Bali Reopening: Everything New to Do, From Wellness to Dining | Condé Nast Traveler

"Over in Ubud, mid-2020 arrival Titik Dua celebrates local crafts within a boxy, tropical modernism–inspired building by renowned Indonesian architect Andra Matin. The snug rooms feature hand-crafted furnishing and textiles by local artisans, and the hotel's coworking-friendly cafe and art gallery often host talks and exhibitions on Bali's burgeoning art scene."

Titik Dua Ubud exceeded all expectations. The design is stunning. Every corner feels intentional and calming. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with great attention to detail. Reception team replies almost instantly to every Whatsapp message (this is their mode of communication). Service was outstanding. The staff (Bimba, Anita, Puspa, Darma, Windy, Yantur, Wida - sorry if I misspelled or left anyone else's name) were genuinely friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, making the stay feel personal.

Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights in a Deluxe Room. The hotel is nice and new, beautifully designed, and very pleasant to stay in. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive — they even remembered my room number and my food allergy (no dairy), which was a lovely touch. The room was well designed and came with a nice balcony, and the breakfast was excellent and delicious; although it’s à la carte, it was more than sufficient. Check-in was handled by Windi, who was professional, friendly, and welcoming. A few minor improvements could be made, such as having the rain shower head ceiling-mounted with better water pressure, brighter lighting in the toilet area, and a faster lift is much appreciated. Do note that the hotel is currently undergoing expansion, so there may be some noise during the day. Overall, a very satisfactory stay and I would definitely return.

I recently stayed at Titik Dua Ubud and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel has such a calm atmosphere, beautiful design, and spotless rooms everything felt just right. The service was outstanding. All the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcome. I especially want to mention Mr. Darma from Guest Relations, who was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. He was kind, professional, and always made sure I had everything I needed. The location is great peaceful yet still close to everything. The food was delicious, and the whole place has this unique charm that makes you want to stay longer. Overall, one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in Ubud. Highly recommended, and I’d love to come back again!

Enjoyed my stay very much. It’s a boutique hotel and the architecture is really unique. There’s a speakeasy bar behind one of the walls as well. Rooms are well furnished (the speaker was a great addition). What the hotel lacked in amenities, the staff made it up with their amazing hospitality. There’s morning yoga/pilates session which was a good way to start the day as well. Food was fantastic and location is ideal for anyone who wants to escape from the city bustle

Titik Dua Ubud – A One-Night Stay That Felt Truly Exceptional ✨✨✨✨✨ I only stayed for one night at Titik Dua Ubud, but the experience was genuinely good, great, and super from start to finish. The first thing that immediately caught my attention was the incredible design of the building. The architecture is stunning—precise, minimalist, contemporary, yet beautifully blended with tropical Ubud vibes. If you’re looking for a fresh and unique take on Ubud’s style, this place delivers a completely different and refreshing experience. The staff were another highlight. They were friendly, helpful, cheerful, and always made sure to stay connected with me for anything I needed. Their warmth and attentiveness really added to the overall experience, and I loved that. And of course, the food—simply top-notch. Ramu Kitchen served dishes that perfectly combine Indonesian flavors with a modern fusion twist. Everything was delicious, and the space itself is beautifully designed. Oh, and I have to mention this: the soap! The scent was incredibly good—such a perfect, memorable touch. I loved it so much. Can’t wait to come back again and try their new building on my next visit!

I stayed at Titik Dua for a 4 day yoga retreat in November, I feel so bad that I have not written a review yet because the stay was better than I could have imagined and it deserves the highest of praises. The staff at Titik Dua are so wonderful, they are welcoming, warm and friendly, helpful, go above and beyond, I found it so beautiful that I only had to introduce myself once and they remembered my name from then on. The actual hotel is very modern with beautiful styling, so peaceful, a well sized pool to swim in and they offer different activities to guests such as yoga and bike rides. The food at the hotel in the restaurant or in the breakfast area was delicious, I have never had food like that before, I wish I could replicate it at home! There is also a cozy little bar to enjoy. The location is also fantastic, very convenient to Ubud shops, rice paddy walks, a quick drive to different temples, waterfalls etc. Next time I visit Bali I will definitely be staying at Titik Dua again!

We really enjoyed our 3d2n stay in Titik Dua. We were greeted and welcomed warmly by the staff upon arriving and served with a welcome drinks and cold towel. The check in process is very fast and efficient. The hotel room is cozy, clean, beautifully designed and well maintained. The service of the staff is excellent, they attended to our requests promptly. The room is located further away from the main road and surrounded by greenery, offering us a tranquil and serene stay experience. We enjoyed their breakfast especially the Bubur Bebek. The hotel is also very thoughtful to prepare a slice of cake and bouquet for my partner bd. Overall, we had a great and pleasant stay with Titik Dua, hope to go back for a stay with you when your new building is completed.
