Tiong Bahru Bakery

Tiong Bahru Bakery is a great stop for fresh pastries and a relaxed breakfast. The croissants are excellent here: buttery, flaky and baked perfectly. I especially loved the seasonal flavours like the lychee-strawberry rose croissant, which looks beautiful and tastes just as good. The almond croissant is also a must-try, very crisp on the outside and soft inside. The coffee is smooth and well made, and the outdoor seating area has a really calm, green atmosphere. It is a nice place to sit for a while, enjoy your pastry and take a break. Service is quick even when it gets busy, and everything feels freshly prepared. If you love pastries, this is one of the most reliable and enjoyable bakeries in Singapore.

I stayed at a hotel near Fort Canning Park, and whenever I had the chance, I loved taking a walk through the park to recharge with some nature energy. That’s when I unexpectedly discovered this little bakery tucked away in the corner of the park, such a gem! I absolutely love the atmosphere here. The warm tones mixed with the greenery in the background made me feel so calm and healed. Their Christmas decorations were hand-drawn illustrations, unique, simple and very cute. I also really like how they display their pastries. While you’re queuing, you can easily see everything and pick what you want. I tried the Almond Croissant, Hazelnut Mousse Log Cake, and Pear Danish. 💚Pear Danish — the winner for me! The freshness of the pear and the crispy pastry were a perfect match. 💚Almond Croissant — a classic; you can’t go wrong with it. 💚Hazelnut Mousse Log Cake — a bit too sweet and rich for my taste. The layers looked beautiful, but I couldn’t really distinguish them when eating. Overall, this is a bakery I would happily come back to again and again. The vibe is incredibly relaxing, and the pastry quality is excellent. If you’re nearby, definitely give it a try!

A very charming, swimming-themed outlet which occupies the location of the old River Valley Swimming Complex. This outlet also features an pet-friendly outdoor area where pets can chill while the owners have their meals and coffee. The food and coffee here is great. I have tried a variety of savory pastries (forgot some of their names) and they are delicious! Must have tried 6 different ones so far, and I probably like the croissant with mushrooms and brie best. Mocha is my choice of coffee. Great place to chill, eat, and drink coffee. Highly recommended.

Not your typical shopping mall TBB since it was nestled at the Foothills of Fort Canning. Chill vibes amidst lots of nature and it wasn't too crowded even on a Saturday afternoon :) The latte art was beautiful and the mocha and hot chocolate tasted really good. Love their pastries, beautiful plates and the strong air conditioning too. They also have a water dispenser so you can really spend an entire afternoon here after you are done with your drink! Service charge and GST are chargeable so it can be pretty pricey - however it's a nice treat for yourself once in a while!

Love the croissant selections. There were plenty of tables, you'll surely be able to find a spot. Also offers self-service water to hydrate (don't just drink coffee, have some water too!). It's not work friendly as there's no plug available. So come here to enjoy their pastry and drinks! Maybe chill after walking along Fort Canning Park.

Wow, 10/5. Incredible bakery and coffee/matcha. Staff were absolutely lovely and greeted us as soon as we walked in! It says as well, their croissants are baked fresh every 2 hours 😍 It was 10mins walk from our hotel so we had to check it out:)

Had a great experience here! The place has a nice, cozy atmosphere with friendly staff, and they offer a wide variety of pastries to choose from. I also bought their healthy juice, and it was incredibly fresh and refreshing. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Definitely worth a visit!

I recently visited this cafe in Fort Canning Foothills. I initially ordered a lemon tart, a hot latte and a fruit juice (dragon fruit, soursop and green apple). The lemon tart was one of the best I've ever had - deep delicious lemon flavour and great texture. Excellent coffee and really healthy tasting juice. Everything was so good that I added an almond croissant, which I ate warmed. The croissant was really good - flaky and soft with nice almond flavour. The service was also really friendly. A great place to visit in the Fort Canning area.
