Tivat Airport

Small Airport with 2 Terminals. Its a classic minimal airport for charter flights although Lufthansa and Air Montenegro and maybe other major companies get there. In terminal 1 there is a cafe bar and a kiosk and clean toilets before security. After security there is a small Duty free, with some Sandwiches sweets and of course the regular Duty free items.The toilets are a mess. Access to and from aircraft on foot.(maybe during winter its different. come'on Montenegro , you have a beautiful country invest a few Euro and give your Tivat airport a face lift!

Avoid this place at all costs — it’s hell on earth. Don’t come here. Not to this airport, and honestly, not to whatever vacation you were planning in this region. The airport experience is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. At 7:30 in the morning, there’s already a queue just to approach the building — you can’t even see which terminal you’re supposed to be in. Once inside, it’s chaos: people shouting, kids crying, not a single free centimeter of space. It feels like the front row of a Beatles concert — only without the music, just misery. No tolerance, no order: even families with kids are being yelled at or pulled aside by staff. It’s a complete disaster. Absolutely avoid if you value your time, sanity, or dignity.

We come 2.5 h early to our flight. Thursday was out flight. Then we come around 14:30 it was not that crowded. But after our check-in people stared building up. But everything was clear without any problems. My advice come early because there's pretty big line in check in sometime. Personal is Friend. Pretty hot inside and crowded keep mind. There is free wifi called tivat airport or so just need to open there site first to access

Quite horrible experience. The airport is way too small to handle all those passengers. Passport control line and security check was a bit chaotic. There was this one guy trying to keep people in lines, good work from him! Coffee place prices was ridiculous😅

The airport is terrible, and so are all the processes in it. It is overcrowded. Huge queues. Only one check-in counter. The air conditioners don’t work. Everything was awful.

All personal on phones so it takes more time to do a job. Terminal 2 starts check-in but in the same hall is and control but control they opened only after 1 hour. So you start to wait outside and waiting 2 h to your plane. Its fun that everywhere are signs "2 m distance".

Its a small airport with the advantages ans disadvantages of it:s size. Landing with the inbound flight was great, I went through the costumes in 5 minutes. However, waiting for the outbound flight was extremely crowded, with smallest duty fee shop, and only vending machines for drinks in addition to the most crowded duty free single shop.

Very small to serve such a large part of the country. Second busiest airport in Montenegro. Very slow service. I was travelling during the mid season and spent a lot of time checking in, passing security and passport control. No cafe or restaurant at the departure gates. Only one small duty-free shop with ridiculous prices . During the high season it will be very uncomfortable to fly from this airport. But in April it is calm and easy.
