We had a very informative and interesting visit to the Tirpitz Museum. Even, the owner and curator of the museum, was very passionate in sharing information, explaining details and history to us; he even delayed his closing time by an hour to entertain our questions! We are very impressed by the quality of exhibits, documentary and descriptions provided in the museum, and would definitely recommend anyone, especially WWII history buffs, to come and visit.

Super interesting museum with tons of bits and bobs. I especially liked the 30 min documentary they show. They have a coffee machine where you can buy coffee. Not a lot of parking.

Very good little museum with a lot of relevant items and stories. Also there is a small cinema to watch a documentary about the several attempts to sink the ship.

The museum is small. It has a very large range of relics belonging to Tirpitz. Along with other artifacts from WW2. There is a movie showing the entire ship process. From launching into the sea to the stages that lead to its sinking. I believe the content is well presented and in chronological order. Entry cost around €10 and was worth every penny. Highly recommended visit.

Tiny little museum stuffed with history of time around WWII. Nice cinema room to watch a 28 min documentary about Tirpitz. Ticket 120 NOK or combo ticket incl. Alta museum for 220 NOK.

Visited as part of an organised cruise tour so not exactly sure of its opening hours. If you have an interest then it is definitely worth a visit. Not to far from the area Tirpitz was anchored.
