"More than 250 artifacts of theRMS Titanic are on displayat this 25,000-square-foot space attheLuxor. Among the truly incredible mementos excavated from the wreck of the sunken ship: anunopened bottle of champagne, a floor tile, a window frame, and a giant piece of the ship’s hull. Perhaps more impressive than the artifacts themselves are the full-scale re-creations of what guest quarters looked like on the ship—attending the exhibit gives you a sense of the difference in the experiences of a first-class passenger and a third-class passenger. Since it opened in the late 1990s, the exhibit has been seenbymore than 25 million people, which makes it one of the most popular attractions in Las Vegas history."

Our third visit. Sobering, but so interesting. Having in you hand the boarding pass of a real person who boarded the Titanic brings a realism to the experience. It's more than just looking at artifacts. It's interactive, giving you the feel of sitting on the deck at night, how cold the ice was, and feeling the stories of those who lived and died. The artifacts are real, not replicas. The "Big Piece" is fascinating. Definitely worth the visit. This time we stood on the Grand Staircase with friends. Photos are reasonably priced. They have a great gift shop you can access without going through the exhibit. Our first visit in 2018 took us 3 hours to go through and you couldn't take photos.

After visiting other Titanic exhibits this one is worth a look. Receiving the ticket of an actual passenger is a nice touch. The actual piece of the side of the ship is also cool. Make sure you check the date of your passenger at the end of your tour.

After several years of anticipation, I finally visited this destination, and the experience was truly remarkable. As someone with some knowledge of the Titanic’s demise, I found this visit to be both beautiful and unique. The varying decks, offering panoramic views from first to third class, were awe-inspiring. Notably, the experience of strolling along the outer deck at night, surrounded by the the stars, was unforgettable. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an exceptional and educational experience.

This place is exceptional. I visited the Titanic museum in Belfast not long before, and I thought I should visit this one to compare, as the one in Belfast was a huge disappointment. So this review is going to be based on comparison with the Belfast one. First was the price, cheaper than the Belfast one, but here you can go at anytime you wish on the day you booked. In Belfast you have to be there at a certain time. The museum staff was very friendly, they give you a short briefing about taking pictures and all that. The girls must have had repeated that briefing a thousand times before she gave it to me that day, but she was very clear and she had a genuine smile on her face for the whole briefing. In Belfast…we’ll, there was a few nice members of the staff but a couple of grumpy ones made the experience negative with their yelling and eyes rolling and facial expressions and body language that was totally unwelcoming. The museum is amazing, I really have no words, it really immerse you in the experience like if you were on the ship. You see exact replicas of the cabins, the dec, the staircase ( and what an amazing setting the staircase is). Everything is so well explained and easy to follow, even if the room is busy you still can check the displays and read the explanations. Then you go to the part of the shipwreck, and this is amazingly fantastic, get ready to enjoy the experience, it really feels like if you are underwater right in front of the wreckage. And then, when you think it can’t get better…the big piece. I have no words to describe how impressive it was. That is as close as you can get to the Titanic and to the night of the disaster. The big piece is displayed in a way that makes you feel like if you are in front of the most amazing piece of art or architecture or history you can ever see. Then in the gift shop you can find the most original memorabilia at good prices. To finish, I highly recommend to visit it, even I will go back to enjoy it again. Check my review about the titanic museum in Belfast and you’ll see that this one is so much better

Google
Educational fun tour. Self guided, phone offered for an additional 5 dollars - not worth the money. Didn’t give you information that you couldn’t read yourself on the walls. Pretty cool artifacts. Overall great experience.

It was an awesome exhibition. I wish there was more lighting around the darker areas. Recommend it!

Google
a must-do for any big fans of the titanic. starting off, you take a picture on the boat, doing the most iconic pose. then, the staff gives you a pamphlet of a passenger on the boat, and at the end of the tour, you can see if your person actually survived the titanic or not. there is even an actual piece of the boat and a freezing iceberg you can touch!

If you like history or the film, you will enjoy this exhibit. They actually acquired real artifacts from the actual Titanic for display.

Yelp
I recently visited the Titanic exhibit for the first time, and I'm so glad I did. The experience was both educational and, at times, quite emotional as I delved into the details of the events that unfolded on the night the ship sank. It was fascinating to see so many artifacts from the actual ship, though it felt a bit eerie at moments. I was shocked to learn how pricey the ship tickets were back in the day--especially for third-class passengers, whose experience was considered so low-level despite the high cost. Hearing the stories of the people on board was heart-wrenching, but I'm grateful I had the opportunity to experience this exhibit. My only drawback was that some of the text on the walls was difficult to read, either because the font was too small or the lighting was too dim. This sometimes made it challenging to see clearly unless you were right next to the sign, which was tough when the space was crowded with other visitors trying to read too. I did feel a bit rushed at certain points near the artifacts since I didn't want to hold up the line, but I wish I could have taken more time to absorb everything fully. I truly believe everyone should visit the Titanic exhibit at least once; it's a strong reminder of a tragic event that's hard to fathom.

Yelp
Interesting historical experience nestled in Luxor Hotel in Vegas! As someone who's super interested in all things Titanic, we decided to stop for a visit. Exhibit took ~2 hours total if you read most/all of the placards. Pros: - loved the different placards depicting the backgrounds of various passengers to get a more intimate view into their lives - I like that the exhibits are in chronological order! - this exhibition houses "the big piece", a huge portion of the titanic that was recovered - cool artifacts in various states of preservation - interesting details about the recovery/restoration process Cons: - for the price ($43/pp), we were expecting something a bit longer/more interactive (eg more sound effects, more room displays ). - we found it weird that you couldn't take pics of/approach the grand staircase (it's a paid photo ops). But after all it is Vegas

Yelp
I recently visited the Titanic Museum, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The museum is packed with an incredible artifacts, giving you a real sense of what life was like on the ship. The entry fee was quite reasonable for the amount of history on display, and it's very easy to access, located inside Luxor Hotel and Casino, next to the food court. You have the option of choosing between a self-guided read-and-see tour or a self-guided audio tour. When you first enter, you're given a card with the identity of a Titanic passenger, and at the end of the tour, you find out whether your character survived the wreck. It's a unique and engaging touch. Despite the museum being fairly busy, it wasn't overly crowded, so you can still take your time to read the information and truly absorb everything on display. There's a lot to see, so I'd recommend allowing yourself time to explore. The museum also has tour guides walking through the exhibits to answer questions, which is a nice added touch for anyone looking to dive deeper into the history. Overall, it's an informative museum that I highly recommend to anyone in the area! Locals or visitors!

Yelp
Interesting to relive and learn about all the artifacts found ! Realistic and cool. Good education about how traveling was back then with first, second and third class. Story has a sad ending but nice to learn about the people who survived. Come check it out !!

Yelp
I felt like Rose DeWitt Bukater, but on a Jack Dawson budget. Informative, detailed, interactive, and highly emotional. It was a fascinating attraction amid the glamour of the Vegas Strip. A little short, but worth the ticket. Cue Celine Dion.
google avatar

Cassidy I.

Yelp
First, you wait to get tickets. Then, you wait in line to get into the exhibit. You can get a discounted combo ticket at either box office on the second floor of Luxor. It took about 45 minutes to complete this exhibit and there is a lot of reading, all in English. They offer audio guides for an additional fee in other languages. The displays follow a roughly chronological sequence, starting with the building of the ship, then life on the ship, then the sinking of the ship. There are some impressive displays including an illusion of being on the deck at night, the iceberg itself, and the grand staircase. The rooms are built so you can't see what's coming up and the reveal is dramatic. There's some poorly acted skits on tvs displayed throughout the exhibit. It would be a lot more immersive without these looping every minute or so. Overall, I'd recommend this exhibit over Bodies (also located at the Luxor as of 6/1/24).

Yelp
This was such an interesting exhibit to visit with our family. There were a ton of exhibits to see, things to learn about and even fun for the kids. If you're interested in the titanic and its history, it's definitely worth seeing. The recreation of the grand staircase was a sight to see!

Yelp
I'm *ONLY* taking away a star because of the " upsells." This exhibit in the Luxor is well worth seeing. The Luxor does charge for parking, but if you are military or a veteran, you can show your military ID/VA ID/DD 214 at the rewards desk, and get a "military rewards card" which gives you free parking at any MGM property on the strip. It definitely comes in handy. They also offer a military discount to get into the exhibit. There are three "upsells." When you first go in, you have the opportunity to buy a narration wand, where at certain stops along the exhibit, You can hear a narration about different aspects to the titanic story. The nice thing about this wand, is you can hear it explained toward an adult perspective, or if you have children with you, you can also get a perspective, more guided toward children. I would say that the wand is worth it. The other two upsells are photo opportunities. First when you go in, and also halfway through the exhibit at the grand staircase. You are prohibited from taking a photo of the staircase, the only option is paying $20 for a photo of yourself at the staircase. I'm sorry, I think that one is a bit of a moneygrab. When you first go in, you are given a "boarding pass" that lists the name of a titanic passenger. As you go through the exhibit, you start with the design and the building of the ship, and then you go through exhibits that talk about life on the ship, and then you go on to the sinking, and later discovery of the wreck. There are lots of photos, and Artifacts from the ship during the exhibit. At the end, you have your boarding pass, scanned to find out what happened to your passenger. I had a gentleman from Ireland, he was traveling with his brother, and sadly, neither of them made it. That actually made me a little bit emotional. It was like I had a personal tie to the person. They do the same thing at the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC. Even with the upsells, the museum is absolutely 1000% worth seeing. The stories and the artifacts are just fascinating.

Yelp
I would not recommend this self-guided tour. If you enjoy all things Titanic you will not be impressed. As you check-in you an employee will explain some rules and no-nos. You will be given a replica passenger ticket at the end of the tour you scan your ticket to see if the passenger survived the night. There is a cheesy photo opportunity for you before you start the tour you are more than welcome to decline (which we did). The concept is interesting but the layout and organization is a mess. In some rooms there are videos playing on a screen which make it hard for you to watch without being in someone's way who is entering the room. I also think there were a lot of missed opportunities when it came to presenting the artifacts and the general flow of the tour. The only memorable thing about this tour was the small iceberg that you can touch. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend going.

Tina M.

Yelp
Very cool! And fun, i loved how friendly The customer service was and helpful. And it was absolutely amazing to see all of the incredible objects that survived. It was breathtaking. Located upstairs at the Luxor casino. It was a little expensive, it was like $185 for 2 kids and 2 adults. Tip, go early because they close at 7 pm

Yelp
This place was just as cool as when I went as a teenager. It is literally timeless. I'm glad we picked this place to visit. It was good to refresh my memory. It's very surreal, educational and sad. Would definitely go back and this is a fun thing to take your children to if you're some weirdo that takes your child with you to Vegas hahah.

Yelp
I CAME TO VEGAS WITH MY MOM TO SEE BRUNO MARS AND WE HAD TIME TO KILL SO WE WENT TO MANDALAY BAY AND DECIDED TO WALK THROUGH TO LUXOR AS WELL. WE NOTICED TWO EXHIBITS THE TITANIC AND THE BODIES EXHIBIT. WE OPTED FOR THE TITANIC EXHIBIT. You take pictures in front of a green screen before you start your journey into the exhibit. They give you a card that displays the name of a passenger that was aboard the ship. It shows you what class they belonged to and some personal facts about them. At the end there is a wall with the names of people who survived and were saved and some that were lost at sea. You get to search the wall for your person to see how their journey ended. The exhibits take you through each class so that you could immerse yourself into peoples experiences on board before and after the iceberg hit. They had so many artifacts from different levels of the ship. From ropes that were on the deck, to silverware and plates. Different cabin levels had different amenities.

Yelp
We had a lot of fun at the titanic museum. My daughter especially liked the deck and the iceberg. She could have stayed all day.

Yelp
It's a fun experience if you're a titanic fan. If not, then there's not much to see. It was really cool to see some of the items they recovered and there was even a piece of the ship! We really wanted to do the staircase photo. So you can't take your own pictures in that space. The photographer we got wasn't very good. He didn't let us see the pictures taken even though we were the only ones who wanted to do the photos at the time. But the gift shop people let us go back to take more. I wanted a few pictures on my phone after purchasing from them but they still didn't allow it. The price for 1 printed photo is $20 then $5 for each email copy. They won't just sell you the digital copies unless you buy the usb package for $45 which is a good deal if you planned to buy at least 2 photos, that package includes digital copies of all photos taken including the green screen ones.

Yelp
Pretty expensive admission fee for a very small exhibit. I was excited to go during my trip to Las Vegas. It would be worth going if tickets were $10 a person. Only cool thing there was the boat room where you can see the "stars."
google avatar

Heather H.

Yelp
Highly recommended. And give yourself time to go slowly. 2 hours and you won't feel rushed. Quite well done, beautiful, and moving.

Yelp
I enjoyed visiting this exhibit! I am fascinated with Titanic's history, so was excited to visit this exhibit while in Vegas. I was able to purchase tickets in person the day-of. It was the day before Memorial Day, so there was quite a bit of a line to go in. It amazes me that 100+ years after the Titanic sank, that's there's still such interest in the topic. I enjoyed seeing artifacts, as well as cabin recreations. The best part, in my opinion, was seeing the Big Piece (a very large section of the Titanic) in person. I docked a star because I felt some objects/items were misplaced. As you can see in my one photo, there was a large cooking pot next to a model of the sunken Titanic. A few things just felt a little out-of-place. Note that there is a lot of reading, but also some videos and plenty of visuals. Thank you to those maintain this important part of history!

Yelp
We finally decided to go check out this exhibit after it be been open for a while. I've always wanted to go, but never found the time, and now that my kids are older, they have a fascination with the titanic as well. It was a great exhibit and you can easily spend a couple hours in there, just looking around and reading the different facts and looking at the different artifacts. The only thing I wish would have been different is being able to take our own pictures at the grand staircase and not having to purchase it through them which was quite expensive for one photo.
google avatar

Dorie B.

Yelp
This was a fantastic experience. I've loved reading about the Titanic since I was a kid so it was special to see the artifacts I had only ever seen in pictures. The way everything is presented takes you through the timeline of events. There is so much to soak in and appreciate. You are given a ticket of an actual passenger on the Titanic and can read about them at the end of the journey to see if they survived or not. This experience is beautifully curated. 100% worth the time and money.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
This is my second time visiting here. I came once around the time it first opened so I did not remember a lot of details 15 years later, almost like seeing it again for the first time. This time I was with my grown children who have watched Jack and Rose with me numerous times during their childhood, and it was fascinating to watch them look at it all in person for their first time. My only knock down there were too many people on our tail as we walked through. We wanted to take our time and read everything but felt rushed or in the way of others who walked through so fast I wondered why would anyone pay to not even read the facts about what you are looking at. At the end you pop out into the gift shop which had some cool stuff, but the two guys working in there were not friendly at all. I was going to buy some stuff but with their attitudes I said never mind. Overall if the history of the Titanic is something that interests you, this is a wonderful exhibit. It's not the dead who will get on your nerves, just the living.
google avatar

Rob M.

Yelp
This was the second exhibit my son and I checked out during our stay at the Luxor. We almost didn't get tickets to this, but decided to as part of a dual price with the Bodies exhibit. Glad we did, both exhibits were great. The stories of how/why passengers happened aboard the Titanic are interesting and sad. Lots of cool artifacts, but we both thought the best rooms were the iceberg room and the final room displaying the largest piece of the ship ever recovered. Neither of us expected to see that, it made the exhibit! Worth the price of admission, lots of great history and knowledge gained from this exhibit!
google avatar

Jeff W.

Yelp
I have been wanting to go since the exhibition came to Las Vegas. I finally did so, and it was a great experience, I am very glad I took the time. The price for locals was reasonable, but, I would have given 5 stars, if not for the fact at the beginning they take your photo, and halfway through you see the full scale reproduction of the "Grand Staircase" You were forbidden to take photos there, and of course they had a whole set up to take your pictures on the stair case. You could easily spend $100.00 on photos. The pay for your photo schtick, kind of ruins a very well done exhibit. I did enjoy it immensely though, and do recommend it.
google avatar

Yelp
I love to see all the history and facts around the titanic. This exbit was so awesome. Start out getting a boarding pass of someone that was on the ship. Then, out of the end, you find out if your person made it or not. They had a lot of amazing artifacts, including a piece of the actual ship! All the write ups were really good, I learned a lot more information that I didn't know. There is a point where you can sit and watch a video of the titanic underwater. We went on a Wednesday and it wasn't busy at all, this was for sure worth the money. There are two spots they take your photo and I did end up buying one.

Yelp
I have always been attracted to the tragic story of the Titanic. It's people, the ship and the aftermath. This exhibit tells her story extremely well, with authentic artifacts and a LOT of knowledge. From recreative videos of people on the ship, to life sized models of cabins, to detailed descriptions of items found in the shipwreck and the people they belonged too. Just an amazing up close look at Titanic There is a scaled down model of what the ship looked like when they found her on the ocean floor, and even more exciting an actual HUGE piece of her hull. This is an emotional journey through the short history of the Titanic and people who experienced one of the most talked about tragedies of history. Her historic end, has created maritime laws that are still followed to this day. I will definitely be going back through this exhibit and get even more detailed information. Pictures are allowed through 99% of the exhibit, videos are not allowed.

Linda R.

Yelp
The Titanic exhibition is located in the Luxor and a wonderful exhibit. Tickets are purchased in the box office and not at the exhibit itself. Before going into the exhibit, there is a cheesy professional photo op, but Hubby and I chose to skip this and go straight into the exhibit. There is a 1:1 replica of the Grand Staircase in the middle of the exhibit. Visitors are prohibited from taking pictures because there is a professional photographer selling photographs. These two photo ops for cash put the cheesy cheap on this exhibit. There are so many artifacts and stories about individuals on the Titanic. The replicas of the rooms and promenade made the ship come to life. the actual hull of the ship was interesting. We were given cards of individuals on the ship. At the end of the exhibit, there is a wall of the survivors and those who were tragically lost. We loved the personalization and to actually know a passenger. Definitely worth a visit!
google avatar

Lilly P.

Yelp
I first want to acknowledge the staff for doing such an amazing job putting this exquisite exhibit together. We only anticipated seeing the artifacts and information about the Titanic. I personally love antiques and learning about the Edwardian and Victorian era. So, this was right down my alley. We learned so much about the passengers. One would think by only watching the movie 'Titanic' will suffice and understanding the depths of this tragedy. That is not the case. The exhibits provided details and portrayed the essence of its time and moments leading to the catastrophe. Usually I'm not a big fan of exhibits. It's hard to find one that keeps me engulfed. I'm glad I went. The creator and team did a spectacular job.

Angel H.

Yelp
The whole tour was amazing! I could really visualize being there on the ship. The part where you step "outside" and see the ocean at night was scary and interesting at the same time. I love going here and can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Fantastic exhibit to see! As a history fanatic and a fan of the Titanic movie and owning the making of the film art book, this was a test for my mom and I to visit. When you "board," you're given the "boarding pass" of a real passenger of the ship. The exhibit takes you through the history of the ship, and the background behind various passengers' lives. For instance, many people were on the ship for immigration, for new jobs, to see family, or to celebrate a special occasion on a luxury ship, much like travelers today too. We walked through the third class decks of the ship, which included shared bathrooms for multiple families who were on scheduled shifts per week when they could bathe, and tiny crowded bunk beds. Surprisingly, it was better than the lives they left before boarding the ship. As we moved upwards to the second deck, the difference in comforts was very large, with better food, accommodations, and activities. And of course, first class had the best of the best accommodations, including a gym! I know some of the other reviews hate the videos, but even with the cheesy acting and the actors sounding too modern, I appreciated the videos giving insight to the lives of the passengers aboard the Titanic. It was like giving a voice to the passengers' experiences. It was educational to learn that the tragedy of the Titanic's fate came down to over-confidence of the staff. What stood out to me was how preventable the sinking was. The operator who relayed telegrams to passengers sent from families and friends (the equivalent of today's messenger apps and DMs) snapped at the urgent messages being sent in, "Shut up, I'm too busy." The crew that were tasked to be on watchout duty for the iceburg were not given binoculars nor property equipment to look ahead and warn the crew with sufficient time. The captain was at a party being toasted to and celebrating the successful voyage of the Titanic, pretty much jinxing the Titanic's fate. When the damage was assessed, the Titanic COULD have made it to its destination if 2-4 layers of the ship had been damaged, but because the damage went deeper than that, the Titanic was doomed. The bulk of the people who survived were women and children from the first class, deprioritizing second class and third class passengers to die not from drowning in the Atlantic, but from freezing to death. A huge lesson learned for the future of travel, enduring to modern day. The videos of the Titanic expeditions to recover artefacts were fascinating to watch, especially when the artefacts, such as dishes and clothing, are presented and preserved in glass cases in the Luxor. The Titanic itself is too fragile to bring back to the surface, but seeing the fragment of the hull standing before us in the final room before going into the gift shop was awe-inspiring. Definitely recommend this exhibit for anyone who's a fan of the Titanic movie and history!

Robert D.

Yelp
If you're interested in this kind of thing, then this is for you. Genuine artifact brought up from the titanic many tragic stories and an actual portion of the ship for you to View.

Yelp
This museum was interesting for adults. There's a lot of reading involved but the museum was also extremely visual. From the sets to the pieces they had on display. I definitely enjoyed it.
google avatar

Alexandra B.

Yelp
I enjoyed my visit to the Titanic exhibition. It was entertaining and well done. However, I wished it had been longer and that it had more articles to see. I I was still able to learn more about the titanic and about the types of passengers who would embark in such a journey and some examples of their personal stories. It was an engaging in exhibition, even if you are not a titanic fan.
google avatar

Michael J.

Yelp
Incredible exhibition museum located inside the Luxor Casino, Hotel, and Resort on the Mezzanine level near the Food Court and other show and attraction venues. I spent about an hour and a half walking through the exhibits. Of course I already knew the whole story, but this really personalized the story because you get to see personal items that belonged to the passengers dating to 1912. You get to see how these people lived and experienced. This is a top notch museum! It is so expertly put together. Truly impressive and must see. I enjoyed a $5 discount with my MGM Rewards account. They also offer an extra audio option for an additional charge, though I didn't and don't think it was necessary.

Yelp
Date of visit: 8/20/22 I had visited this exhibit once before in Vegas as well as once when the traveling version came to the Milwaukee Public Museum. My mom was very interested in the exhibit as she hadn't seen it and we scored a coupon from a guy on the street before entering Luxor, so we didn't have to pay full price. Some of the things I did remember from before, such as the dishes that were laid out almost perfectly on the ocean floor, as well as the whole boarding pass situation at the beginning. But other things did seem new to me, which I appreciated. The hokey "reenactments" of some of the people that designed, built, or traveled on the ship sprinkled throughout the exhibit are embarassing and I wish they would have just secured the rights to the film and played scenes from the movie instead. Nothing against the actors, it just has poor production value and doesn't end up adding anything to the experience. The terminals at the end of the tour that allow you to scan your boarding pass is a nice touch, adding some background that wasn't available previously. I still think this is a bit pricy for how long it's been a Luxor, but Mom really enjoyed it and that's important.
google avatar

Kim D.

Yelp
If you love the Titanic, this is definitely a cool exhibit to check out while you're on the strip. It's located inside of Luxor and tickets are currently $35/ea (or $45 if you want to do both the Titanic and the Bodies exhibit). Audio tours are also available for an extra $5. You're able to take as long as you want in the exhibit, and we ended up strolling through it for about an hour. Essentially, you move from room to room looking through various artifacts that were recovered from the Titanic. They even had a large piece of the hull on display in one of the rooms. Photos are allowed (except with flash). I wish it was a bit more interactive, but nonetheless, it was very educational and worth seeing while we were out there.
google avatar

Janeth M.

Yelp
Had a great time going back in time. It was definitely an emotional and educational exhibition. The stories that were shared along with the artifacts were wonderful. Amazing to see how much was saved and how many stories they had to share. The grand staircase was glorious. This is where they get you because the only photos you can take with you are the ones you purchase. Overall, I highly recommend checking it out.

Yelp
A fantastic exhibit located inside the Luxor hotel and casino. It's a self guided tour with some audio and video parts to the exhibit. I believe our tickets might have been around $35 -$40, they're might be a small discount if you're a member of the M-Life/ MGM rewards program and you also get rewards points if you buy tickets to the exhibit. Reading some of the older reviews it seems like they've changed their policy with taking photos, minus a few section where they have a station for professional photography we got to take a lot of pictures inside. I didn't post a lot here on Yelp because I didn't want to spoil the experience. Overall there's a lot of interesting stuff with found out about the titanic, with so many options for shows and exhibits in Vegas this is one I absolutely recommend, especially for families looking for activities to do with the kids.

Yelp
My daughter wanted to visit a museum on Sunday. Since we haven't had a chance to visit the Titanic - The Artifact Exhibition before, we decided to get tickets and go to the Titanic - The Artifact Exhibition. You can order your tickets online, however, my family and I decided to buy the Combo Tickets, $42.00 which includes the Bodies exhibition as well. You can only purchase the Combo Tickets at the box office. It was pretty easy to get to the Titanic - The Artifact Exhibition. We parked at the parking lot at the Luxor and went up the escalator. There is a $12.00 fee for parking and it can be even higher if you're parking at the Luxor during an event. Both the Bodies and Titanic - The Artifact Exhibition are right next to each other. This exhibition is quite powerful. There are amazing stories of people that were on the Titanic. The Artifact Exhibition walks you through a the Titanic. You'll see artifacts such as plates, silverware, furniture, coins, clothing and artifacts recovered from the Titanic. During your visit, you'll peer into replications of cabins, decks, and much more. Towards the middle of the exhibition, you'll read the historical reference of what happened to the Titanic in 1912 and the laws that were changed/implemented. Laws were put in place that every ship would carry sufficient life boats to accommodate all passengers and crew members. The Maritime law was also changed with the Radio Act of 1912 which requires all sea vessels to have a 24-hour radio system in place to stay in contact with other ships on the water. There was also modifications to the boat paths to make sure they traverse warmer waters. After the Titanic - The Artifact Exhibition, there is a gift shop with souvenirs such as books, picture frames and other items. The Titanic - The Artifact Exhibition was extremely educational and I'd highly recommend this exhibit if you're visiting Las Vegas or if you're a local.

Yelp
I would say I am glad I finally visited the Titanic exhibit but would not do it again. There was some interesting history and artifacts that were recovered and a lot of interesting facts. No photos were allowed in The grand room. I had my kids age six, nine and eleven. I feel they should change the pricing for children 8 and under free. Instead of 0-3 free. We did the exhibit within an hour and at the end they had a small gift shop. My favorite part was the piece of the ship that they had on display. As well as at the end they had a wall of the passengers listed under who survived and who didn't. Each person gets a ticket of a real passenger who was on the ship and you get to learn cool facts about them and whether or not they lived or died.

Yelp
Absolutely moving and stunning exhibit. I have visited this exhibit several times. It never ceases to fully immerse me and move me. It's a part of history. A ship that was believed to be unsinkable. A rogue iceberg. 1500 people who lost their lives on a crossing of the atlantic. I highly recommend seeing the exhibit. I won't ruin it but I will tell you there's not authentic very large piece of the ship that you see. In addition to being able to touch an iceberg. And when you walk along the deck you actually believe you're on the Titanic.

Yelp
Intriguing and certainly fascinating. The layout of the exhibit is well planned. Interesting artifacts with well written descriptions. The life stories of the people onboard was captivating. You can purchase admission tickets online or at the box office in the casino. If you receive a military discount, purchase them in person at the box office.

Yelp
"True love never fades away. Nothing can take away the beautiful memory of love that once was..." Oh my heart. I've always been a Titanic fan even before the Hollywood version, it's just the history romantic in me, I guess. It's a sad story that resonates to this day because this epic tragedy could have been prevented. And this is the story of love that once was... I've always wanted to go to Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. Back when it was a traveling exhibition and the romanticized movie version was still fresh on our minds. However, time and life distractions have a funny way of playing with you... until finally I made it to this wonderful exhibit showing years later at the Luxor in Las Vegas. I just had to go! I was in Las Vegas to meet my sister and nieces so the timing was perfect. I invited my sister and nieces to join me, but they had previous plans to attend to, so I decided to board the ship for one. I mean even Leonardo DiCaprio would be proud of me for going solo. Tho I refused to be hidden in the lower decks. Yet, there's always hope for a Kate Winslet, right? Originally I planned to purchase tickets in advance (which I highly recommend), but because I didn't have a commitment yet from my sibling, I waited til the morning of. It was a Thursday and as I searched online to purchase a ticket all I saw was SOLD OUT! Ugh. Feeling a tad bit distraught I ended going to the official Luxor page and to my joy it was available at full price of $32. Which wasn't bad when compared to other events on the Vegas Strip! Titanic: The Artifact Exhibit in virtual hand - finally! I decided to show up the first hour because I had a busy Vegas day ahead and wanted to start my day here. After breakfast and coffee with sis (feeling like a last meal before tragedy struck...) I head to the Luxor. The exhibition is located on the 2nd level, where other events are showing too. Upon my arrival I am greeted with a line of mostly tourists. The line moves relatively fast considering how popular this exhibition is, even for a Thursday. Before you enter, a series of rules are stated by the greeter, each individually. You are then given a "boarding pass" with an actual name of a passenger of the Titanic of that faithful journey. Of course, I am COLONEL JOHN WEIR from Dundee Scotland, I later found out he was traveling solo, twice married, and amassed a fortune in his lifetime. A world traveler that lived "an interesting life". Um like me?! Lol! I enter with the spirit of COLONEL JOHN WEIR with me. We are also told that at the end of the exhibition that we can find out the faith of the person we're representing. Of course odds are against you as 1,500 souls lost their lives on that tragic night, with only a little over 700 survivors. Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, was filled with personal stories of the passengers. The history and facts of the so called "unsinkable ship", and many personal items from the passengers, as well as actual surviving artifacts from Titanic found 100+ years after being located deep in the North Atlantic Ocean. The stories of the immigrants traveling in 3rd class probably hit me the most. Poor families and wanderers, giving up everything, seeking a new life in America. The lone embellished Tea Cup has a story to tell. The children tugged at my heart heavily. And this is the true story of the Titanic. Walking into the Iceberg room gives you the chills, literally because the temperature drops lol, but it also gives you a sense of the last moments of many. "The Big Piece" room was fascinating to me because this is an actual piece salvaged from Titanic's starbird side hull - this piece is over 26-feet long! The haunting memories, the true love stories, the dreams that died in an instant and finally... the story of me, COLONEL JOHN WEIR... at the end of the exhibit I found out that I perished and was lost at sea, my body never found. Yet, the story goes I lived a marvelous life, up to that tragic night of 1912:( At the end of the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, a wonderful gift shop (American capitalism at its finest lol) is there for the browsing. Many items are exclusive to the gift shop and of course I couldn't resist. I ended purchasing a R.M.S. TITANIC 1912 beanie cap for myself, a replica of the infamous T.W. Solomon Brown pocket watch that I bought for my sis, and a couple of small knickknacks. I highly recommend Titanic: The Artifact Exhibit for those into history, the story of Titanic, and even the romanticized Movie version. Just note it's more educational than interactive, so young children might get bored, imho. In truth, Rose Dewitt & Jack Dawson were fictional characters, however after reading story after story of those that perished I could sense true Rose & Jack love stories aboard the Titanic... that tragic night when 1,500 souls lost their lives, including me, COLONEL JOHN WEIR, who's body was never seen again... May you all R.I.P.

Yelp
My husband and I finally came to see the exhibit and it was absolutely moving and incredible. The exhibit gives you a glimpse of what it was like at every class to be accommodated in the ship. The items that have been recovered are just amazing that they were preserved so well, you also get to feel and touch the cold of the iceberg. This is a must see, seeing the big piece of the titanic is one of the best parts along with the recreation of the grand staircase is stunning . I highly recommend the exhibit its sad to think of the people who lost their lives but also you feel what they must of felt , the hope and dreams being in that beautiful ship and trying to get to america.

Yelp
Such a cool experience! To walk through this exhibit is to know what it feels like even on a minimal level to have stepped on the ship itself. The artifacts are just amazing and leaves you wondering about a world that once was. Worth every cent.

Yelp
Really neat exhibit for this history nerd! Loved seeing all the stuff that was brought up, and recreated. The different passenger classes were a world of difference, in both price and amenities. The grand staircase is awesome, even if it is a tourist trap. Loved being able to get a little passport card to find out about a specific passenger along the way. Only thing I can say, is that now that I've seen it, probably won't need to do it again. One time is enough.

Yelp
Absolutely an amazing experience, they did an amazing job at immersing you despite being in a Vegas hotel. I would go back to do the audio tour. Definitely a must stop for Vegas.

Yelp
This exhibition is worth every penny and I highly recommend it. I cannot believe Vegas gets to have a random, very well thought out and curated attraction for the Titanic. Located on the Mezzanine level of the Luxor hotel, The Titanic Artifact Exhibition seeks to educate visitors on the Titanic. Everything from the production of the ship, the staff, the passengers, their lives before, during and after the sinking are covered. A really cool feature I enjoyed is upon entering, visitors receive a "ticket" with a real life passenger and their background information on it. Once you finish the entire museum, you get to see if the passenger you were given/assigned survived the sinking. There is a ton of artifacts throughout. There is a replica of the Grand Staircase, with an opportunity to take photos with it. There's multiple "interactive" rooms that provide some cool takes on what passengers may have experienced the night of the sinking. I love how in depth it is and how much thought and care the curators put into informing us on the sinking. The Big Piece is a really cool and it is awe inspiring to look at. If you have a military ID, I highly recommend picking up an MGM card to receive the special MGM military membership so you can use it for a small discount here. Tickets are available online, but also at the box office located right in front of the attraction.

Yelp
A not to be missed event. It displays life aboard the Titanic. I've been to the Titanic Museum in Belfast which shows the making of the Titanic. Both the museums are excellent.

Yelp
I remember when everybody thought they'd never find the Titanic, then they finally found it, but it seemed impossible to raise. Fast forward another 37 years and this exibit gave me the surreal experience of actually seeing parts of the ship and personal items from the Titanic. It drove home in a way that words on a page or scenes on a screen never can, the terrible loss of that day. Well worth a visit.
