The property is stunning, with beautiful gardens and a tranquil atmosphere that makes it feel like a hidden retreat. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and equipped with all the comforts you could need. Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious options that catered to every taste. We have stayed in many hotels and venues in Gauteng and this ones beats everything: every detail is thought through. The owner, Ian makes, all the difference: very social and ‘ on the ball’. He gives you good advices and explains the procedures in the hotel well. Also the questions which we had beforehand were all answered quick and well. The rooms are suburb: wonderful beds, a wonderful bathroom and a good stock of amenities. The rooms are quiet.|The place is extreme safe. The only thing we were missing is bottle of water in the room. The breakfast was also great.

Tladi Lodge made us very welcome for our one night stay. The gardens are beautiful and create a relaxed atmosphere. The bathroom was impressive in our room, perhaps because we were on a corner, with almost as much space as the bedroom. It had a double slipper tub and a 5'x5'shower enclosure, plus a separate toilet enclosure. We appreciated the complementary small decanter of brandy. Breakfast was as good as it gets with absolutely personal service from the chef. The Lodge is located in a quiet suburban neighbourhood close to buy not in Sandton Centre. The distance from Sandton Centre was not a problem for us since our host collected and dropped us daily. We would certainly stay again as this is a nice break from monotonous chain hotels.

Recently my wife and I celebrated ou 25 wedding anniversary in Johannesburg, South Africa. We spent three nights at Tladi Lodge. Although I have been to a great many countries and stayed in countless hotels I had never stayed at a Lodge. Until my stay at Tladi I considered hotel and Lodge synonymous. What I can say is that Tladi Lodge is in fact, a 5 star experience in a home setting with an owner/concierge assisting with your every need. The facility is spectacular as is the care from the staff. The location is also fantastic inside a gated community with the rich and famous of Johannesburg. The numerous treats from the staff range from sherry and chocolate left in your room every evening to amazing chef-cooked meals with African ingredients like ostrich, make this experience the way to see South Africa. We highly recommend you chose Tladi for your next stay in Joburg.

I've spent a number of weeks working in Sandton and after trying a few in the area this is definitely my favourite and now the only one I'll go to.||||They do the important things very well - comfy beds, powerful shower, underfloor heating (crucial in winter!) and excellent evening meals. All with very friendly staff. ||If you want to eat out there are a number of restaurants a 5 minute Uber ride away. The residential area around the hotel is safe for walking or going for run.

I have been to Tladi a few times for business and every single trip has been exceptional. The service is outstanding, on my last trip Ian message to find out if we would like to stay for dinner as well as confirm our room was available earlier if we needed to check in. Great service! The facilities are amazing and spending the evening in the bar after a long work day is an amazing way to unwind. In the room you are welcomed with free wifi, a little chocolate next to the bed. Tea, coffee, even a little plunger and filter coffee. Some Sherry next to the bed for a night cap. Bubble bath, lotions and just amazing little touches. Every where you look they go the extra mile. Although I stayed here for work I would defenitely come and stay here for a trip with my wife. It's a tranquil spot where you feel like you are on holiday, yet you are 5 min away from the hustle and bustle of Sandton.

We arrived earlier than check in and the owner kindly offered us an upgraded room that was ready. The room was beautiful and we had our own patio to the lovely grounds.||The owner was extremely helpful and gracious. Breakfast was wonderful. The owner also went out of his way to accomodate our dietary needs. A very relaxing, friendly inn!

Tladi Lodge is an amazing place in a residential safe area. Large rooms with a terrace, well maintained garden, conference facilities, breakfast on the large table with other guests, served by friendly staff. I was on a business trip but if feels like home. You can pick a coffee or tea and biscuits near the reception or serve you a beer at the bar, just marking on a sheet what you had. Dinner should be ordered on beforehand.
