The young waiters and mz waitresses are very friendly and attentive. They seem to put so much effort into serving their customers that it feels like they're part of the owner's family. They don't force tips, so I skipped the tip setting screen and said I'd give 10 percent. Since I'm traveling and want to try everything, I only ordered a small amount, but the oven-baked sardines were delicious. You can pay by card or cash. Tips are set up on the card screen, and if you pay by cash, there's a tip box at the reception. It would be nice if they also had oven-baked eggplant. Anyway, the oven-baked sardines would go well with rice, seaweed, and korean shredded squid. Since there was no rice seaweed or korean shredded squid, (when you do buy to go)I just ate whatever was served. In my opinion, this place is currently the best. chigojonum Try it on its own to see if Greek lemon is good, and try it with a squeeze of lemon. The taste is completely different. It's like adding radish to soup with clear radish and finishing it off with radish.

We came here on an Athens walking food tour. It is a very busy, popular bustling place. The eggplant and vegetables was my favourite dish and the broad beans. Calamari was also good. Def visit if you are in the area

Great food with affordable prices, the place was packed with locals which means it serves very good quality. I went there 3 times during my 7 days stay in Athens, tried as much as I could. They are also very welcoming and attentive to the client's needs. This is for me a true Athenian experience.

What a find this place was! It was bustling and there were a lot of locals yet the service was really good. If you are looking to try some Greek Tapas (small plates), I definitely recommend this place. I got the Marinated Anchovies, Octopus in Vinegar and Fava (Split Peas). Everything tasted and I can't wait to rgo back and try the other items.

Tasty local food for a very affordable price. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful (except the mashed potatoes with garlic—these tasted stale and had so much garlic we could not eat them). Highly recommend the giant beans in tomato sauce, the chickpea salad, and the Greek salad. The black eyed pea salad has more raw onions than beans, so depends if that’s your cup of tea. Service was very friendly and food came out almost immediately upon ordering, so it was perfect on a day that we were short on time for lunch. Portions are bigger than expected, so 6 salads/mezze for 2 people were overkill. 2 plates to share per person is probably a better ratio.

Two of us had the first meal of our trip to Athens, here and what a way to start. When we sat down, they told us that the fish and meat items weren't ready yet, it was 9.30am. We ordered, 1. Cucumber, Tomato Salad 2. Bread 3. Spicy Feta Cheese spread 4. Giant Beans cooked in the oven 5. Zucchini Balls(served with Tzatziki) - My favourite dish 6. Freshly squeezed Orange Juice What a feast! Portions are quite big and each plate can be shared by 3-4 if you want to try more than 4 dishes. The food's simple, delicious and so affordable. We wanted to eat more, but were too full and skipped having lunch after. We'll just have to go back tomorrow for some Orzo, Stuffed vegetables and Mussels. We were back 2 days later with our food tour for the last big meal and tried many other things we hadn't tried before, including 1. Greek Coffee 2. Deep Fried Feta 3. Horta 4. Anchovies 5. Chickpeas 6. Feta Stuffed Peppers and so many more things I can't even remember. Everything was equally enjoyable. I think many people confuse this restaurant's name to be Soul, no thanks to the many Youtube videos by vlogers too. I wish businesses, especially thse in tourist areas and those who depend on tourist business would put up signs in English. Them not doing so hurts them more than the tourist who is here just for a few days. For instance, there are so many reviews for this place on the Soul Athens Google Business Page.

I started my day here with a great cup of coffee, followed by some delicious food, and ended it with the most amazing orange juice. Everything was fresh, tasty, and served with a smile. Highly recommend this place! Special thanks to alex and all grils
