Tip Top Shoes Kids

This morning we traveled from the east side to West 72nd Street to bring our grandson to buy his first pair of shoes IN a SHOE STORE! Our grandson has had hand me downs and shoes purchased on the internet but we felt it was important to get his feet measured and Peter, Tip Top Shoes master ( and very patient) salesman was wonderfully helpful. Our grandson loved the experience and didn’t want to leave the store. He discoved some great age appropriate books that his grandma read to him. The store has a wonderful selection of shoes, sneakers, boots and very cool slippers!

We came in looking for shoes for our one year old who is starting to walk. Jasmine was amazing. She measured him and made great recommendations, and kept him happy the whole time. Great experience.

Sold us defective shoes already falling apart after 2 weeks’ use but wouldn’t take them back. Guess we’ll be shopping at Zappos from now on.

We had the best experience here! So hard to find a shoe store where folks do anything more than just bring the size you ask for. Two people were working with my daughter to measure her, trying on multiple pairs of multiple shoes to find the perfect fit. Really went above and beyond. Thank you!

I went in looking for kids size 11 sneakers. I asked where to find them and the man working in the store pointed to a wall that is clearly labeled up to size 10.5. I asked again if this is where the size 11 shoes are, he said yes. My kid picked out a pair of Nikes. He brought out a different pair, saying they only had this pair in 10.5. He said 11 would be too big in Nikes and he didn’t have any other size 10.5s in Nikes. I had my kid pick out some Sketchers instead. Surprise, he didn’t have that in a size 11. He wouldn’t tell me which shoes they actually did have in an 11 and we just walked out after that. It shouldn’t be so difficult.
