The dishes are Amazing!!! If you want to try different styles of fish dishes with Amazing flavors you should really stop in. I was able to make it just before they shut down for the season in early October.

Super cozy, relaxed environment. Great staff, great music, absolutely loved the atmosphere. The food was delicious, and I could not eat enough!! I will come back to Iceland just to come back.

Lots of fish options to get from and we especially love the fish soup and salmon!! During seating in this warm house, you not only got to enjoy the delicious food, but also welcomed by the host and his speech entertainments. We laughed so hard and he is funny and cute! Fabulous small and homey restaurant. Family style tables and line-up-with-your-plate food service. But this food is fantastic. Fresh and perfectly cooked fish dishes, delicious and unique sides and soup plus beer or wine. Highly recommend!

Incredible food, staff, and atmosphere. We were looking for a good place to eat after a long day of driving and found this place basically on chance. We showed up an hour early by mistake (google said 6pm open but that was incorrect). The staff let us inside and took us down for an impromptu reservation at 7pm - the correct opening - and we had a beer until the other guests started rolling in. After the chef gave a speech with some jokes, history, and the order of ops, we got to dig into one of the best sea food dinners I've ever had. If you love sea food, you WILL NOT leave hungry or disappointed. A must stop if you're in the West Fjords or Iceland in general.

Wonderful cozy place (yes, it is small). Buffet style, all you can eat. All different kinds of fish and fish soup. Very delicious!

Outstanding and just the best sea food restaurant run by a family and it’s absolutely amazing how in such a small place they do what they do. The food is just too good, the fish is fresh and really well made. If you have anytime in the Westfjords and can visit this place for a meal please do so. It’s a buffet with great food. Please do reserve and go there.

After 12 days on the road in Iceland, this was by far our favorite meal. We saw a reservation is helpful and we walked over about 30 minutes before opening to get our name on the list. That is absolutely a good call! Folks who came late missed out on parts of the meal or couldn’t get seated at all. Family style seating and a “buffet” of various fish and local vegetables, we were blown away with how wonderful everything was. If we could offer a couple top picks: the seafood soup, the cod cheeks (!!!), and small whole roasted potatoes. Those things were top notch! But everything was really just delicious. (The dinner is “fixed,” so the buffet at 9000isk per person is the only option.) We loved the camaraderie of eating with so many other folks and just enjoying the environment with a home cooked meal. For those inclined, there was a healthy selection of alcohols available for pairing. At the end, we left dumb fat and happy. It was a memorable experience and a fantastic meal. Worth every penny.
