"Nestled in the rain forest leading up to the famous Boiling Lake, Titou Gorge features cool, deep waters and smooth cliff walls formed by molten lava. If you’re wearing water shoes and a flotation device, you can actually get down in the canyon and make your way upstream through a series of pools that ends at a waterfall. If you’ve seen Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest , then you’ve seen Titou Gorge before—portions of the movie with Orlando Bloom were filmed in this very spot."

Titou Gorge was a highlight in Dominica! The water is cold but refreshing, and swimming through the narrow gorge surrounded by lush greenery is unforgettable. Not too crowded, fun, and the waterfall at the end makes it worth the trip. Dominica truly surprised me in the best way!

Very nice excursion...they gave u lifejacket for extra pay...everytime they are taking care of u. They can take pictures...water is not cold and they have fitting room if need it. You can see very nice places all the way.

Titou Gorge is a natural wonder. Just beware that the only chance to see the waterfall, is to plunge into the cold water and swim upriver through the Gorge!

O U T S T A N D I N G Check to see if cruise ships are in port first. Go on a day they aren’t in. Rental of life jackets required ($10 EC).

Nice place to chill in the hot weather. Friendly staff and affordable prices. Water temperature is not that bad as people say, it does not make you shiver. No need to worry about your belongings, one of the guides mom takes care of everything once you are in the cave. Don't forget to buy bracelets, she keeps an eye on your stuff for free. Cool experience. The water stream might be strong after the rain so wear the life jacket! If you are not a good swimmer they have comfy tubes. Pro tip-get there early to have the whole cave only for yourself!

Drive with your car to the parking lot, walk 5 minutes and find your guide. The guide will give you a lifejacket for 10EC. Then jump in the water and swim to the waterfall. Super cool experience, swimming through the cliffs. The water is pretty cold (refreshing).
