Tipster Free Walking Tours of Austin

Had a great tour led by Laura learning all about historical landmarks and events around Austin! She pointed out things I would’ve never noticed on my own, and was super knowledgeable answering any questions the group had. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Austin and want to learn more about this historic city!

Walking Music tour in Austin was amazing! Laura was so knowledgeable and personable! She made sure to talk with each of us individually and highlighted spots along the way for everyone. Her Spotify playlists of Austin musicians was incredible and served as the backdrop to our entire weekend. We each found a new favorite artist to follow. Highly recommend!

We were in town back in February and Laura’s downtown music tour was definitely one of the highlights! It was a bit chilly but that did not matter! We got it done. Laura is passionate about music and the history of music in Austin. She was engaging, eloquent and even sang for us! In addition to knowing almost all there is know about live music venues and the distinct Austin neighborhoods, she has great vocals! Later that evening as she suggested we were able to get tickets at Parker Jazz Club and enjoyed drinks and live jazz music at this intimate venue. Highly recommend Laura’s tour!

Such a great tour with Laura! She shared so much amazing information and history of Austin! Totally worth the time especially if you do it at the beginning of your trip. She will give you some idea of things to do you may not have thought of!

You'll find lots of interesting information and stories from this tour, that you would not find from the guidebook nor Google maps. Definetly worth trying if you visit Austin!
