Tjarnarbíó Theater

Great venue with polite staff on arrival. We went to see stand-up Adam Van Bendler from Poland. Very entertaining, worth seeing.

A nice, clean theater with a bar in the front lobby to grab a quick drink. Excellent location near city hall. We were there last October and saw the Apparat Organ Quartet perform. It was a great musical and visual experience.

Great, surprising space in a lovely location (surprising because I've walked past it many many times and didn't notice it!) - the theater itself is big enough to feel like a proper experience but small enough that it's cozy and you feel close to the performers. The bar at the entrance has all the basic drink options you could want and there's a really nice little glass-covered greenhouse-type sitting area for before/intermission/after the performances. Fun option for an evening out :).

Cute little theatre. The seats were nice and high, so the little ones could comfortably see the show even though there were grown-ups in front of them.

Great theater, lots of new shows with a fair amount of plays in English. Comfortable lobby cafe.

Delicious food and very good coffee and tea. Excellent service, I will try go another day after travel Spain.

Very nice location. Reykjavik Jazz Festival: concert of 3 Luxembourgish Jazz musicians Michel Reis, Marc Demuth & Jeff Herr together with an Islandic sax player.

Just went in for coffee in the cafe out of the cold very nice place.
