse was actually good. Not the best I had, but I did enjoy it. In fact, it was the only thing I enjoyed. Presentation The presentation of all the food was beautiful. Everything was plated fairly well. The young waiter was also very nice and delivered good service. Would I recommend to anyone? No. Would I come back to this restaurant? No. The menu needs more flavor for sure compared to other Tapas place like Boquieria.

We came here for a special celebration dinner and it’s my new favorite local spot. Highly recommend the Tinto Sour, paella and bacon wrapped dates as standout dishes. Also, our waiter made some excellent suggestions about the order of the dishes that enhanced our meal. It was great to see this place almost full - if you’re local please come and dine here and support this spot!

I'm delighted to have discovered this hidden gem in my neighborhood. I enjoy everything about it. I've been there on several occasions from date nights, dinner with with best friend and couples date nights, and each occasions the restaurant was warm, and cozy; and he food was made with care and passion. I appreciate Ernesto's authentic charm. You can tell he enjoys his craft! He's always welcoming and accomodating and truly gets the dining experience. He makes sure you have a wonderful experience every time. His recommendations are always on point. Thank you! Aurelia & Pedro

A perfect spot after a stroll through the Cloisters! This little gem is cozy and has a great vibe the minute you walk in. The waiter makes your drinks and knows his way around a bar, but this time, I opted for a cappuccino. I ordered the eggs ranchero which were not only delicious, but beautifully presented. Everything that I have tasted has been delectable and doesn’t disappoint. Great place if you are by yourself or with a few people. Before you know it, you’ll be chatting with the tables around you and having a good old time. Thanks Alvin for the great service. Will definitely be back for dinner and a cocktail.

Late review, but I came here almost 2 weeks ago with a large party of 5. When we arrived the restaurant was quiet and the vibe was intimate, which was great as my group loves to chat and enjoy each others company. The server was a very kind young man, who worked hard to make sure we were properly served and was patient enough to answer our questions. He made our experience so much more pleasant. The food was great, I had a burger with a side of truffle fries. Everyone in my party was very pleased with their food orders, which was fantastic as we had had a long morning, so being able to have delicious food was the highlight of the day. The owner came up to make sure everything was to our liking, which waa very kind of him. We sang our praises about our experience. If you enjoy great food and a more relaxing, intimate vibe where you and a few friends can partake in conversation over a bite to eat and maybe a few drinks, Tinto is a spot I would recommend. Would definitely go again. 😁

Google
Definitely one of the best restaurants in the neighborhood. Not only was everything delicious, but the food and drinks were also reasonably priced relative to other places. They also made a wonderful grilled chicken and pasta dish for our seven year-old despite not having a children’s menu. This was our third time to the restaurant and it certainly won’t be our last!

We had a lovely dinner at Tinto. The atmosphere was cozy, cocktails and food were outstanding (we had the specials and ordered from the regular menu, all if it was delightful), and the service was exceptional, with wonderful recommendations on items to order, timing, wine pairings, etc. The staff went above and beyond. I will definitely be eating here again next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
10/10: the paella was great and I would order it again but when I go back I will be ordering nothing but multiple orders of the mussels. They were amazing! As far as drinks go: the Tinto sour was delicious. Advice: it is very small with only 11 tables "only 3 without reservations" they also have limited hours so plan ahead. Ernesto was great: very attentive, kind, and welcoming. Glad to have this tapas bar in the heights!

Yelp
I recently came to this new tapas spot for an afternoon tea with a friend. I didnt have any food, but it's worth noting that he picked the spot for their almond cake, which he had on another occasion and is apparently to die for (I saw it and it did look quite yummy). The restaurant itself is pretty small/ intimate. I thought the service was good generally, though I thought the waiter was a little rude to me at times for whatever reason.

Yelp
We absolutely loved every part of our dinner at Tinto. The food was amazing - we had the tuna tartare and I will order it again every time. Tinto has an amazing combination of classic Spanish and Latin cuisine that takes flavor to the next level. Even more impressive was that our waiter Ernesto overheard it was our anniversary - put a "Happy Anniversary" chocolate on our dessert - and brought over a champagne toast! Talk about service! The ambiance is also amazing!

Yelp
This place was soo adorable& amazing! It was a small dining room but very elegant design. The waiter was really friendly and gave great suggestions. And the food! It was delicious. We had several dishes, including the shrimp with garlic bread, octopus, seafood empanadas, burrata, and a special dish of mushrooms stuffed with crab meat. Each dish had very sophisticated flavors and was presented nicely. I think this is an awesome and classy addition to the neighborhood!

Yelp
Great new neighborhood spot. Such a pretty place , with tasteful appropriate quiet music. Top- rate service. Salmon tartare and special frittata out of this world. Crema Catalan dessert really special. Good wine pour. We will be back.

Yelp
This cute little space has been the home of several restaurant attempts over the last years. Tinto has finally hit. The food is inventive and delicious. The service is pleasant and knowledgeable. The ambience is cozy and not overly loud. The wines are fine and pair well with the Spanish influenced, but international, cuisine.

Yelp
Service is awful - made reservation but they didn't honor when we turned up - they were totally rude and I accommodating

Yelp
The brunch dish was delicious, made with quality ingredients. The service was attentive, if a little patronizing. Ambiance is quite mod. Their menu is designed to up the price. What tapas restaurant doesn't have olives and manchego on the menu? The wine pour was very light.

Yelp
I love this small, elegant, welcoming restaurant. Good selection of tapas and entrees and a lovely wine list. The food is very well prepared and delicious (and well-priced), and the service is gracious and friendly. Very happy to have this place in our neighborhood.
