Love this place! I'm a longtime Durham resident and yet I'd never been in here until this past weekend. I was in a bit of a hurry and looking for a birthday-related book for a child. I didn't get her name, but a staff member with curly gray hair was SO kind and helpful in my search! She went all over the store looking for birthday related items and came back with the one I ended up purchasing (side note: the child LOVED it!). I am an occupational therapist with a background in pediatrics and the types of toys in this store are all ones that are excellent for cognitive, fine/gross motor, and social-emotional development! There is nary a screen-based toy in sight and all of the books, toys, and items here appear to be carefully selected to foster creative play for kids of all ages. They also have very cute (if a bit pricy) clothing from Magnetic Me in sizes up to 5T. All told, this is an amazing local gem that you'd be remiss not to visit!

Went there with my wife and 10-month old daughter in search of books and toys. While the majority of the toys we came across she wasn’t ready for as of yet, Rene was very helpful in suggesting books for us! This place is the best and as my daughter gets older, I look forward to continue to shop there!

Our go to shop for children's gifts and the absolute best children's store by far. Great selection of books, toys, clothes for such a tiny shop!

I’ve visited Tiny twice for baby gifts for friends, both times during the pandemic. Not only did I feel incredibly safe (private shopping appointment, masked employee, sanitizer, etc), but both staff members I encountered were super friendly and helpful in helping me select the items I purchased. And most importantly, my friends LOVED the gifts and so did their little ones. So many cute clothes, toys, and books to choose from. Can’t recommend Tiny enough!

Cute store. I was excited to support local. However, when I asked about kites they recommended Target or Amazon and they don't accept returns. It would have been nice to get a warning about that but the only place it's written is on your receipt - which you only see after you have already paid....

Great selection of gifts for younger kids (but some selection for the 8-10ish crowd as well). Staff are enthusiastic and warm, and offered us great recommendations!

Cute store that's fun to browse. Lots of toys for all ages with friendly staff who are happy to help you find the perfect gift.

The best place for finding unique children's gifts. They have the cutest stuff and the staff is really helpful.
