Bali Reopening: Everything New to Do, From Wellness to Dining | Condé Nast Traveler

"Over in Ubud, mid-2020 arrival Titik Dua celebrates local crafts within a boxy, tropical modernism–inspired building by renowned Indonesian architect Andra Matin. The snug rooms feature hand-crafted furnishing and textiles by local artisans, and the hotel's coworking-friendly cafe and art gallery often host talks and exhibitions on Bali's burgeoning art scene."

I loved my stay at Titik Dua! Such beautiful caring staff who were highly attentive and responsive. And the hotel is visually stunning! The architecture is incredible, every vantage point is unique and the design lends itself to a very communal environment. Highly recommend this hotel! Will definitely come back!

This is the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The buildings frame the nature all around the hotel, and around every corner is something beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. The staff are incredible and the food was amazing. The hotel breakfast was so much more than I expected. 10/10 experience. I regret not staying for longer!

A tranquil hotel in the busy Ubud downtown. The hotel has a cool vibe with unique architecture. Room is a little bit small but it has everything you need. The pour over coffee in the room tastes good, and I really enjoy the Harman Kardon speaker in the room! The breakfast has a great selection too. Thank you for the hospitality!

The interior design of the Titic Dua Hotel is wonderful. Entering a modern and sophisticated building makes me feel great. All the staff members always respond with a warm smile and the service is very good. Thanks to the staff, I think my memories at the hotel will be remembered very well. Especially, fanny remembers my name and greets me brightly. She is the best employee who kindly responds to any inquiries. Breakfast and full-side bar food are all wonderful. I recommend this hotel.

This was my second stay at Titik Dua Ubud, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed, the staff here are truly exceptional. Every single person I encountered was friendly, humble, and incredibly helpful. There’s a genuine warmth and sincerity in the way they treat guests, which makes the entire experience feel very personal and meaningful. The rooms are absolutely stunning, thoughtfully designed, spacious, and immaculately clean. The architectural and interior design is modern yet deeply rooted in Balinese culture, with beautiful details that create a calming and inspiring atmosphere. It’s clear that a lot of care and creativity went into every corner of the space. I also have to mention how consistently excellent the service is. No request was too much, and everything was handled with grace and efficiency. Whether I needed help with local recommendations, transport, or just casual conversation, the team was always happy to assist with a smile. I’m genuinely excited about the upcoming expansion of the property. I can already imagine how beautiful the new space will be, and I absolutely can’t wait to return once it’s completed. If the current experience is anything to go by, it’s going to be incredible. Titik Dua is not just a hotel, it’s a place that leaves a lasting impression. It’s a perfect mix of comfort, style, and heartfelt hospitality. I’m so glad I came back, and I’m already looking forward to my next stay.

Cozy room with a comfy bed!! The atmosphere was lovely and very relaxing. The staff here were all so friendly, welcoming and attentive as well. We asked for slippers at 10pm at night and it came right away. And not to mention the food here - the complementary breakfast was delicious and the restaurant in this hotel was fabulous with live music and scrumptious food. Highly recommend anyone in Ubud to stay here for a relaxing night

The staff and the welcome gifts were absolutely spot on! I was genuinely impressed by the attention to detail — the welcome treats were some of the most thoughtful and high-quality I’ve seen in any hotel. The breakfast was also a true highlight, especially the duck congee — easily the best breakfast I had during my entire stay in Bali. The reason I didn’t give a full 5 stars is mainly due to the room design and noise. The hotel frequently hosts evening events, and unfortunately, the sound from the restaurant travels into the rooms. If you’re someone who needs to sleep early, this could be an issue. The room layout is another downside. While the open design looks architecturally impressive, it’s not very practical. The shower has no separation from the main room, so steam fills the entire space during use — which can be uncomfortable. That said, the staff were excellent throughout, and these design issues aren’t something they can change. Overall, a beautiful hotel with top-notch service and food, but with some room comfort considerations to be aware of.
